Ned, Thanks for taking us along on your digging adventure. The IXL Bitters is a gorgeous bottle with all that sweet benicia on it. Do you prefer tumbled bottles or cleaned up a natural out of the ground? I do love bottles with benicia on them, especially when the sun or light is hitting them. You guys were able to dig some nice embossed bottles on your other dig. Take care Ned and be safe while I patiently wait for your next video. ✌
Good question Debra ! I love a good patina but a clear specimen you can see through and notice all the imperfections in the glass from when they made it, is also good! It really just depends on the piece, I would say...

Ive been watching another channel called Mike the Scavenger on scrapping metal from dumpster diving, 3 years ago he had under 50K subs now he’s got over 400K and i suspect he makes way more money off UA-cam than he does scrapping, the key to his channel is that he’s funny and its well produced. Keep it up 👍
Nice finds. Your videos are awesome. I think you guys should also use metal detectors on your sites. I bet gold coins would show up as they circulated more on the west coast than on the east coast.
hay ned do you dig up bottles with poop in them because i found one and it had a cork in it but i tapped it and it went boom and it stink's i got out of there really fast and did outhouses be down a hill right beside a river

I hate to be a nerd like this lol but At like 13:44 you said the golden gate international exposition was in 1915 but it actually was in like 1939-1940. You mustve been thinking of the panama pacific exposition which WAS in 1915🤓👆
