Afghanistan now is back in Taliban's hands unfortunately and the Middle-East is a mess. It's not the fault of people that served to protect their countries and bring democracy, so I don't mean this in a disrespectful way to veterans, I just don't think these wars made US safer, or stopped Islamic terrorism, even if soldiers did their best under horrible circumstances. I find it nuts how the Taliban have the power they do. They are a poorly run group of sheep herders, yet, somehow managed to take over an entire nation with little/no resistance and many of the men trained to stop that, just defeated anyway as, bar my prior point, they would rather be under a regime that protects their false views to people, women and rules. Why would you want a westernized freedom of liberation when you're being promised exponential power, control and a pick of whatever women you like.
@@Marius_vanderLubbe bro you sound dumb as hell, he didn’t choose to send troops over there he was one of the troops. If you don’t like him you shouldn’t like any American. He’s the definition of an American, we won’t lose.
@@Marius_vanderLubbe everybody’s got an opinion just like everyone has an asshole but everybody keeps it to them selves.
Thank you for your service!
feeling like you havent done enough to validate the stuff you've been through is fuckedddd.A long journey ahead but so much respect and love goes to you. i felt this take, deep.
Please pass on a thank you to Glennon for taking the time and energy to recount his experience in service. It serves for a the good of other veterans and civilians to have a better understanding and connection. Veterans build and bring a lot of good to those around them and deserve the same in kind.
Did more than enough when you volunteered your life to this country. Thank you
Respect to you for going through your experiences. Expressing all of it after so much supression is tough. I hope you continue healing and that you find the purpose for which Jesus created you.
Thank you for your story, truly. ❤

“I kept my eyes up and I smoked a cigarette” is the most bad ass thing I’ve ever heard in my life.

Very stupid...what's bad ass about that
@@marwanmunywoki414you would have stared at your arm or what
@@Shmyrk yes. It would have been so absurd to see your arm in such a state that you should get a good laugh out of it.
I don't even know what this channel is about, but I cried and subbed within the first minute. We are so screwed.
Thank you for describing your experience. ✌️
God bless you brother, you ain't alone, glad you're on the right track
My dad was a WW2 paratrooper and in my eyes he could do no wrong. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your service and sacrifice for our great country! 💜🇺🇸💜
