This man carried our club and stuck with us in the worst period ever in our club. Legend.
he came very close to joining madrid in 2005 but he took a U Turn after agreeing on personal term. Club love I guess
It was Chelsea lad not Madrid
When the crowd keeps singing despite the music being turned off still brings me to tears to this day
that’s anfield ♥️
much love from a hoops fan, even though he managed *them* we can forget about that as i was quite emotional when this happened, fair play to him and i hope he has a great managerial career 💚🤍❤🤍
He has beautiful daughters

carried us to a cl vs an insanely stacked milan team, younger people dont get it but look at their lineup in the final for a moment
he was in the era of Figo, Zidane, Ronaldinho,Totti, DelPiero, Henry....and that was the era I fell in love with Football, because of players who ''lived'' football, not played. That era is gone now, and nostalgia still sneaks up on me sometimes. Thank you for everything the great captain of Liverpool,Steven Gerrard, my heart will never forget legend from that era, this will be something to tell my grandchildren :D Time really goes fast....

Absolute legend of the game. He will go down in history.

When Gerrard left Liverpool I knew that football would start meaning something else to me. Gerrard was the soul and spirit of Liverpool. Absolute Legend.
Gerrard in my opinion doesn't need a BPL Trophy, because he has Anfield.
+Raged Rocketchu Some players have won tons of titles sitting on the bench and nobody will remember them, but Gerrard will be in the memories of football fans forever.

I hope that one day, once Jurgen Klopp leaves anfield, Stevey can come back to manage Liverpool and win the premier league trophy that he deserves
If you don't respect Gerrard, you don't respect football.

The thing I like about Gerrard is that he gave 150% for his beloved football club , his attitude towards the game one was first class. He never moved to the bright lights of London and his head wasn't turned by big money moves , his loyalty his passion was all to see . I wish he could have lifted the title , if one man deserved it ,it was him
He will come back as our coach one day, he will lift the title as the coach of liverpool❤
Can I just say if you watch Steven gerrards performances over even if you include big games the man had everything you could ever wish for in a midfielder and I know clubs hate liverpool and that but you can not deny that man in the middle of the park he made people want to play football him and r9 are the two people if you model your game off you’ll do fine for yourself

The way even a slip up at a title-race game or a red card in 30 seconds doesn't overshadow his legacy speaks volumes about the legacy itself
One slip doesn’t make him a bad footballer. Pretty sure many a time people slipped up in life, yet you wouldn’t be rated for the one bad thing. Pretty shallow of you.
@Venn sim no. Look at trent, he messed up and partly cost liverpool a title, that 1 mistake and no one rates him anymore despite him still being massively talented! Legends never die!
I’m 37, a long life Liverpool fan. I remember the first time I watched Gerrard when he had the #17 shirt. I had never seen a player with so much passion and sheer aggression as Stevie G. When I played football, I always tried to imitate Gerrard, it was not about scoring, it was just about winning by any means necessary. I don’t think Liverpool would produce anything near a Gerrard. I use to watch Jay Spearing play for the youth team, he looked the closest thing to a Stevie G but didn’t work out for him!!
I remember once at Charlton when they were warming down, he and Alonso stopped to take a picture with me before heading down the tunnel.
Villa might not be a top team but he’s one manager who can attract players. He’s a born winner.
