I like how you give honest and unbiased reviews! I really need one of these though, I have a single Sunlu dryer that was like $40 when I bought it about 3 years ago. Its been working great but having a dual dryer would be so much better! Especially with the AMS since it takes 4 spools. I bet this would even be great to recharge your desiccant too! Might take longer but its better than using an oven lol.
Thank you for posting this review!! What happens in case power goes out and comes back up? Will it keep going or do you have to manually press to get it to start? Will it keep last settings after switch off? Asking because I’m looking for a dryer that can be started remotely using a smart plug.
That's probably going to be a very hard feature to find. You have to press the power button to turn it on. All of my filament dryers are the same way. It will likely be very hard time to find anything with a heating element that would automatically turn itself back on since these aren't recommended to be left unattended.
@@directedt3ch Thanks. This is becoming a real bottle neck in my workflow because I need to start drying 4-6 hours before starting a print in the morning when I get to the workshop…printers have a toggle switch so I just leave it on and use a smart plug to turn it on and off. All of these dryers are using capacitive/touch buttons 🤦🏼♂️
@@alessandrob3684 You might want to look at electro mechanical switches... they are IOT devices that are used to turn dumb switches into smart switches... like a servo controlled little finger that can press a start/power button for you.

Seems like a solid unit and worth me rolling the dice for 70 bucks.
@@anthonyp4209 Definitely! I think you'll be pleased as well!
