This is awesome. This is what men need to hear today. This is what’s missing in today’s lectures, in today’s society. What a great dad his daughters had. Jim Helwig had some major ups and downs in his life but he did it his way.
Funny but he felt his days were coming to an end as he delivered his message loaded of wisdom, fire, empowerment and motivation. Rest in peace my hero.
Yeah, his father and grandfather died in their early 50s. I think he knew his time was short. You can tell he was suffering from congestive heart failure here. I wish he had gone to get checked out and had a bypass or something.
At first I wasn’t sure if I had seen this but then when I started answering his questions, I knew. None of his speeches ever get tiresome for me, ever. Despite the business aspect of the room, my estrogen perspective counts too (: I assume like these other videos- there was a slide show? How inspiring.. Gut instincts= truth. Spot on Warrior. “Doing something original will never be built up from things that make f*cking sense.” Absolutely 💯… Crazy geniuses we are. I remember hearing and reading the name Heraclitus in another book and then finally remembering Warrior’s reference. Same idea in that book as his words. Thank you Warrior and Steve. He is so missed… 💙🙏🏻💪🏻
Hola 👋, soy de España, donde el último guerrero es un héroe, me puedes decir que ha dicho en esa conferencia? Es que no se inglés, me lo puedes resumir?? Por favor 🥺
This was way better than I was expecting. I love the Warrior and consider myself as big of a fan as any of his wrestling days. The emotion and passion, words of wisdom and a ability to hold an audience for an hr+ are beyond what he was generally given credit for by many. I found this unbelievably inspiring. Warrior. ...You were a highlight of my childhood and the life you lived, words you spoke, continues to inspire. R.I.P legend.
Love or hate him, he is right about following your gut instinct. Ive learned that the hard way. It doesnt have to be a big decision or other situation. It could be little things like if you gut feeling is telling you to take a different route to work or school. It doesnt matter what it is, just do it.
I miss you Jim. I know you changed your name to Warrior but when I met you and spent time with you talking to my Son , you were Jim. My Son still tells his friends how nice and kind you were to him and we still have the pictures of all of us around my home. I wish you were still here. Rest in Peace my old buddy. Peace forever to you
Thank you for sharing, had no idea he was so intense. Jim and his Ultimate Warrior brought a message along with his wrestling performance that exceeds all other wrestlers...a personal message. All should hear.
DelbertPrince5302, JR struggles with it, Cornette is just a traditionalist, that felt he didn't respect the business, wasn't a fan of his promos or inring work, DiBiase feels the same, but he, JR etc, struggle with talking about Warrior, still bothering them when he's not here anymore, but I sent to Cornette on Twitter last week, that Warrior is misunderstood and I said, no matter their opinions, Warrior made it big, he got over.
@delbertprince5302 Yes, he always said despite fighting with Vince in court, and the DVD, he respects him more than he respects anyone else, He felt Vince was an visionary like he was, that stayed up 24/7, a workaholic. When Warrior passed away, Vince was deeply effected by his passing, very teared eyed in an interview.
Few years ago Warrior's stuff on UA-cam (and of course Ultimate Warrior) got me into clean eating. Now im really hearing what hes saying about our minds n that ❤❤
One of the biggest knocks on Hellwig was that he never made much sense on the mic, but I gotta say, he stayed pretty coherent through this hour long promo.
Jealousy is a part of every industry. It's unfortunately the life we all live.,,......It's best to have 4 quarters than 100 pennies when it comes to REAL FRIENDS Keep in mind, when people are jealous of you? It's because you're doing something rt. Use it as a marker that your doing great. The more you accomplish? The more the haters gonna hate...But that's good! Keep doing what you do. It's when they stop the jealousy you have to worry about. That means you're not doing great things...... Eventually, the haters gonna die off and or get very I'll ( Cancer) etc..........Just keep your circle of friends very small :-)
Do you really think most people that have normal, regular jobs have the money to pay for a house and/or car in cash?? C'mon that's just not realistic, as much as I love Warrior I didn't agree with that statement.
Except warrior started off poor and struggling in most cases living in a car like sting. Yet why was he able to move up despite people saying he sucked on the ring? What did he have that others don't? You totally missed the message
Not jealous Vince McMahon was making a fortune off warrior. Every man should recognize his worth and expect to be paid for his value.. do you work? Do you expect low wages and don't consider yourself worth money for the labor you do?
Jim didn't grow up loving wrestling nor do I believe that he ever grew to love the industry. He did the baer minimum in order to get paid and was a miserable loathsome soul who couldn't even take the time for a make a wish kid. He created a cool character and is a fellow Hoosier but he's the last person I would listen to as an inspirational speaker.
"miserable loathsome soul" - one of the only guys not to hang in the business in his older years and instead settled and enjoyed his family. Was also good friends with some of the most personally revered wrestlers such as Owen Hart. The Make A Wish incident is pretty disgraceful looking. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone maybe. Will give him credit that was a rare dreadful turn. Look at how he with fans in later years in person and no wrestler compares. God bless
"Don't just be brave under a barbell" 10/10. Warrior rules. Remembered forever.
Its kinda hard to disagree with what he says...

Warrior was truly the very definition of INTENSITY!!
Yep that is why he had a heart attack and died at 54. Is that what you want?
@@TDL-xg5nngenetics is what killed him not intensity.. you go be cautious see where it gets you

That is probably the deepest thing I’ve ever heard
What exactly is deep about it? 100 years from now no one will remember he ever lived.

Ultimate Warrior was preaching facts……..
There was so much good still waiting to get out when we lost him.

destrucity... about sums him up
I hope people like Jim Ross,Jim Cornette and Vince McMahon are watching this video because Jim Ross criticized the Ultimate Warrior a lot.
At least by later years, he cared about people and his fans in a way I have not seen in any other wrestler. Rare in people even.
