- Thousands of people have sung the Liverpool FC anthem You'll Never Walk Alone at a vigil in memory of those who died in the Hillsborough disaster.
The event in Liverpool follows the conclusion of the inquests into the deaths of the 96 victims in 1989, which determined the fans were unlawfully killed.

Respect to all the evertonians who supported us through this
Da Fish they're Liverpudlians too it affected them just as much as us.
A shirt divides our footballing support.. that day our hearts were covered by a liverpool shirt 😢😢
Hahaha why would I support a liverpool fan 🔵
@@kingrobert7246 coz 96 of your fellow human beings were manslaughtered maybe? Just an idea
@@att6484 Would you say the same about 96 terrorists?
in tears 2 teams one city
As a life long Liverpool supporter, much respect to all the Evertonians in the crowd.
I remember this and although not a Liverpool supporter I am glad that after 27 long years justice was served. It's disgraceful that it took so long to find out what really happened on that day and I send my condolences to everyone who lost relatives
I was born just over two years before the tenth anniversary and I learned about it when I was nineteen when everything came out. I'm a Liverpool supporter as well, but I never knew about Hillsborough until my Foster Dad told me about it

Respect to the both teams who put aside their differences in order to pay their respects to the 96 innocent people who sadly lost their lives❤️.
Our families are mixed blue and red, we hate each other for 90 minutes only then back to loved ones. 😍😂
Sat in tears watching this after a loss of my own recently. Those poor families deserved so much better. I hope they just managed to find some kind of comfort in this moment.
I`llnever ever forget this day... :'( Saw it on norwegin tv and I couldn`t belive it. Liverpool,my team and all respect to all the victims and their family!

This is why the establishment dont like liverpool this sort of strength and solidarity is not what they wan t
Christopher barber not it’s not. It’s the only reason the “establishment” as you put it have the slightest smudge of respect.
It’s you Liverpudlians whom claim not to be English that people don’t respect
Only in Liverpool............amazin and beautiful.
It just shows how the footballing world comes together when anything ever happens and that not even a city's rivalry has limits as Liverpool and Everton fans do during this
6 UEFA CHAMPION LEAGUE WINNER for 96 RIP
I cried every damn time
sun newspaper and Kelvin McKenzie still haven't offerred unconditional apology but a qualified one allegedly...
As if that piece of shit, and I'm talking about McKenzie as well as his shit-rag newspaper, will ever apologise for what he put us Reds through
@@lucyhardy-styles-shield2728 can I just say massive respect to the victims of Hillsborough, the people of Liverpool and the Merseyside area because despite that smear campaign against you, you've 100% proved that you're not the lowlife scum they made you out to be instead you've all behaved with dignity and done yourselves proud especially when Andy Burnham's speech was interrupted by the chants of Justice for the 96 that sent a powerful message to the establishment that their corrupt and disgraceful behaviour will follow them everywhere they go!!
Respect to all

Never on the fields of sporting contest,
have the words of so few,
had such an effect on so many.
Never in the history of football
have the words of just one song
brought such unity to our world.
YNWA is sung by many millions worldwide, from Anfield to Australia, Canada to China, Germany to Grenada, Honduras to Hong Kong, bringing us together as one voice, the brotherhood of kinship in Liverpool FC.
Huge respect from a Chelsea fan #ynwa. I cannot believe that the police and the sun covered up the truth but all the families who went through the pain and lies finally got justice.

My father organised the ambulances to rescue the injured. I saw him sat with his head in his hands because he felt immense guilt not saving everyone 🥲
As much as well hate our arch rivals we are there for each other when it matters. Red or Blue in this case or Utd or Liverpool no one can forget what happened in 1989 I wasn't born until 2004. I'm a West Brom Fan but we have Justice For Jeff for Jeff Astle who died of Dementia after heading footballs. But when Cyrille Regis died Wolves Fans and Villa Fans were there for us as they realised he was special to us. Football may be a thing we use to wind each other up but it can unite us. I remember after France in 2015 we stood by the French and Sang there anthem at Wembley then they stood by us after Manchester and London in 2017 singing our anthem and Oasis don't look back in anger. This is why love Football

The amount of disrespect in the newest comments is unbelievable. I can’t believe that the newest generation is so f*cked up that they would make comments like “boo!” or “You Never Win Anything” or “wish those singers would shut up” and “You don’t seem to remember the Heyseil (nobody cares how it’s spelt because nobody cares about it) disaster” This is a disaster that has stained history and spread trauma not just throughout Liverpool, but throughout the world.
Strange how they're less inclined to remember the 39 Juventus fans killed in 1985 at Heysel stadium... Just saying.
YNWA
WE TOLD YOU THEY LIED !!!
😁
Wish the singers would of shut up abit like.

The poor people who lost kids will never get closure on this until they charge all the thugs who were trying to bunk in, and the club accepts that their fans contributed to this
