Well you certainly give me a lightheartedness when I watch your videos. I found your channel at the tag end of the pandemic shutdown and in the midst of my own health issues that keep me kind of “shutdown.” It has helped me so much by inspiring me to get liquitex acrylic gouache and sketchbooks. I love your loose style, your oil paint style, your florals , your paintings of interiors, most of the still life’s… I have one friend that always talks art with me so as soon as she is past a mourning period we’ll meet and I’ll take my iPad to show her your channel. Keep up the good work!
Sandi, I’m watching this 2+ year old video and guess what? YOU are my favorite channel (followed by the couple in Country Life Azerbaijan). I’m happy you stayed with it!
Your channel is my most favorite on UA-cam. I sincerely hope you continue making your videos and sharing your art. Your sincere, generous spirit and authentic presence is powerful good medicine in my life. I’m certain it must be the same for your other viewers. I live alone in a tiny home and feel like I’ve found a new friend, far off in another state but right here hanging out with me in your videos. Your editing is brilliant, full of views of your surroundings, both inside your elegant home and on your breathtakingly beautiful land. Your art and spirit inspire me so much. Deeply grateful for your creative sharing. 🙏🏽
Jasper Lotus Hawkins jasper - goodness gracious what an encouraging message to get from you!!!! I’m so glad these videos can expand creativity outside of your walls. I will most certainly keep making these videos friend!!!! Thank you for taking time to let me know how this channel has impacted you - means more than you know!
If you enjoy putting out content and the editing process, I wouldn’t worry too much about growing your audience. I feel like too often on UA-cam, fan base and sponsorship becomes the focus and drives the production of content. When that happens, it’s inevitable that the quality diminishes and some of that authenticity is lost. I find your videos to be a breath of fresh air and I hope you continue to invite us in to your world and “bits of an artist’s life.”
Well, that's a good word for sure! I really don't even know how to do anything but authentic so I'm sure that will always be the case here. Thank you for this encouraging word - I REALLY REALLY appreciate it!!!
I know this is over a year ago. I am so glad I have found you. Your joy, your paintings are a great therapy for me. I hope that you continue your videos and your inspiration for art and all it entails. Thank you Ms. Sandi
I’ve been searching on UA-cam at almost all kinds of the artists channels, and your style really attracts me in. There’s too many young mainstream artists on UA-cam, but I really love your style and it’s like I love watching your art process and final works. I see how it all ties in together. I also really love your studio style too, not too many plants lol 😆 I love how you’re really playful with colors and your art is very animated. I find it easy to listen to you too!! You’re very concise but also informative! Please don’t stop! Keep making these videos! You’re a gem 💎!
Thank you so much for taking time to let me know you've been enjoying it - really means a lot!!! So glad to have you here! I totally cracked up at "not too many plants"!
Sandi, I am an artist also, and you inspire me so much.I love the process you go through. I love your paintings. You are so real,I just love you! Please dont give up.I think it takes time to develop on youtube.
I love every video you do. I just discovered you in in 2021, but I would have shared when this video was made and have shared about your work too. You inspire and inform and It is worth every minute of sharing your life through UA-cam!! Thank you!!
I have been binge watching you for 2 weeks! Dick Blick boxes have started to come in to my life...again 💸 and you have given me a whole new playful look at creating. I love your mix of videos; process, day in the life, tutorials, etc. I would always love to see more tutorials since I learn so much from you. Don’t you dare go away!!!
Sandi, I'm sorry you're feeling discouraged about slow growth on your channel. It is a bit of a mystery. But like so many have said in the comments, I really value your videos and value YOU! You are doing your part to make the world a bit brighter and more creative, and it means a lot to those of us who look forward to your latest video. I don't have any experience on how to grow your channel, but I am sure it'll happen for you as you keep showing up to put out quality content! And when you do explode, don't forget us!♡ PS I'm working on a video that I can share your channel in.
Awonderful Sheep you’re the best! AND my number one encourager on here! No way would I forget you friend ❤️! Oh my, thank you I’m advance for sharing me IN YOUR OWN CHANNEL 🙌 hip hip hooray!! You keep pumping out that great content too friend! So thankful for you!!!!!
Loved yr water colors. Another thing yr channel brings into our lives is HUMANITY. Warm ,open and kind. What the world needs more of right. Kindred spirits.
I’m so sorry that the channel isn’t growing as fast as you would like hun, I really enjoy them and hope that you’ll keep making them 🥰 the videos are amazing and fun to watch! I will do my part to help you as much as I can, keep on creating! love you your doing great!
I absolutely LOVE your videos! ♥️♥️ Your joy and enthusiasm is so inspiring, and your sheer joy working with paint is contagious (in a good way lol!) Thank you so much for generously sharing your knowledge and your process, I really appreciate what you do, and I've been sharing your videos too 😊
Oh! I am SO grateful that you didn't stop making videos and that I found your channel! The joy, inspiration, and creativity that you and your videos bring to my life is totally priceless to me. Thank you for sharing you and your art journey with all of us 😁
I love your channel and have learned so much from you. I actually started out to be an art therapist about thirty years ago. The world wasn’t ready for art therapists then but now that I’m retired it seems AT’s has come. After watching your videos I have a whole new appreciation for exactly how good art making is for us. Don’t ever stop encouraging people to make art!
Please continue with your wonderful channel! You are my hero. I would love to have your talent and courage! You are a beautiful lady and you are very much appreciated.
Hello from the year 2022! I have been binge watching your channel. I think you have a beautiful energy and a light that shines from within you. I can tell you really love your craft and that joy translates over to your videos. I think you have a great format. I love seeing your studio, your fur babies, your mountain and just all of it. I think that UA-cam is just hard overall because it's just so saturated. But please don't let numbers discourage you. You're doing great! Keep it at it and the rest will follow. Hope this is encouraging. Much love!
I just found your videos on UA-cam and feel so grateful for your generosity, your honesty and your wonder-full art. You are such an inspiration! Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Love the deodorant page and the exercises sketches! I'm also inspired by your painting from your earlier paintings and painting birds over and over again. I've shared your channel with my artist friends as soon as I'd found it because your art is amazing and sooo inspiring! Thank you once again!
I've just discovered your channel and watched a bunch of your videos and I think you are FANTASTIC!! I truly don't know why you aren't bigger on this platform than you are. Also I want your whole wardrobe...
Ohhh man- thank you!!!! Love me some binge watching 😉. It has been really hard to get traction for some reason on UA-cam- I fluctuate feeling like maybe the videos aren’t that good to feeling like I really believe in what I’m creating and I’m going to stick it out and keep making. I love making them soooo much! I REALLY appreciate you taking time to comment ❤️!
Sandi Hester I totally understand how you feel, it’s clear how much time and work it takes to put each video together...but I don’t think by our judgement is wrong that your work and videos are awesome!!
Sandi Hester ha, I’m blushing! It’s been so long since I could post, becoming a mother has taken over quite a lot! I’ve been working on art more than knitting in the last year or so.
Love your channel!! I will share it. Strangely I've been watching them backwards. I started in the latest video and have been making my way back through all of them. I love them, I'm an artist too and you inspire me!
I’ve been going through your videos again. It’s helpful when I just want to get away from the everyday hum drum of life. Good to be reminded to do some physical therapy too! Thanks Sandi😊❤️
Hi Sandy! I appreciate you and your channel so much! You have made a difference in my life and in my art. I tune in a lot, and when I’m feeling a bit down or stressed out, I tune in as well and start feeling better. I know it’s doing the same for others. I just watched another artist’s vlog where they mentioned you were a huge positive influence on her as well. Anyway, sending you a ton of positive energy and love.
This is the second time to watch this video. I love all your videos. They make me happy when I am down and out. I too love the British art shows. Watched a new one tonight. Thanks for all the tips on painting. I am not use to painting loose. I have always been tight with all the detail. Still love it though. So I am struggling with it. Also Sandy I love the new paints. Only used the blue and white. Did not have much time. I hope to get more relaxed with my paintings like you do Sandi one day. 🙂❤
I really love your videos and your style! I so relate to your thoughts on art and how slow it is to grow your channel. I have been working on mine since February. I love yours! Keep it up! I love your studio!
I just found you a few weeks ago and am now watching all your vids now. Love your content. You are so sweet and fun. I get lost watching you and that is what I want. I get inspired. Give it time, I watch Sharon Cullen Art and in the beginning she had very few subscribers but she's grown. I am sharing. LUV U
Awe Rose!!!!! What a sweet comment to get - man alive! I really appreciate you watching and leaving me such an encouraging comment -really really appreciate it!!!!
Found your channel today! New subscriber here!! I have watched so many of your videos today!!! Please keep making these as I love just how natural and real you are!!❤️❤️
Awe - thank you so much and WELCOME!!! Sooooo glad to have you here and I'm thrilled you're enjoying the videos - whoohooo! Thank you for your kind words!
Dont go away.....I have a you tube channel too but it has not grown much....I do it because I love it too. Giving Patreon a go as well. Going to share and hit those likes .....your enjoyment comes through .....and you have succeeded in creating that happy in the midst of all that is happening .....totally know about the deodorant thing thjs past year....it's hard to get motivated. Please know that your videos are so much more than art..this past year they have been time with a fun and happy friend .......I have missed that and time with my friends and family so much thus past year .. ...dont go away....we are there with you on the other side of the camerea. ❤❤❤❤❤
Love this video. I’ll recommend it to my creative friends… btw I got a birdbesafe collar for my cat and it helped so much! It also looks like a renaissance clown collar 😁
Found you through “art haul” search on UA-cam, and I’m just binging all your videos. Love them all, they make me run into my studio to paint and draw with you!
ohhhhhh, I LOVE that these videos make you want to run to your studio -yes! AND, WELCOME!!! So glad to have you here -thank you for the kind comments!I put a new video out every Friday!
My sister lives out in the country and her cat catches mice and brings her and her husband to the dead or trapped mice in exchange for bacon. She'll sometimes sit there and meow with the mouse until someone comes over to get it so she can get her bacon. Thanks for the video and the peek into your studio and pet antics, I'll be sure to share with some friends.
I've just found your channel and really love your content and I cant understand why your channel is growing so slowly because you are so inspiring. Anyway I have just shared with an artist friend and hopefully everyone who is subscribed did and does : )
Bit late I know but found you when I was looking for Art supplies hauls in the UK 🤷🏻♀️ a couple of days ago! love your style and slowly bingeing my way through!
Hi Sandi I am an artist in England. I found you a few days ago and I love your personality you are so fun. I have already subscribed and liked all the videos I have watched but I was so abscessed with binge watching all your videos that I forgot to share. So I have just stopped and shared your how to get loose video as I think that would likely be a popular one :). Thank you for your video's I know it is a lot of work.
Well goodness - thank you soooooo much! I really appreciate the watching, subscribing and of course you liking me enough to share me means sooo much!!! I really really appreciate it!
I've only discovered you tonight by chance! I've watched a few of your videos before this one and I was literally saying to myself WHY HASN'T THIS WOMAN GOT A MILLION FOLLOWERS!!!!! You are amazing, you have this magical space around you, I don't mean just your studio, though that is epic too, but it's all around you and is you, you glow! I'm in Ireland so its middle of the night (artists don't sleep!!) so I will be sharing you all over the place in the morning when I know the normal folk are up and about and not lurking in dark arty corners in the middle of the night like me! I wish you the best for your channel, as I've said I have only just found you and I don't want your channel to go anywhere!!!!! Hope you can stay, míle grá (lots of love in Irish)
MANDY!!!!!! What an encouraging message to get this morning - oh my - I don’t even know what to say but THANK YOU!!! It has been a SLOW crawl of growth around here but in sooooo thankful for the community I do have - you guys are crazy encouraging. Thank you in advance for the sharing - really and truly I can’t thank you enough 🙌❤️
I am not eloquent. So I hope this comes out semi-clearly😃. I was trying to think about why I watch your videos. I think it is just for how you share information. I am trying to stay focused on pencil, colored pencil and watercolors. So I don't want to expand to another area, but I do enjoy hearing how you select color palettes in all these different medias. I also enjoy seeing your journals. I feel inspired by them. I feel that I could try something similar, even as a newer artist. I think the channel growing isn't predictable or defined by talent, charisma, etc. Have you tried polls for your videos? It might be interesting. Thanks for the fun videos! I enjoy them and I just found your channel very recently. Good luck!
Wow - what a compliment to get! I totally get it - being inspired by another medium and it causing you to want to go work in the medium you’re using. Just keep creating!!! I’m so glad you’re finding inspiration here!
Thanks for the inspiration! Sometimes it takes years for channels to grow. People love and always search for "Day in the life" vlogs! Maybe you could try "day in the life of an artist" etc. we gotta remember all our blessings at this time especially. I hate to even think of all the abused women stuck in homes with their abusers, etc etc.😢
I just found your channel via Jeanne Oliver's feature in her story on instagram. I'm in love wiht your Channel! I appreciate all of the hard work and dedication it takes to make these videos. Your energy is contagious, and I feel like I'm wiht you In your gorgeous space. Im happy to have a few minutes of escape in these crazy times ❤️
Goodness what a great message to receive! Somehow I missed it and just now read it - sorry about that! I'm so glad to have you over here on my YT family and I'm thrilled you are enjoying the videos - whoooohooo! Thank you for taking time to let me know you enjoyed them!
@@sandihester of course! ❤️I dont know if it makes a difference with the statistics you can see on UA-cam. But sometimes if I can't finish watching one of your videos and I go to my history it's not there, even though I'd watched it. Maybe something to look into? Not sure if other people have that issue
annevai hmmmm, thank you for letting me know - not sure why that’s happening. I do have that to me sometimes too through with other people’s videos. Thank you for telling me!
I just found your channel & subscribed. ☺ I love your furbabies as well. I also have a cat, & it's always cool to see other people's pets in their videos.
Hi Sandi I don't know if you are still looking to grow your channel, but I have a few suggestions. How about do some live videos where you paint or sketch for an hour or so, most people love live videos. Also a collaboration video with another artist. That way their followers can be introduced to your channel. Also an artist challenge video. In the past you did "blind drawing." Maybe challenge a few other artist to that. Then they can challenge you to do something as well. Also, one of my favorite UA-cam artist Caro Arevalo - I found her channel through her Morning Routine videos. I love Morning Routine videos. You have such a wonderful way of being and you are so talented and sweet I would love to see your channel grow. One last thing maybe you could offer a free half or full hour painting tutorial whenever you get 1000 more subscribers. May your channel grow to whatever size your heart desires.
So I have been watching and enjoying your channel and the couple of things that I think would help might be to 1 as tacky as it sounds ask in each people of they liked it to like and subscribe. Also, simple things like including the word Vlog in the videos that are done over a couple days, people also Love Sketchbook tours. I also loved the couple of aesthetic walks around your gorgeous property's enjoying nature.
I just found your channel when I was searching for gouache videos. But I follow oil painting you tubers for a lot of time. Did you research about tags and UA-cam hashtags?
When you upload your UA-cam video you need to insert an ashtag with the theme of your video so it will be searchable by people. Like #studiovlog #sketchbooktoor #oilpainting. Etc. go quickly add them to your videos!! You deserve a ton more subscribers!
Really? No difference? Well, it won’t hurt. In terms of ranking and searchability every little help is good. I honestly think you can get more subscribers. Research more about UA-cam SEO in websites like hubspot.
I think your space is beautiful, it is wonderful to see how other artists create their creative space. If you enjoy doing your videos - then don't give up, and keep enjoying the process. You are someone I would want to be friends with if I lived in the same area. Even if not in the same area :-) Perhaps you can find me and friend me on FaceBook. Glad the beautiful blue jay bird is ok. I also saw those artists of the year episodes, you may also enjoy: The Forger's Masterclass. Keep painting!
I just dont know who I would share your videos with. As far as I know, none of my friends watch UA-cam. In fact, they think I'm weird because I spend so much time here. I also don't have any 'arty' friends, that's why I watch art videos. I hope you will continue your channel. I j ust found you a couple weeks ago (and I realize you posted this video a year ago). I know it's a lot of work
I do enjoy your videos and you have a fun approachable personality and your art is so fun. So hopefully, you will continue to post and maybe just trust that as you continue to do videos for the sheer joy of doing the videos, over time, things will grow. I remember watching chamberlainpaintings for some time, and he didn't have many viewers, but at one point, his channel just grew.. but one caveat with that.. I think he had his daughter help him, Emma, and she has over 8 million subscribers... maybe that's the secret.. a prodigy child youtuber to help.. ; )
Hello, Sandi! I am a new subscriber here and a recent follower on IG. I found you when I followed a link to your Instagram account via inspiredbycharm’s stories, and then came over here to watch one of your videos. I was immediately engaged by your charm, humility, energy, and genuineness (is that a word?) Whenever I have some free TV time now, I find myself bringing up one of your videos on my youtube app on my apple tv instead of watching Netflix or Prime! I started at the beginning and take notes in a journal. You immediately inspired me to order three good sketchbooks and add a bunch of supplies to my “wish” list. I realized that a big part of what has been keeping me from painting is that I don’t like a bunch of paintings hanging around! Now, they are all in my sketchbook where I can look at them anytime I want but don’t have to look at them when I don’t want to. Such a simple concept, but it was a huge revelation to me. That’s the first thing I would like to thank you for. Secondly, thank you for the detailed sharing of your supplies with colors, and thirdly, thank you for sharing your history as an artist and your daily process (that’s four). Who knew you could wipe off paint and have a redo!? I have never left a comment on UA-cam before, and I am sure this is absolutely inappropriately too long. But I don’t care. After watching this video I just so much want you to know what a valuable resource you are for me, and I’m sure for so many others. I have clicked on the little bell to get notifications, have shared your channel, will continue to watch your videos, and will definitely “like” them. Probably could have just said that and left off the rest. Thank you!
Laurel, ok, first - I cracked up so bad at "absolutely in appropriately too long" - nope, not too long - totally encouraging and I appreciate it sooooooo much!!! What an honor that you'd take notes and take your time to write me here - I really really really appreciate it! It reminds me to keep going and doing what I'm doing.
Hi there just wanted to let you know I'm fairly new to your Channel but I absolutely adore the videos and love sitting to peek into you Creative life feeling inspired to get my own backside back in the chair and get to creating again I really enjoy what you doing so I hope you continue and I have shared your Channel with a few friends as well. Please hang in there, the likes will come and in the meantime thanks for all you do, great job!
My goodness THANK YOU SO MUCH for this encouraging comment! Totally hanging in there and am very committed to continue making these videos - I love it too much! Can I also just say a big THANK YOU for sharing my channel with friends - goodness gracious thank you!
hey i really like your art but with your watercolor do u every outline your stuff so it stands out because i do but i was wondering because i like your work better than mine
No, I never outline it. I do however sometimes sketch it first in a colored pencil (with a color that I think will look good showing through) - I really like my initial mark making (even if it's mess up marks) to show through. I think the outlining is more of an illustrator thing (which I LOVE) but my style doesn't lean in that direction I don't think - I'm a little more raw/mess/loose.
Your videos are just the right fun relaxing tone! You have great video production skills too. Have you considered doing a Skillshare course? I reckon you’d smash that!! I am definitely tuning in during quarantine and will share! 🙏 Thank you!
I wonder if you add to your Title of your Channel, something like: “Sandi Hester: Life of an Artist” then add #artist, #artvloggs, #sandihester, #professionalartist, etc. It might help direct more people to your channel. I have been looking for online artists like this but only found out about you through another UA-camr who is an artist: Ashley Ann… That might help people know that your channel is about art and the process of it.
I am so happy to have found your channel! My husband and I are preparing to take a year off to travel and I came across the packing video. I couldn’t stop watching and have been so inspired. I started a new page on my sketchbook last night to capture some of my favorite stationeries on my desk. 🤗Some of my friends from work also picked up art this year due to the pandemic and I can’t wait to share your channel with them. Thank you for sharing bits of your life! 💕
Lina (love your name btw!) thank you so much for taking time to share this all this with me!!! A year off to travel sounds so fun! Starting now getting in your sketchbook will get your ready to sketch your travels. AND major thank you for sharing my channel ❤️🙌!!! It’s been slow growing over here so I’m always sooooo grateful when people share! So glad to have you here!
Your videos are as good as you think they are. I'm constantly impressed by your video quality and your engaging personaliy. I think vlog channels have extra hurtles in terms of building audience growth as opposed to, say, instructional channels. But cream rises to the top, I don't believe you'll stay stagnant forever if you keep making videos. I wanted to share one thing that I think has been helping me, I'm having oddly high success with art time lapse videos on Pinterest, trickling people over to my UA-cam channel. If you're interested in that let me know and I'll explain a little more what I'm doing over there. It may only be bringing in a couple subscribers per week, but still.
Lyssa, you have been a constant encouragement to me!!! I hadn't considered that vlog channels have extra hurdles - but that's a good point. I also agree with the time lapse thing - on my Instagram those do REALLY well! Thank you for over and over taking time to send me such kindness and love - it goes miles! AND yes, I am going to just continue making them- I love it too much to stop!
@@sandihester Definitely keep at it girl. Yeah, I just thought I'd put that little bug in your brain about Pinterest specifically, I'm blown away by video success there. Good luck!
@@LyssaLynea Ok, so I didn't catch the Pinterest part. Interesting. I've heard of others using Pinterest but I don't even understand how it works. I use Pinterest - but only to tag things I like and that I want to use as reference or inspiration. Give me more info. Are you posting a video with the link to your UA-cam?
@@sandihester Yes, I'm doing extremely well with video pins over there. I'm planning to make a video here about it eventually, maybe you'd be interested in collaborating with me on it? See if we can get you some similar results, think about it and if you'd like to try shoot me an email at sketchyonthedetails@icloud.com. Anyway, the basic breakdown of what I'm doing is I use an app called Filmm (2 m's) to vertically crop the videos. Time lapses from general art practice I'll post and link to my main UA-cam page or to a video where that artwork is shown. Then I'll make a 1 minute shortened teaser version of my full length UA-cam videos and link them to their related videos. I have one UA-cam video specifically what has a few views trickling in everyday, it's the second most popular video I have so far, and analytics say 80% of the views on that video are coming from an external source...which is my most popular pin on Pinterest. Today my Pinterest page is ranking at over 800k monthly viewers, which is INSANE to me. I post a lot of art images as well, but behind the scenes the video pins are bringing ALL the traffic. I was not a big Pinterest user by any means, I hardly opened it before September. Again, let me know if you'd be at all interested in working together on something. Here's my Pinterest page if you want to take a closer look: www.pinterest.com/lyssalynea/
I didn’t know your channel existed or I’d already have been watching! Keep making videos if you love making them! 😁 And yes I will share a video! I’m watching a lot of your videos today because I just found your channel so I’ll pick my fave from what I watch today and share it! 😍
EMI!!!! Wow - what an encouraging message to get - yahooooo! I'm THRILLED you are enjoying them. AND major THANK YOU for sharing - will you let me know which one you end up picking as your favorite? Thanks again Emi!
Found you in March 2024 and am so grateful you've kept going. You are a treasure and a jewel.
We cant do without you. You are so gifted and informative in all areas . Not to mention halariously intertaining .
I love your loose style, your oil paint style, your florals , your paintings of interiors, most of the still life’s…
I have one friend that always talks art with me so as soon as she is past a mourning period we’ll meet and I’ll take my iPad to show her your channel.
Keep up the good work!
So glad you’ve found it inspiring!!!
Sandi, when i started watching you in March this year your numbers were 12000. Now at the end of June your channel has 4000 more subs.!!!!
I know - it’s crazy!
I’m from 2023 and I’m so glad you kept going
I am current with your channel. Now I am revisiting them again because your smile and creative artwork give me joy,
I am watching this in July of 2022. Thank goodness you didn't stop making UA-cam videos in March of 2020! You are a blessing to me:)
Awe - thank you!
This is better than Netflix..you make life and art so comforting and fun...
Sandi, I’m watching this 2+ year old video and guess what? YOU are my favorite channel (followed by the couple in Country Life Azerbaijan). I’m happy you stayed with it!
Thank you 🥰❤️❤️❤️
Your channel is my most favorite on UA-cam.
I continue to tell people about your channel Sandi. Love your tips and sharing of all you learn in your path. Thank you!
Awe - thank you so much Jan!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
you are totally delightful and it ruins my day when I cannot watch you , its so inspiring to watch , love it, thank you tons xxx
Awe - thank you so much!!!
Sandi
Welcome Chris! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos! Thank you for sharing that with me !
Your videos are awesome, I can queue in you and listen as I do my own paintings. You are great on video.
Thanks so much!!!

Thank you Judy! Not giving up - I’ve definitely been growing and I love making these videos! Thank you for your kind words!
I love every video you do. I just discovered you in in 2021, but I would have shared when this video was made and have shared about your work too. You inspire and inform and It is worth every minute of sharing your life through UA-cam!! Thank you!!
Thank you Suzanne!!!
Thank you sooooo much! I’m not going anywhere!

I absolutely LOVE your videos! ♥️♥️ Your joy and enthusiasm is so inspiring, and your sheer joy working with paint is contagious (in a good way lol!) Thank you so much for generously sharing your knowledge and your process, I really appreciate what you do, and I've been sharing your videos too 😊
Awe - thank you SOOOO much - for the kind words and for sharing 🤗🙌❤️
So glad to have found you!! Especially, so glad you're still making videos!!
Not a problem, yeah. I will say how much I enjoy your videos to my friends. When your show comes on, a relaxing atmosphere descends on me.
Oh! I am SO grateful that you didn't stop making videos and that I found your channel! The joy, inspiration, and creativity that you and your videos bring to my life is totally priceless to me. Thank you for sharing you and your art journey with all of us 😁
Awe - thank you Tamara!!!! I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos so much!!!🤗
So glad you kept pumping these out for us‼️
I’m glad too!!! ❤️
I also love the Portrait and Landscape Arist of the Year series.😀
I love your channel and have learned so much from you. I actually started out to be an art therapist about thirty years ago. The world wasn’t ready for art therapists then but now that I’m retired it seems AT’s has come. After watching your videos I have a whole new appreciation for exactly how good art making is for us. Don’t ever stop encouraging people to make art!
Thank you Jan for the kind note!!! I really appreciate it!
Please continue with your wonderful channel! You are my hero. I would love to have your talent and courage! You are a beautiful lady and you are very much appreciated.
Thank you so much Sandy - such a kind comment to get!
Love having you in my studio Sandi. Keep the videos going. Paula from Old Bar Australia
I started painting recently and have been going through your videos from the beginning. You’re influence on me personally is enormous. Thank you!!!
Awe - thank you! What a great comment to get!!!!
Much love!
Thank you Rose! I’m keeping on - I love it too much! Thank you for your kind words!

Awe - I’m so glad to hear that Adrian!!!
Love the deodorant page and the exercises sketches! I'm also inspired by your painting from your earlier paintings and painting birds over and over again. I've shared your channel with my artist friends as soon as I'd found it because your art is amazing and sooo inspiring! Thank you once again!
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I really appreciate that so much!
Well, thank you SOOO much! New video comes out tomorrow- sharing all my favorite colors from every medium I use!!! I’ve been working on it for weeks!
@@LongRideHome29 AND I just went to your channel - you are cute as a button and I love your curly hair!!!!

I love your videos and your positive attitude. So glad I found you.
Thank you so much Beth!!
Love your channel!! I will share it. Strangely I've been watching them backwards. I started in the latest video and have been making my way back through all of them. I love them, I'm an artist too and you inspire me!
Thank you Jazmin! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the channel and finding some inspiration here 🤗
I’ve been going through your videos again. It’s helpful when I just want to get away from the everyday hum drum of life. Good to be reminded to do some physical therapy too!
Thanks Sandi😊❤️
🥰
Well goodness!!! Thank you so much for the kind and encouraging comment. I really appreciate it! Who was the UA-camr that mentioned me?
Do you still need this? Let me know I can post it in my Instagram. Let me know
That would be awesome!
and your art ... omw amazing
I’m glad you liked the paints!!!
Since I started following just a couple of weeks ago, I've watched your channel grow from 4.6K to 4.99K! Almost 5K! Any moment now! :) Woohoo!!!

Ohhhh, AND WELCOME!
So true! Good tip - thank you!!
Love your overalls….where can I find?
Thank you! Can’t remember what I was wearing In this video. Jeans: Levi’s, striped: deluth

@@sandihester you're very welcome! 😻😊
Before I watched this I shared it with my aunt
She told me she is already following you and you got her into gouache lol
Great tips Cherry! Thank you ❤️
I just shared your page here to my Facebook.
Thank you Dawn
I really didn’t think the bird was gonna make it.
This cracked me up 😂
So I have been watching and enjoying your channel and the couple of things that I think would help might be to 1 as tacky as it sounds ask in each people of they liked it to like and subscribe. Also, simple things like including the word Vlog in the videos that are done over a couple days, people also Love Sketchbook tours. I also loved the couple of aesthetic walks around your gorgeous property's enjoying nature.
Thanks for the tips!
I just found your channel when I was searching for gouache videos. But I follow oil painting you tubers for a lot of time. Did you research about tags and UA-cam hashtags?
Welcome!!! I didn't do a lot of research on tags - why do you ask?
When you upload your UA-cam video you need to insert an ashtag with the theme of your video so it will be searchable by people. Like #studiovlog #sketchbooktoor #oilpainting. Etc. go quickly add them to your videos!! You deserve a ton more subscribers!
@@CristinaDias7 that’s interesting. Do you mean in the tags area? I stopped adding tags because my research showed it really didn’t make a difference
Really? No difference? Well, it won’t hurt. In terms of ranking and searchability every little help is good. I honestly think you can get more subscribers. Research more about UA-cam SEO in websites like hubspot.
@@CristinaDias7 Ok! Yea, I feel like I should have more subs too - it's been a sssslllloooowww growth.
P.S. Where did you get those cute overalls??

I think your space is beautiful, it is wonderful to see how other artists create their creative space. If you enjoy doing your videos - then don't give up, and keep enjoying the process. You are someone I would want to be friends with if I lived in the same area. Even if not in the same area :-) Perhaps you can find me and friend me on FaceBook. Glad the beautiful blue jay bird is ok. I also saw those artists of the year episodes, you may also enjoy: The Forger's Masterclass. Keep painting!

It is growing!!!! I’m soooo grateful for that!!! Thanks for noticing!
I know it's a lot of work
That's totally fine Patty! I'm keeping on! Things are growing here and I love making these so much! Thanks for watching!
I think he had his daughter help him, Emma, and she has over 8 million subscribers... maybe that's the secret.. a prodigy child youtuber to help.. ; )
J Marie 😂 only have 4 legged furry kids - don’t think they’ll be any help! Thank you for watching and encouraging me!!! Really appreciate the comment!
Just found about you Sandi, new subbie here, came from Mel Chadwick
Michelle - I'm so happy to have you here!!!! Big fan of Mel's! Thanks so much for subscribing - whooohoooo!
Nooo dont give stop, love your channel and I just found it in 2022! I blame the algorithym :(
I didn’t stop and I don’t plan to 🤗
Hi there just wanted to let you know I'm fairly new to your Channel but I absolutely adore the videos and love sitting to peek into you Creative life feeling inspired to get my own backside back in the chair and get to creating again
I really enjoy what you doing so I hope you continue and I have shared your Channel with a few friends as well.
Also the “deotorent” is cracking me up. That is exactly the kind of thing I would do!
I have considered a Skillshare course! May do that in the future - for now I love doing these less perfect style videos! Thank you Katherine!
Curious?! Any company hunt you down?! I'd hire you if I sold anything! 🥰❤️
🥰 thank you!
Due let me know if the deotorant co needs a model two!
Grady Hester haha grady!
