Hopefully they'll do what Virgin did. Free parking and no resort fee.
There’s a resort fee. It’s $45 a night plus sales tax. Self parking is free for hotel guests. I cannot find anything confirming it is free for those without hotel reservations at this time.
Judging from the room rates at the three hotels in Resorts World, it's no different than staying at the Aria or the Venetian. Nothing new here.
OLD HOTELS STILL CHARGE PARKING FEE AND RESORT FEE ...WHY DO YOU THINK NEW HOTEL DONT DO THAT?????....NEW HOTEL COST MORE AND MORE OVERHEAD AND THEY HAVE TO CHARGE YOU MORE ....FYI
Free parking for everyone at resort world.
@@Kathy-22 free parking for now. Pay stations have been installed and are powered on.
RW will most definitely fill in that void in between the Stratosphere and the rest of the Strip. Plus, it's brand new with lots of amenities. One thing about LV, it's all about going over the top. And, it looks like RW fits the bill.
I can’t wait to stay there when it’s open 😍
Pompsie! Great to see you and Jacob as you’re THEEEE best Vegas bloggers!
I’m very excited about it! I feel like the casino shops and all that is going to be very difficult and confusing to maneuver around since it’s so big. I’m interested to go on that 66th floor bar thing too!
Rooms are crazy!! I work there... it’s the best casino on the strip just wait and see
@@officialsnackgod5702 Can you win there, or is it already set to suck your wallet dry?
500 TO 1K A NIGHT IF U HAVE THE MULAAAA....UNLESS THEY GIVE YOU A FREE NIGHT BCUZ YOU ARE A YOU TUBER .
The one thing they’ve got going for them is that they are the first new nice resort casino in a number of years and many of the other casinos (Tropicana, Luxor, Circus Circus, Excalibur, Treasure Island and even Mirage) are getting old and tired. People will flock to this place if it’s super nice and a pleasant place to be with a lot of stuff to do.
And RW has turned out to be an overpriced shopping mall. Back to Excalibur and Mirage for me
LV needs to get tough on homelessness. It affects the safety of tourists
LV is a dump... You can't prevent homelessness in that city. Anywhere by and around downtown/strip is a rough crowd, I've lived there for a few years and I have no intention of ever going back.
There are plenty of resources for the homeless in Las Vegas-it’s not for lack of effort. Some people choose to live that way and this is a good place to do it.
LAS VEGAS MAYOR SHE SEEMS DUMB AS A ROCK AND CUCU ...DURING COVID 2020 , SHE DOESNT KNOW WHAT DA HELL GOING ON ...SAD !
@SECAL02 It's not worse there, it's just on a larger scale. You are comparing a population of 2.5 million las vegans to much larger cities... not to mention those cities are very close to other cities, it's not as secluded as vegas.
I stand with what I said, LV is a dump. Their needs to be a tough local government to really turn LV around. The lawlessness and violence is as high as it has ever been and it really brings good communities down because of how easily crime travels in such a small city.
come to houston Las Vegas has nothing on us lmaooo
Great video Jacob! I’m rooting for Resorts World. The north end of the strip needs a little love and could be an anchor for future projects up there.
Thank you VJ!
I hope Resorts World revives the north end of the Las Vegas strip. I also hope the Drew will one day open
It most likely be Fountainebleau Vegas .it was bought out.
@Doesn't Jump to conclusions Show proof of this. Its been bought out from the guy who wanted to name it Drew after his son.
@talkingspongewithaweirdface Last I heard, it was "scheduled" to open in late 2023. If that were true, you'd see construction crews working there now, today.
Its opening in Summer 2042
Dennys and the Peppermill will be a game changer lol.
I love the Peppermill
Peppermill is classic Vegas!
@@bobbowie9350 Me, too! After visiting the big, cold mega resorts, I go to the Peppermill for that REAL Las Vegas feel! Food's great, too!
Honestly, the timing of completing the Resort as soon as the shutdown from the Pandemic is over is going to draw even more attention to the launch. Vegas is back & Resorts World is the perfect way to show that.
If you think the lines to eat at El Gordo tacqueria are long now, just wait.
Exactly! They have great tacos!
Different clientele at Resorts World. $300 a room.
El Gordo is the best!
@@Icarusvampire no they don't lol
@@Dept246 wrong. All types of people eat those tacos.
I think Resorts World will be just fine, even being at the far end of the strip. I mean, if Circus Circus can stay in business right there.....and I'll leave it at that LMFAO!
Circus Circus is the cheapest room you could find that is still relatively close to the strip. That's the only reason it stayed in business.
HE S JUST A WHINNING AND COMPLAINNING PERSON ...I THINK HE IS OCD .
LOOK AT RESORT WORLD TODAY ...ITS HUGE ...WHAT IS HE GOING TO SAY ABOUT THAT ...HUHHHHHH
I work for this company, I have for a while, They hired us over a year ago, Genting is so much bigger than just this place, Highlands has their own police force, multiple casinos, 4 amusement parks, the portfolio of this company stretches from cruise lines, casinos, resorts, bio engineering, and so much more, this place will be great, but everyone will just have to wait and see 😁
Awesome. I stayed at resort world last week. Good food, nice room, beautiful pool, and great service. I loved the resort world casino.
What does the bio engineering entail?
I hope Resorts World is a big hit. It would be a huge shame if it busts after all the work that went into building it all these years
I hope so too. Good luck resort world casino
I don't mind the location, I'm more interested in knowing what they will offer, in terms of restaurants, stores, entertainment, rewards etc.
Agreed about competition! After staying at Venetian/Palazzo, it's hard to imagine staying anywhere else. The food at Venetian/Palazzo is outrageously good.
The design of venetian is still impressive.
Bouchon bistro 😥
Palazzo was always my favorite room in Vegas. Venetian has better gambling but you can walk between without going outside.
How rich are you? Normal people don’t pay for expensive food
Love your videos bro, I work 6 days a week 12 hours a day and try to watch as many as possible. Thanks for keeping me entertained on my days off!
Jacob “OG” Orth.
Often imitated, never duplicated.
I wonder how many hours I’ve watched over the years. Lol
Wynn and RW are going to be destinations on that part of the strip.
RW filling that space is fantastic for the city.
Couldn't be at a more perfect spot imo
They need to clean up the seemingly constant road construction. It’s a mess for the big opening.
It will be interesting to see how well Resorts World, does. The field is fairly crowded now and business is just picking back up to a more normal realm. Thank you for the update on this new and very BIG Property!
Honestly speaking, I find the original concept of a Chinese-themed concept better and more impressive. The current design is no match for cosmopolitan or Wynn/Encore. There is nothing unique about the building apart from the LED panel. Quite disappointed with it but hopefully it will be a hit to rejuvenate the north end of the strip!
Flying over, the resorts world draws the eye due to its unique and vibrant color
@Doesn't Jump to conclusions , they change the concept because of covid. They were afraid of not getting customers because covid begin in China. It’s understandable
I always liked staying at the Bellagio, Bally’s/Paris part of the Strip. Most of the major casinos and restaurants are there or within walking distance.
Just think of all the high rollers Resorts World will pull from Circus Circus, they can't lose
Lol.
😂😂🤧😂
Yea think of all the high rollers Circus Circus gunna pull from Resorts World...
Cant beat the basement buffet for sure
Unless Resorts World screws up their unveiling like the Virgin did, they'll be fine. I dont like the location because other properties are too far away. But if they promote, treat customers right, and offer top of the line entertainment, it will be a success.
And they will. Resorts world and Hilton are well known brands and both combined have a loyal following base.
man when Jacob mentioned I think it was a hotel, casino and an arena, I couldn't believe it ! how many arenas does Vegas have already? 4?
So the rich are really not afraid of the virus.
@@SirManfly Overextended. More conventions will offer digital viewing. It is no longer necessary to travel to vegas for conventions.
@@eduardochavacano Worriers need to stay home and collect unemployment payments.
They should consider doing a shuttle. Pick up tourists around the strip and Fremont
They have been trying to expand and build that location for some years now and I think this will do it! This will just set up that part of Vegas to expand with nice, big hotels and I am excited for it!!
Resorts World is surrounded by top of the line establishments like....Slots-O-fun, Denny's, Circus-Circus, McDonald's, Luna Hookah Lounge, Official Las Vegas Welcome Shop, and high class Lawyer Billboards.
I hope their Marketing Team is coming up with a really good program to attract their target audience and to put the emphasis on the customer experience/service so they keep coming back.
Resort world are hilton brand properties that offer employees rates of $45, I know where to stay now.
They wont be offering that $45 employee rate for a long while. My GF works at Tropicana and they're partners with Hilton also. As of last week they werent offering any employee rates...
I think a big hurdle initially will be as a more internationally recognized brand, a lot of their customers would be international as well but for travel restrictions.
Once restrictions loosen up, it will help them pull in international visitors who are more familiar and loyal to the brand.
Great video Jacob! Piggybacking off of your point about the somewhat less than desirable location, as an occasional Vegas visitor I would prefer to be some place where I'm more central and can walk to the Link promenade or check out other casinos that are more towards the center of the strip, it feels like Resorts World is set up to try to keep everybody there spending money within their mega complex and that doesn't appeal to me much. Being so enormous and far away from the central strip are actually negatives, but perhaps I'm not their target audience. 🤔
I kind of agree. Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo also try to keep their customers on their premises as much as possible because pretty much every other resort is Caesars or MGM. Even if you have a particular preference for a property nobody stays in one place for a whole weekend, let alone the Convention/ International visitors who are there for a week or more.
If it’s nice, and upscale like Bellagio and Wynn it should do well. If it’s another Planet Hollywood or Bally’s, not so much.
Their advantage is people won’t walk to the other hotels to spend their gambling / dining money. It’s strategically inconvenient.
Another great video,! Jacob, gracias señor!!!
its on the old STARDUST grounds which is hallowed ground. That is huge IMO. Ahuge amount of people have long time 60s-70s-80s Vegas memories from this section of the strip, Desert Inn, Sands, Frontier, Stardust, Riveria, Sahara, Landmark, LV Hilton, Slots o fun, Westard Ho, Circus Circus were all in this northern section of the strip or just off it. All the expansion of the Vegas Strip has been going south last 30 some yrs leaving this section. I Remember long ago when the Airport sat almost all by itself 10 miles away from most of the main strip.
So did I hear you say -“Mande?” to the person shouting at you? Nice bilingual too! ❤️
Sí, yo dije "Mande?" 🙃
Mmmmm sexyyy af 🙌 get it
Look at you with the "mande". That brought a big smile to my face.
I would think that opening the casino without all the establishments inside finished may mean that investors are anxious to get their money back.
Usually when you start a new job in a new place everything is a mess. When I tell you they were so organized with us getting our uniforms and getting all of our personal information, I was blown away. I can’t wait to start work on June 1st. And have our soft opening on the 24th
YES THAT PLACE IS MASSIVE
And so beautiful inside. You guys will love it
When will benopen for the public?

To one of your points, the casino's here in Southern California are full of gamblers every single weekend. And for the most part they are medium to high rollers. It's much easier to drive 2 hours from LA to San Diego or Palm Springs than the 4 (sometimes 5 or 6 hour) trip to Vegas. I think RW will do great in the short term. However, once the newness of it wears off they are going to have to hustle to get and keep regular players in the long run.
The biggest negative is the location. Not a quick easy walk to get to another casino like mid strip
That's why you take the SDX
THIS LOCATION FOR PEOPLE DONT WANT TO BE AROUND CRAZY STUPID CROWD....
I booked a one night stay at Resorts World a few days past the official opening to see what it’s like, before moving on to the resort I’m spending the rest of my vacation at. I hope I didn’t make a mistake and it will be a good experience.
Competition from the Wynn will be difficult for them!
Especially if the Wynn West extension goes through. Before the pademic I read that the Wynn planned to extend across the Boulevard onto the former Frontier by ways of an indoor pedestrian bridge. This project was called Wynn West.
I just saw this . I was in Vegas twice since this video . I was there in November 2021 and Jan- Feb 2022 . I didn’t even know it was there. I wish I would have. Stayed at the Aria both time. The Bellagio twice before . Walked a lot ubered to Fremont Street . And visited the Wynn and many others . Went to the stratosphere . I rode the high roller . Even helicopterd with Maverick . But admittedly this was missed by me. Oops
I would go to resorts world before I would stay at the Virgin hotel.
The Virgin is run by Mohegan Sun. That's why it will be a complete failure and RW will not.
Virgin is the next lucky dragon
Virgin is in a lousy area. Who goes to Harmon and Paradise for anything?
@@DixiePokerAce no one who is half way smart
And make you pay for your drinks
Any casino not on the strip needs to cater to locals, so Virgin hotel should offer European roulette (1 zero, no double zero), Single deck blackjack pays 3 to 2 low bet, better odds in the slots, better comps, no resort fee, free valet (like it used to be everywhere), etc.
I've stayed at multiple resorts on the east coast. None of them compare to Las Vegas.
Call me an old man but the cost of Vegas just isn't worth it anymore. Too many fees (resort, parking etc.) and it has become very corporatized, it lost its charm in my opinion. I'd much rather take that money to Miami if it is a weekend trip. Hell, I could fly out to Mexico City and have a better time and still spend less (think cost of drinks, food and activities).
You'd easily go through $1,500 in Vegas in 3 days, that's a round trip ticket plus hotel to most european countries for a week.
If they don't fix that dan street you're walking on Resorts World will never open.
You're giving those ambulance chasing lawyers a lot of free advertising.
Mega resort - to pull in the regular visitor, provide free items that the other resorts are charging i.e. free parking for hotel and restaurant guests, offer last minute discounted room rate, and/or create theme entertainment months with giveaways.
Local casinos are training ground for people who want to go to Vegas but feel intimidated over gambling for the first time in Vegas. The CEO of Cesar's main company says they are seeing their smaller casinos as feeders to Vegas. They have the host in a smaller casino contact a host in Vegas and they keep the gambler in-house. I don't think you can judge their future until about two to three years when the "new" wears off.
Just checked the Hilton website and the room has a fridge where others don't which could be a plus. Also free parking!! No more going to Planet Hollywood for free parking haha.
Just came back from LV and it’s rockin , especially Fremont which is a more festive vibe than the strip.
I think resorts will benefit from Vegas being the number one destination this year
I also noticed a lot of new apartments in the downtown area and I believe Circa is the beginning of strip like properties downtown.
@Andrew Right, it is less than 800 rooms. You won't see Strip-like properties on Fremont. You just don't have the room. Circa is a really nice place but downtown is its own thing, completely different from the Strip.
Staying in Resorts World next week. We have been loyal Wynn guests since 2008 when we got married there, but Resorts World was half the price for this stay. Hoping it’s a great stay.
the strat, sahara and circus circus are all north off the strip and have survived, i think resorts world will be a great success,
All of them are penny pinchers resorts...RW will have different crowd...if RW will survive, it will only help surrounding hotels and businesses in the long run 🙂
If they can build their own village of casinos like MGM and Caesars did on the North end, then they can have sustained success. This of course is a very MACRO and long term persepctive. They will struggle, but if they can keep their head above water while adding properties around them...it will be wins for the consumers for sure with tons of competition.
I think you're right about international travel. SInce RW has an established customer based overseas a lot of those customers will flock over once things open up for travel.
Maybe that will make Circus Circus update their hotel
Jacob: The whole backdrop of your video was kinda obvious: The deconstruction of Las Vegas Blvd. If Resorts World opens next month completely done but with the adjoining street in disrepair it will severely impact the opening. What have you heard about Las Vegas Blvd. being done with repaving, etc.?
Was gonna say the same thing - was there in April & that road construction which runs up to Stratosphere is a real PITA!
I think what you're seeing there is the tunnel under construction. Anyone who has traveled between downtown and the strip more than once should know, you don't drive up Las Vegas Blvd to get to the strip, you take Paradise and then take Spring Mtn or Flamingo or Trop.
Will that construction outside be cleared up by the time Resorts World opens?
I doubt it. Las Vegas Bvld from Spring Mt to the Strat is is a mess right now. I dont see it be completed any time soon..
No. Been gping on for 4 years...ability to walk or drive into a hole and die
It's not really that far north on the Strip. The property starts basically across from the Encore and less than a block from Fashion Mall and TI/Spring Mountain
That hotel is NOT ready for a June opening. Way too much construction, and equipment all around and lots of areas on the property won't be opened for a few more months as well. Unlike Circa that opened the casino before the hotel, the construction around it was done at least.
I think it will do fine. I just think vegas in general has gotten too expensive for too many things. The cost of going there is almost not worth it.
It's all supply and demand. There's clearly enough money for the town to keep operating as it is, plenty of rich people in the world.
They are located across the street from the Peppermill. They will be 🙂 👌 🤣😂
And Tacos el Gordo 🤣
They were smart to land Celine, she's a major draw.
She was great at Ceasar's. Saw that show twice 🤩
Their location is great for people just attending festivals ~
Resorts World will do just fine. RW is a known and trusted brand in Asia that attracts, flies in, and caters to many high rollers. It also attracts plenty of mid-roller Asian gamblers in the US. Even Virgin with its opening day flops is overcoming it. I think once everything is already built and running it will be even better. The main challenges will be getting the Hawker food center opened and getting the road construction finished. If you ever get a chance to visit Macau, it's even better than Vegas.
finally a video i can watch.. cause all your livestreams are deadstreams when i get home to watch
Love the dichotomy of you talking about gambling both in Vegas and locally, with a big billboard for a bankruptcy lawyer behind you about 8 minutes into the video
😂
The shear fact that it has Hilton hotels is a huge plus. Only a couple of those in Vegas and will draw points users.
I think it will be interesting once the fall/winter hits and what happens after that. I think Vegas will always be a “destination” (just like Florida is which is where we live) I think once the economy does whatever it is going to do and once conventions come back it will be the true measure of how it all washes out. Right now everyone just wants out and wants to have fun after the world events for more than a year.
I think if they add maybe 1 or 2 more new Resort/Casinos in that area, clear out some of the shady lots/buildings in that area. Then more people will feel safe walking up that far north of Center Strip
All Resorts World has to do is NOT charge a Resort Fee and advertise this. Everyone would want to go there. It doesn't matter if they raise the room rate the $40+ Dollars, just DON'T tac on the fee!!!
I’ll be back in Vegas as soon as Australia opens the borders,I don’t think it will be till late next year or early 2023,if I have to I’ll stay that end of the strip,I don’t care, just want to be back there 💗
Let's hope it'll be the end of 2022 I can't wait to be back in Las Vegas too.
Are there any casinos in Australia? If so, which is the most popular one?🤔
@@chrismunoz999 Crown Casino in Melbourne is probably the biggest. awesome food there!!
@@chrismunoz999 yes,we have casinos,I’m in Sydney and we have one casino and one pending a gaming licence,I love our casino but certainly nothing like Vegas.there are casinos in most states of Australia
If resorts world can offer good comps then I don’t see them having a problem. It’s not that far from the Wynn, and people will stay farther down the strip for better deals. My host is leaving cosmo for resorts so I’ll stay a few times. I’m told they will treat higher limit players better then other strop properties. My friend lost 35k a Wynn few months ago, and after 2 days they said no more comps since no play for 2 days 😂
Very interesting take on Resorts World . Good job.
Thanks Ann!
Great job!
Thanks Olivia!
You even get shout outs on your recorded vids Jacob! Thanks for the content. Looking forward to checking out this place.
You're welcome Winston 😊
Circus Circus is THE BEST
Las Vegas to me is driving people away especially with the gambling used to be reasonable to go to Vegas food was inexpensive comps were decent fees were unheard of now its one fee after another, recall a time when you could get 24 hours of buffets for $29.00 among like 6 properties now for 1 its $69.00 fees are more than the room costs
i think conventions will play a big role in its success. If conventions come back, and If we can get all these new tourists in LV, im sure they will naturally want to check out Resorts World.
It’ll do well as soon as those prices come down. There are plenty of other properties to stay at, with a better location, at the same or better room rates. As soon as that area gets built up tho...they’ll be cruising!!
Circus circus needs to go or needs to be completely remodeled lol The strat looks different than what it did before, Sahara looks nice and then you have circus circus as dull as can be 😂
Good product placement for Ed Bernstein the Lawyer. Is he sponsoring this video? Thank you for the video sir.
Resorts World is beautifully they need to keep free parking for me I'll lose gambling and then have to pay for parking too
6:15 - Las Vegas was the place to come for gambling because it was the city of sin for adults to be adults around other adults. Now it's been taken over by strollers and toddlers. It's a buzz kill.
If Resorts World fails it will be because the room booking managers are not very helpful or friendly. At least, the Pepper Mill is just across the Street.
On a fundamental level, South-Mid Strip is a connected flow of casinos, shops, attractions, experiences that keeps people situated there (Bellagio fountains, M&M/Coke/Hershey, MGM with its arena and Top Golf, Hawaiian Market place, City Center, various famous restaurants, Casino Royale being a long casino that fills a good amount of area between larger casinos, High Roller, Flamingo/Linq Promenade, etc etc). The real question is: How will Resorts World/LVCC add to that flow or capitalize on a new trend or design an attraction to actually MOVE people from south to north strip? It needs fluidity, not just casinos far apart and sketchy shops in between or barricades for projects that owners are afraid to pour money into. It needs cohesion. For example, Sahara back in the day and currently has never been full capacity. Even worse, one of the towers is still closed. Lol. It'd be a real investment if Circus Circus actually fleshed out their anemic Waterpark into an old skool style Wet'n'wild again on the strip. Vegas should lessen some of their political zoning and tape to increase demand for North strip to create more competition and make it more of a popular area. If it wasn't for the Strat, the complete north end would be a junk pile, with the exception of downtown. It just needs a true change on the north end, mirroring the southern end, to enact a livelier strip with more fun, entertainment and engagement.
Are you the famous actor? If you are I love your acting 🎭 & movies.
you could fit my entire downtown inside some of these mega LV resorts , and still have room left over !
A huuuuuuuge turn off is empty space not being used in a casino resort ..makes the largeness an irony ...nothing kills a casino more than empty space!!!
Ed Bernstein owes you a lunch.
😆
Coming soon, Ed Bernstein vlogging on the strip with a billboard of Jacob Worth’s face next to “Vlog?” In the background
See if Glen Lerner or Golightly, will outbid
I prefer Laughlin over Vegas I love the river fresh air n old times feel next freemont next strip I loved the old Sahara 1990s
The location will hurt in terms of people just waking in because it is close, which is the only reason any of us have been to Excalibur. However, I think they will be able to attract higher end guests who want to stay in one place for most of the trip. That means they will have access to 100% of their vacation budget once they check in. I’m sure it will be hard to find tables under $25 on weekends and evenings.
Very interesting story Jacob and perspective. Good job👍!
Thank you Pamela!
RW is opening one month too late...right now it would be a bomb...this is like GRAND re OPENING of LAS VEGAS 🤷♂️
I think brand is what creates a lot of the pull. Paris, Luxor, Bellagio, and others, have clear themes that plays to people’s idea of fantasy and imagination. Resort World has a confusing brand of multiple properties in one and it is unclear what would draw someone to go there.
RW will be a huge success. People want to use their Hilton rewards at a major LV property, Or put it on their rewards when coming to a convention. So it will dominate the convention business. The location isn't much different than the Encore as far as "North vs South". People don't hop around anymore to get a 99 cent hotdog. The RW venues and restaurants and amenities are some of the best on the strip. It will draw huge from international travel (albeit after Covid retrictions). Additional strip rooms will drive down hotel rates across the strip, which is a good thing for Vegas. Plus MGM dominates the lower strip and nickel and dimes customers who have had it. Even high rollers at Bellagio are complaining. Give them a better choice and they will jump. Lastly, a Casino in Chicago is just a place to put in quarters in a slot machine. Vegas is a vacation, even if you attend a convention.
You should have a 5 reasons Tuesdays. Love your content Jacob. Better than the rest…
Thank you Danny!
Next to my favorite The Peppermill
The fact that they decided to name it Resorts World is so cringey. It reminds me of Wally World- I just can't take a casino with a name like that seriously.
