The BEST video on making a home bar from design thru construction...NO warp speed fast forwarding here...Can't wait to see the next Part....I'm hooked!!
Hi there ! Thanks for your video, you’ve got very good advices. I’ll open my bar this year in france and I would make my own bar. Do you know how much did it cost to build that super bar ? Thanks for your answer ! Cheers
hi many thanks for your videos they are certainly very informative, i was wondering if you could show us how to build the upper part of the bar where we can hang glasses etc, in other words a top bar, many thnks
Add adjustable feet with thread inserts so you can adjust them to level the bar. Could also use shims or have a bottom board that is tapered to level bar and then cover with trim
I'm sorry but I don't like this at all. My problem is, what happens when they need to replace the flooring and the bar is on top of it. Also never heard of cutting 2x4s around trim, shouldn't it be cut flush to the wall then add the trim back? 🤔 I'm very confused
Since the floor is concrete here, we didn’t need to worry about replacing the floor in the future. The trim cutout can go either way but thats how this particular design went.

Looks great. Planning to build one in my basement this fall.

Did you install drywall and FRP on the interior wall?
Curious whats the best way to combat a sloped floor? Looking at doing this in my garage, with a 1.5'' of downward slope in the bar area.

Where is the finished video 😊
How much wood was actually used in this project?
What kind of wood are you using? I’m building a bar right now but the wood is a lot less straight/ plumb than this
We used 2x4 and 2x6 from Home Depot.
Hey I currently put up my bar like this but it’s 12ft long and it sways a bit, anyone got any advice on how to help fix that
For a home bar, same L-shape but way smaller, say 3'x5½, would 2x3 be sufficient?
I used 2x3's to build the framing for my bar. It works out fine. Using plywood for the outer skin is a lot cheaper than using 2x4's also.
Great work,, I wish you were in GA.
How tall was the bar base from bottom of bottom plate to top of top plate? ( excluding thickness of bar top?
Very nice & interesting 👏👏👏I love to do it too😘
How many boards did you need to buy for this?
Way overbuilt.
You did that my man and your instructions are on point
Where do I find a list of specific materials?
How many pieces of wood did you guys use in total?
Thanks, frank.
Yea I’m building one using pallet wood and regular wood
Crescent wrench 🫡
Material and measurements?
I would of used plywood or MDF or something instead of all those 2x4
Where's part 2?
Look more like 2x4s to me

How long was the bar ?
