Porsche 981 GT4 Heigo Roll Bar Install

Here is the installation of a replica 981 GT4 club spot roll bar. I wanted to still have access to the engine pretty easily if needed.

I fondly remember helping my dad work on cars I was too young and had no idea what I was doing but he let me pull sparkplugs and stuff like it was something any little kid should be doing...he taught me not to be afraid of working on cars consequently I almost never take my vehicles to shops of dealers unless a recall or some shit I did the same thing with my son's and they were not afraid to get greasy either

I was the same way with my dad. I learned the basics and I have worked for dealerships for 10 years before switching careers and picked up everything I need to repair my own vehicles.

When you say pre-cut does it come with it or did you cut it before showing us on the video?

I bought them 2nd hand from someone who already cut them for this bar.

I am glad I didn’t attempt this myself. But my shop is having a hell of a time trying to fit the hoop. It’s horrible, the holes don’t line up at all. My shop had to hammer it into place. DO not buy this Heigo cage, the money you save will all be lost in labour. Oh and the cage came all scratched, after sending picture to FVD they claim that is normal for Heigo products 😮…. DO NOT BUY!!

I’ll need it Just to told the shoulder belts. But yes I hope I don’t need it other than that. But if I do it does it job. I understand the need for safety equipment for the tack. I’ve rolled my race go kart before and all the safety equipment did it’s job and I just ended up with some bruises.
