Just finished watching both videos. You are EXCELLENT! I'm a novice but I just started building today and I'm on video 1 around 3:25 but I'm going to do this and I appreciate you and your video. I subscribed to your channel so I look forward to seeing more nice and slow yet time effective videos.
I’m going to attempt to build this myself, (first built ever) I’d like to make the outside extend longer therefore you can slide a chair in and have legs covered by the top of bar. How would you adjust to make that happen?

hello no i live in canada so when you buy a 3 inch its actually 2.5 inches if you buy a 2x4 its 3.5 inches

So at the 3:20 mark you changed the blocking from 10 1/4 to 2" inches? why ?
hello yes i stood back and relized that 10 an1/4 inches was to wide to big so i changed it to 2 inches for the blocking it looked better
