@@bassthumper7331Swapping out my upgrading warden with a minion prince on a ground attack isn't very appealing. All it does is clean out around 3 seeking airmines before dying from the 4th. 😢
By the time I was done with queen at th10 all buildings were done and all that was left was th11 so I said welp, will only be able to use her while hero hall is upgrading. If you think about it, now hero hall adds to the hero upgrading time, so it's not 100, but 100+hero hall levels, unless you go up a TH before you max out heroes in previous stage
My archer queen is close to being maxed while being upgraded almost constantly for 3 months except CWL. I am looking forward to being able to use her constantly. Minion Prince and RC are already maxed
You don't have to max out every Hero in order to enjoy the game. First max your one favorite hero, then upgrade others accordingly. I use gem to buy hero books to speed up the process. I sell all my portions except research and builder portions to maximize the amount of gems gain in game. For new Players, you can leave 1 or 2 Hero at max level of most previous Town hall, since now we have 5 Heroes instead of 4. I sell all my portion except research and builder portion to max amount of gems in game. This is my strategy.
They should make 1 hero update per townhall that takes 20 days. Or alternativly you update your herohall and all your heroes are updated. I know its about selling books but then they could go crazy with releasing heroes with equipments that can be monetized. I would literally not care how low the ore income is if i could just have my heroes ready in clanwars to earn them.
W vid, when minion prince released i really thought i can just upgrade him and still use my normal heroes i got him at th14 max (level 60) but after just thinking about how 30 weeks is more than half a year to max him i realized how i will never be on time to max heroes unless i give up using them
A. If you could always use heroes whilst upgrading, it would devalue the purpose the book of heroes. B. Now that we have a 5th hero, we can pretty much always have the max amount of heros to attack with. I feel that taking a long time to upgrade heroes is quite fair seeing that as they are very strong, if they were to not take long it would take away a lot of the satisfaction.

@crabby9154 ye but if you miss some equipment you need to buy it for 1500 gems. The best equipment takes super long for a normal player to max it. And there are now already a lot of equipments and there will be a lot more in the future. Se basically it will become impossible for a normal player to max it out.
@@clashclash433 thats true, but if you are a consistent player (big if i know) you can max them, the heros no, its just not doable, also because you need them to attack to farm and war so if they are upgrading, everything else slows down, you likely won't win many wars whit heros down making farming for equipment upgrades even harder. Upgrading equipment is hard and frustrating and takes dedication, upgrading heros is like paying taxes on your income but paing takes a week and you cant work that week so you are literally f*ed for trying
Adding more heroes isn't solving the problem, as minion prince just added 1 and a half year of upgrade time to the game and sooner or later we would have to upgrade him and that way we also need to upgrade him to use it instead of upgrading heroes but for how long? As supercell is not addressing the main issue that the problem is the time that hero takes while upgrading so we have to wait before using them and they haven't been got a huge time reduction since a decade, using them all the time doesn't make sense to me
I've upgaraded my town hall to th 13 during hammer jam and then used all my 1500 leage medals on builder potions . This helps me max my heroes fast . I think this is the best thing I've done 🔥 Note : my heroes were maxed for th 12

Love the video, I agree that upgrading heros is a huge investment, and it does need to be addressed, i think if we had more elixir based heros and or pets would make it a little easier, and also have time reductions that would be substantially better for the player base.
they already reduced upgrade time through all the upgrades, if everything is too easy then everyone just having a max base. no challenging. we from 2014 even cooking a troops also take over an hours
@ClashNork ya that was painful, when im in th12 13 i barely can use them, i can't joining clan wars because all my heroes drop everytime, im grinding pretty hard and finally it pay off now all my heroes almost max for th17, i can use them all day long. you get what you work for. new players today never know how it feel when they just rely on the hero potions. back then it just adding 5 level, now it way too easy for new players, just single click you get a max army. i just enjoying the game how it hard or easy. new gen just didn't know what is patient and hard work
I have been playing since global chat 12 years I have been playing and players back in the day had to constantly grind to improve our base and upgrade heros. Now you newbies want to be spoon fed and handed things to max you over night. Darian was the reason clash of clans fun. The new bosses are screwing it with decorations and epic boxes.
I myself have maxed heroes. But in a new player POV, maxing is way further than back in 2015 or in the early days. Tho I understand your point as the challenge of upgrading is indeed a must

They reduced the cost to dirt at lower levels, like from th9 to 14 or so. But the time required is still a lot. Which leads to excess dark and heroes not available to use for most of that townhall level. Which really sucks. They should add more ways to skip some levels or juat reduce the time through out damon6007 btw

Sounds easy until you realize hero upgrade takes days or even weeks to complete 1 upgrade and you don't just have 1 hero but 5 heroes if youre planning to use minion prince, and you cant use them while you upgrade them(pretty problematic in clan war league) and you also need to upgrade other buildings that almost take half a month.

Honestly, at this point i think there should be no upgrade times for anything from start until TH 12. Starting fresh in CoC in 2025 is insane

Last update was pretty good for this imo, always having one hero upgrading is a good way to spent dark consistently while keeping 4 heros for atracks

Old system was better. Heroes having 2 abilities and after upgrading each 5 level the abilities enhancing. That was simple and Better
we should get the unlimited heroes event at least once a year even if it's only for like 2 weeks
They would never bring it back again not a lot of players played during that event it was very unexpected.

How long you been playing clash of clans? If you been playing for a few years you know its a process especially for free to play players.
