Probably because the workout plans are antiquated to put nicely. Jim helwig was a bodybuilder with no real wrestling skill outside of his physique and fortunately Vince McMahon was obsessed with him and gave him the quickest/easiest ride to the top and he still couldn’t bring in the fans like hogan. Genetics and roids made him the warrior, not some BS he is spouting
I was one of the participants. It was a wild fucking day of which I’ll never forget. The day started at about 4AM. We had to meet up at a random location and walk 5 miles to the gym. I have zero idea how long we actually worked out for but it was hours. Warrior ended up taking us out for breakfast afterwards. Despite his shortcomings he treated me very well & even shot me a text weeks afterward to see how I was doing. Not everyone had a great experience with him afterwards but I was grateful to have a once in a lifetime experience.
@@Keranu zero clue. Oh, I’m sure Steve has had some bad experiences but he stuck with him throughout so I’m sure if anything’s happened between them both they worked through it.

What a great way to waste money AND potentially hurt yourself! 0 warm up, 0 stretching, little attention to form, improper clothing, and constant repeated screaming of cheesy motivation lines with swearing so they sound tough. Not only that you get to do the trainers job of setting up the workouts so you’re getting especially ripped off. Sounds like fun! Exactly. Yea let’s get 1 athlete, 3 or 4 moderately in shape guys, 5 totally average people, and 1 40 something year old guy who’s never worked out in his life and give ONE max effort, overtraining day! 🙃
The most telling example of why this place failed was 53:32. You mean to tell me that Warrior and those other numbnuts are gonna ask these guys to do all these rigorous exercises with no stretching beforehand and little to no rest time in between, yet they aren’t gonna supply them with any clean drinking water? “Go to the bathroom and get a drink out of the sink”?? There is an older man injured leg, not cool. Jim was a fascinating dude. Heard he had a 5 year legal battle over Warrior copyright. He always seemed on edge. Gone too soon sadly with little children.
Yeah. He had the worst cardio ever. He was always huffing and puffing just from his run down to the ring. But, I was still a huge fan of his and his intensity.
@@TheAxe4Ever I think around the end of this video Warrior talks about people criticizing him for running out of breath after his entrance. Actually he did do cardio. His wife stated he would do an hour of cardio in the morning either on the treadmill or on the exercise bike and then do his weights at night. I agree his cardio wasn't the best but he did do it for sure. But to be fair, he had a family history of heart problems and steroids didn't help it during his wrestling career.
