Have thoroughly enjoyed your videos. I recently got a spiral perm on 12.30 it’s the 1st now (happy new years) but either way i have questioned the dos and don’t s and how it looked leaving salon vs how it looks now after 48 hours, and your video helped ensure I’m doing everything right so far. 🤞🤞 fingers crossed it turns out beautifully.

But why do they call it a "spiral curl" if there aren't actual curls?! 🤔 In wig-lingo, this is something between "body wave" and "water wave".
My daughter's hair is curly. I mean, real curls, that you can put your finger in, and that spring back to coils when you pull them.
So My hair is shorter about to my shoulders and somewhat layered & thick. do you have any recommendations for me? I would really appreciate it
I LOOOOVE your perm the first and last perm I ever had was when I was in 8th grade. Half my hair is bleached still from last June..... I’ve debated about getting a perm again but I just am too nervous about it ! I have really thin/fine hair. But yours is gorgeous!!
I have used curly sexy hair in my permed hair everyday for the last 2 years!!!! I love it!!! I also use John Freda daily styling spray... It has hold but yet makes it look like natural hair!! And no frizz!!

The curls look great on you! I am really considering a perm, but I am afraid that my hair will shrink up too much for my liking. Did you have any length cut off of yours or did it just shrink up some from the curls? Thanks!
thanks so much! To be honest, I've never noticed a length change after getting a perm. Before I got my first perm, I was also scared of the same thing. After getting my first perm, I was SHOCKED to see that my hair length didnt noticeably change!
Do you have any issue with the spiral perm being "frizzy" or fluffed out with no real "curl" cause that happened when I got my "curls" permed in :( its frustrating!

I was watching THe process vídeo and I noticed that she rolls THe hair on THe same place on THe rod but in another vídeo of yours she rolls them all over THe lenght of THe rod so I was wondering which result did you like THe most?

I guess I live under a rock cus I thought ppl no longer did perms cus of ALL the chemicals and the harshness that is done 2 your hair - and yep I had a perm BACK in 92' - lol - your hair looks good both ways 💕👍🏼💕

Hello. I wanted to thank you for your permed videos and stuff lol I recently got a perm and I love it (even though a lot of my hair didn't perm it was like that right even right after the perm, but she said to come back and we can look at the heath of my hair and see if we can try again. lol)
It was very hard to choose product for my hair cuz I dont use any besides shampoo and condition. I almost gave up and seen this cream called L'Oreal curve it curl cream and thus far I like it. It put a very nice shine to my hair and defines it and don't give a crunchy fill to it and it totally takes the frizz out of my hair. Seen some videos of it not doing that with others but it seems to work for my hair.
Is there any other creams that you would suggest? I seen the one in the video, but would like a list of different ones you have had (if you have anyway) And any other products that you think won’t weigh my hair down cuz of how fine it is? Your hair in this video is super thick compared to mine before my perm lol

Hi! thanks so much! It is ok to perm your hair. Just make sure you wait at least 3-6 weeks after dying your hair before u get the perm.

yes it will work. If you recently used bleach, just wait a few months. Your hair will still curl, but unbleached hair definitely curls better!
so as long as you have a perm ...you can't blow dry it???

Did the perm ever make your hair ruined and feel brittle? Did the perm do alot of damage to it? Anyone who has had a perm then please respond:)
I'm a male and got a perm about a year ago and one thing did was didn't wash my hair till the 4th day and when I did I don't think I use soap and i was super gentle. The person who did my perm told me not to put any oils in it for about 2-3 weeks. I would also recommended buying things to keep your hair healthy. Now that it's almost been a year my roots are straight so I do something called "Bantu knots" to kinds curl my roots and yeahhh....

Did you put any gel or oil or any hair products in your hair right after your perm. I got a perm and my hair styler cut my hair and put hair products right after my perm and my curls weren't as pretty and bounce, I don't know but I think it was because my hair styler touch my hair too much and put a lot of products, maybe he didn't let the perm set, like you said not to touch it. What do you think it happened? Can you ask you sister? Maybe she knows.
my sister did put a mousse in my hair right after the perm. She gently scrunched the product into my hair. She didnt comb it, brush it or cut it. Did your stylist brush through your hair as he cut it? maybe that's why. My sister always cuts my hair before the perm.
hi there! I want to get a curly perm, and my hair is virgin hair, all really healthy minus like the very ends of the front of my hair from straightening, I've been deep conditioning it for a week now to prep for the perm do you think it will be ok ?

What about the important question of do I wash my hair before a perm or do I need to keep it unwashed :)
Wash it with a clarifying shampoo and roll it wet. That removes all the product and build up out before you put the chemical on.

I want to get a perm, but I don't know how it would look since I have shorter hair (5-6 inches and it's only the top the sides are shaved) and I also bleach it but it's not damaged. Also I workout a lot and do a contact sport so I don't know if that would change that at all. So I don't know I have always wanted curly hair but I don't know. Also I would probably have to wait till I am 18.
+Lissy'sLife I think that would look awesome! Great thing about hair is it's always growing. So if you don't end up liking it, you can let it grow out a little and then cut the curls off. Especially because you already have short hair, it would be easier for you.

Many perms I see online tend to be more wavy and kinky. How did you make sure you came out with more ringlet type curls?
I woulf show them pictures. That way they see what you're envisioning and how to avhieve it. Also if you don't want really tight curls tell them, you want a bigger rod.
It's mostly about having a stylist who knows what they're doing, uses the correct rods for the look you're trying to achieve and wraps your hair and processes it correctly. Just go to a reputable stylist who is comfortable doing perms (one that can show you pictures of clients they've permed) and bring your own reference images and communicate what it is you want.
I heard if your hair is not thick and course the perm won't take well. what kind of texture do you have? I'm so excited I have my appointment on Sunday to get my hair perm. but I'm a little nervous. also did your hair shrink much?

I love it! My hairstylist reassured me it would be OK. Your videos were very informative and I had an idea of what I was getting myself into. I'm still getting used all the volume. Lol.. I'm not sure what sure what products to use without being crunchy.

i got a perm and the bottom has random straight parts on the very bottom of my hair. it just looks messy all over and looks more like S waves. I'm going back sunday to see if there is something wrong. like i love the volume but none of the curls really coil. is that bad?
