Thanks. Great roublevideo, but we're having trouble getting old halogen bulbs out and don't want to break light housing. Any tricks here, and which way to turn to get out?
If you are looking at the headlight from the front I turned the light on the passenger side clockwise to remove and the driver side I turn the light counterclockwise to remove the light. I also wear work gloves to get a better grip on the light. Hope that helps. Thanks

Yes that's all you do. Mine were tight from the factory also.
I am having a problem getting my head lights out of our 2019 highlifter they won’t turn any advise would be great.
When I did mine I put on a set of shop gloves to give more padding and grip. Also make sure you turning them counter clockwise to remove the bulb and clockwise to install. Hope this helps you.
After you lifted the ranger xp 1000, did you have to adjust headlights? if so what was the easiest way to get headlights adjusted corrrectly?
I did not adjust them because i have the bumper LED bar. I know they can be adjusted and they have one screw on the top and two on the bottom. Check out this link i found. It tells you how to adjust. ranger.polaris.com/en-us/self-help/article/KA-01279/
I have 2018 ranger 570 midsize, would it b the same plug and play?
No these will not work on your 570. I believe the 570s use 880 or H11 but not sure. Thanks for watching!

I can’t seem to find the beam tech LED bulbs on the list on amazon. Are the bulbs on the xp 1000 and the plain jan 1000 the same?
I have a link in the description they should fit the 1000.
Did you install the bulbs where the LEDs were pointing up and down or to the side
Mine are side to side.
Do you know if the lights on the 2020 570"s are the same type?
I think they will work but not a 100% sure. They are H13 maybe ask your dealer before you purchase.
Got lights installed today almost dark here in Louisiana going to see what we look like shortly these have cooling fans on them do they need to be turned any certain way in the housing they did lock in.
Mine locked in just like stock but mine did not have cooling fans. Went with the 8k ones.

Yes I believe it will work.
Did you adjust them once in the machine per the manual that comes with the lights? They look blown out and you could probably get better results if you adjust them. Just curious because mine come in tomorrow and I know they have small screws that you can tweak.
Yes they can be adjusted but I never felt the need to adjust with all the other LED lights I added to this unit. Thanks for watching!

Do these work on a 2019 General 1000? I see tons of reviews for Rangers but none for the General.
They only fit the Rangers as far as I know.

Do you work this machine? I’m looking at buying one. I’m also looking at the Textron stampede X. It will be worked hard. Pulling small trees out. Loading the bed with rocks dirt wood etc. I posted on a different page and 20 of the comments says stay away from the Ranger. Any info would help. Thank you
Yes I use my machine for work and play. I haul dirt and gravel in my dump bed which has a payload capacity of a thousand pounds. I use it for moving heavy trailers on my property too. Also it has the most HP in its class at 82 HP and I added the gilomen tune and clutch kit which increases it to 104 HP. That is one of the main reasons why I purchased the unit.
I have had it for about 6 months with no mechanical issues. It does come with a factory one year warranty which is nice. I also do some trail riding and hunting with the unit and it is a very capable trail machine if you just want to play around. Its a overall great unit and I would recommend the unit to anyone who is looking for a UTV. Hope this helps you.

There is a lot of personal option about UTVs. The most important thing is your Dealer and the Service Department when choosing and off road machine. I am buying my fourth Ranger this month; no matter all the down sides on a Ranger it is still the best UTV for all around use; I live on a farm and hunt and just ride the back roads; we can drive on county roads but not State Highways here; I think the Ranger is the best. BUT, the most important thing is the dealer and the service that is available; I might buy the Can Am because I like the cab & storage even though it is 300 pounds heavier and much louder than the Ranger. The local Can Am Dealer dose not even have a mechanic let alone a service department. I'd have to pull a trailer more than a couple of 100 miles to get service; the Warranty is void with out the Can Am service, eh? My local Polaris Dealer 27 miles away for a small fee will even pick up and deliver my Ranger for service.
Hey UTV Dirt just got my beamtech led headlights in, when I plugged them in they had a small gap between led plug and the housing plug is this correct I also just wrapped with electrical tape too to help with everything
Mine do not have a gap. They are flush with the light housing.

So your led light plug and the plug harness plug did not have a gap in between each other when plugged together
Yes mine have a little gap were they plug into each other. I thought you meant the bulb to the housing.
Was able to twist the bulb off...how did you take the bulb off the actual plug
It just unplugs from the socket.
Installed exact headlights you used and they only work on bright and my dash indicator for bright lights works on brights or dims. Did not work!
They worked on mine. Low and bright as you can see on the video.
I believe these will fit my 2017 RZR 900s, these are H13 LED bulbs and mine are H13 halogen bulbs
Not sure if they will work. You can try though and if they dont fit send them back to Amazon for refund.

Yes just like factory lights.
Looked the lights up on amazon. I saw beamtech has a 8k lumen or a 10k lumen for a dollar more. Which ones did you get?

No they will not fit. They are only for xp 1000 Ranger.

had a question for you, was doing a little mudding today and went through deep puddles of water. started feeling like my rpms were higher than usual and the ranger wasnt going as fast as before. what do you think could be the issue?
It sounds like you got some water in the clutch cover and the belt is slipping. Take the red plug off on the clutch cover to let the water out. Hope that helps you out.
@@UTVDIRT Thanks, question for you what are your rpms at when your in standard mode, one wheel drive going about 30mph? just to compare with my rpms. i dont know but for some reason doesnt feel like its running like before. took the red plug off and i didnt have any water drain out.
@@treysspider1832 No problem the rpm at 30mph was 5150 in one wheel drive standard mode. I have the gilomen ECU tune and clutch upgrade though.

Sure they are beamtech H 13 LED 50 W 6500 K and 8000 lumens (9008 Hi/Lo). Best money I spent you will not be disappointed.

@@UTVDIRT Got my BEAMTECH H-13 in the mail yesterday, took 20 minutes to install, the connector on the passenger side was a little stubborn but I worked it out with a slotted screwdriver, They look AWESOME!!!!!!! THANK YOU so much for the tip, was worth the effort. Remember the H-13 does also fit the 2017 Ranger 1000 also! Got mine for a great deal on eBay.

I just ordered the Spike LEDs off Amazon for my 2019 XP Crew. Lol, I haven't even picked up the machine yet. Getting delivered later this evening from my salesman buddy. It was a leftover '19 and I think I got a hell of a deal. Sunset Red for $14,500. Lights look awesome. Hope mine do as well. AND hope I like the Polaris. Traded an '18 Pioneer 1000-5 for it.

I had no issues with heat. Probably the best and least expensive mod to get.

When you installed these did you find the bulb kind of wiggles around a little or was it right nice and snug. I got some off amazon and it seals in nice but the bulb wiggles feels like its a little loose
Mine fit snug and no wiggles.
