What about Google integration? What people don't realize when having their own website is you need to generate your own traffic. That means GOOGLE integration. I've been on Shopify for a year and the integration with Google shopping is cluster. Mainly because Google is a cluster and trying to navigate between their Ads and Shopping platforms with are very confusing is a nightmare. It's incredibly difficult to get things synched between Shopify and Google. What is the experience like with Pattern? Does the information from Pattern seamlessly link to Google? Because I have so much stuff that won't sync over to Google from Shopify that I can never fix. It's the most frustrating experience ever. And then from a standpoint of simply getting your products noticed on Google, does Google place priority on Pattern, or do you have to pay countless $$ to get things advertised on Google?

Would you ever consider doing a Pattern tutorial? I find absolutely nothing on UA-cam and the Etsy Help section is hard to find. I honestly wish they’d rename it. I look up Etsy Pattern on UA-cam and only find things on selling patterns.

Yes it should work the same way because it still pulls into your Etsy dashboard. That's what's nice about using Pattern. It's not a different web platform it's just an extension of the Etsy platform.
No. Etsy search is only for listings inside Etsy. Size Pattern is basically a website it wouldn't pull in the Etsy search engine. But on the flip side Pattern listings will show in google search and other search engines because they pull from everything on the internet.
@@handmadeandbeyond okay I am trying to link my Shopify online shop to Google merchant and I'm filling out the requirements so what do they mean when they ask supported value for the weight do I enter the actual weight of the item or do I write the word ounce and then select it from the drop-down menu. This is all very confusing and extremely frustrating so if you can help in any way and thank you for answering my other question too much appreciated

Etsy takes 6.5% now of every sale. Do they do the same thing with pattern?
No they do not. You only pay the monthly pattern fee which is $15. They do not take a percentage of sales which is nice.

Yes, you'll have a www. domain that you'll use and send customers to. You can't, however redirect from Etsy to somewhere else.
