i just returned a few weeks ago after like 4-5 year break. this game is refreshing and the boosts and stuff help. not many people have time for 12 year games but with the season passes and the return boosts and town hall upgrade boosts and the consistent updates for town hall upgrades and clan activities. I'm fully back into this game.
I started playing clash of clans about 3 months ago and today i got to town hall 10(i was a fully maxed town hall 9),and i gotta say the game is very F2P friendly atleast for these lower town halls,and they keep on doing events like the sneaky goblin event that just happend that boost player progression alot
@@ursensitiveinagayway4016it’s gonna get pretty slow around th12. Make sure your in an active clan doing wars and clan capital to make sure you have other parts of the game to focus on besides farming for loot. And don’t be afraid to take a break
Coc is f2p at all townhall It's just pay 2 progress fast at higher townhall but the new update just might tackle that issue too coz the walls were the big obstacle and with the new looting %age from collectors and storages being increased it will slightly pull back from pay 2 progress

people can say what ever they want… clash of clans is literally the best mobile game, been playing it for years and i’ve never found a game that can compete with it
1. They listen to the players 2. They're not as greedy as other mobile games 3. Competitive Tournaments 4. Support to youtube creators 5. You can get everything for free that you'll get for money (nothing significant which will boost your attack or defence is paywall)
But you get a lot of free resources / gems / magic items, free super goblins for the whole event, 50% of all troop training times (!). I am very happy with it.
I left COC around 2022. The game was known for simplicity and strategy, now slowly it is becoming so much complicated and kind of feels like a RPG game.
That's why the complexity is drip fed becoming more complex each town hall. If TH16 was just as complex as TH8 the game would be dead. It is natural for any game to become more complex as you progress to higher levels.
The simplicity is still there. You don’t really need complex strategies until like th11. And by then you might aswell start actually learning how to get good at the game since you’ve invested so much time into it. And when you get that deep into the game, the gameplay starts becoming really slow and these added events and villages add a new spark to it
Biggest reason of comeback is returning of opd players who shifted to pubg and free fire I'm also the one in 2019 i was on th8 then suddenly my id lost i start again from th1 rhen i quiti t and for 5 years then after downfall of these survival games (their update sucks destroyed their game by own self) i came back and i see there are a lot of major changes now I'm playing from past months

Rn rushing is the meta . Quickly rush ur th to 16 and upgrade other defensive buildings. Note: troops and storages should be upgraded to max level at every th.

Supercell is better than it was in the past but being better also comes with few drawbacks like how unfair the equipments would be for new players. But now it looks like sc is trying to give new players also a chance to get the equipments for free and hope they'll bring these types of event in the future too. The decorations and scenery being overpriced can also be a thing but at the end of the day it's just cosmetic and doesn't affect the game that much.
I have been playing this game for 8 years. Not on a regular basis but sometimes whenever I get time. Even after this year I am at TH12 only and love to upgrade everything then to the next TH.
also when they cut upgrade times by a ton which got me back in. I was going insane waiting a week for a mere cannon to level up and now it takes less than a day!
in my opinion, what really keep player playing is clan wars(also for me) there are tones of stratgegy you can use on different type of base you are attacking .

The most awful thing they did was to introduce the 3rd village . For a player like me who has multiple accounts it became very difficult to manage all the acc. I recently started to replay the game and I still don't play that 3rd village . Also from a F2P player like me they made it extremely difficult to coup up with the upcoming town halls

"bringing back old players" hit hard , for more than 10 years since i started to play coc i only played consistently for 2 years but the game has always been on my phone , my screen feels incomplete without it and her im back again in play for a few months, the price and time reduction are the best
I redownloaded after 4 years. For old players here are a number of things I've noticed: No. of days for upgrading has drastically reduced by a whole lot. Troops no longer require elixir - both elixirs for training. Dark elixir is much easier to farm now. Raid village(idk the name lol) is a new feature ig which gives raid medals and we exchange for builder gold-elixir, spells. All this goodies has got me hooked on to the game again. Lmk if I missed something

I think coc needs to change their characters into more realistic look in the game play, they are boxy look more like lego but looks boring.

The most awful thing they did was to introduce the 3rd village . For a player like me who has multiple accounts it became very difficult to manage all the acc. I recently started to replay the game and I still don't play that 3rd village . Also from a F2P player like me they made it extremely difficult to coup up with the upcoming town halls

to be honest, i didn't relise the loot availability changed, I still have three of my builders available, yet I attack usually four times a day plus war
"bringing back old players" hit hard , for more than 10 years since i started to play coc i only played consistently for 2 years but the game has always been on my phone , my screen feels incomplete without it and her im back again in play for a few months, the price and time reduction are the best

I redownloaded after 4 years. For old players here are a number of things I've noticed:
No. of days for upgrading has drastically reduced by a whole lot.
Troops no longer require elixir - both elixirs for training.
Dark elixir is much easier to farm now.
Raid village(idk the name lol) is a new feature ig which gives raid medals and we exchange for builder gold-elixir, spells.
All this goodies has got me hooked on to the game again. Lmk if I missed something
