Little extra info about the infantry models. The true M.16 Flammenwerfer was actually an Austrian flamethrower officially known as both the M.16 15L Flammenwerfer and the "Sturmtruppen Flammenwerfer" M.16. The M.16 shown to us was normally dubbed by troops as the "Kleif", being short for Kleiner Flammenwerfer. The M.1916 was a part of a long line of upgrades starting with the M.1912, M.1914, and ending with the M.1917 variation which was eventually renamed to the "Mittlere Flammenwerfer" once the Wex M.1917 arrived on the front.
Hey excellent work there, this was a niche topic I tried to search 4 years ago and could not find much. Now I saw your video and you cannot imagine how giddy I was.
Can you tell me what sources you use for the road to the powderkeg series. A sort of recommendation for the 1815-1914 " interwar period" literature, thanks.

Quite the interesting topic, did not expect there to be so much depth to it!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Im glad it helped! This video took me a while to put together and definitely would not have been possible without the help of the guy who suggested it

I would recommend "Pursuit of Power" as a starting point, its what inspired me to make the series
@@Wolfof1918 thanks for the recommendation and keep up the good work.
