@@lucasfellegger5185 Yeah, 9 was "different" and honestly not in as bad a way as people think. I can respect it being a change for the worse, but I still commend Nintendo for trying something different and when you play it knowing that, it's actually pretty solid... in the right boards. Magma Mine was excellent, but also Boo's Haunted Manor was decent too for similar reasons (you can either take everyone into the safe well lit rooms to avoid Boo or risk Boo running into another player). The ONLY problem with 9 is all the strategy is thrown in the garbage IF you get Bowser's revolution as the bowser event at the end, making the WHOLE board boil down to who wins the Boss fight and I personally feel like they could've played it less safe with the board design and made it far less linear. Really make the decisions you choose to send the car and the items you get (that 0-1 block) REALLY part of the strategy. But at least the game moved a bit faster since you don't play minigames at the end of every turn (which is pointless in this game) and instead have to land on minigame spaces. Still again, I like them trying something completely new and through that lens, it's not bad. But would I want it more than once......no..... I never played 10 and don't ever intend to.... Some gimmicks really should be "one off" OR they could've just made the vehicle mode it's own game mode like MP5's Card party in future games. Instead of that stupid Amiibo Party nonsense.... THAT's the biggest reason I didn't bother with 10...

I honestly dont mind the cart mechanic. I think its pretty interesting and could have definitely been great with the right boards and mechanics. Sadly, a lot of the boards aren't very great compared to the others without the carts.
I am actually pretty happy to see the Hotel one at the top spot! I have great memories of that board and a friend and I actually named and gave personalities to every koopa concierge! I don't remember all of their names, but I do remember Norm. He was the concierge for the Bottom Left hotel and he was absolutely the strangest of all of them. The name Norm was given to him because of the irony. I think we gave him a fake girlfriend that was a doll or mannequin or something like that. The two Koopas who worked at the big expensive hotels were the sons of the owners of all the hotels, with the one from the left one being a snobbish jerk and the one on the right being a down to earth genuinely nice guy. They were each given their own hotel to work at to help them learn responsibility and learn the ins and outs of the family business so they could take over their hotel empire one day. The one at the top middle, I think, was an up and coming rock star whose band abandoned him after their hotel room was entirely trashed and he was left to have to pay off the damages by working at the hotel. I don't remember the others, but I do remember us coming up with the idea that all of them came together to form a new band for the rock star to win a Battle of the Bands that was coming up. God, I wish I had written all of this down, but this idea is something from over ten years ago when I was in high school, so I don’t remember all of the details. But, man. It was a fun time. Heck, I may go ahead and revive this idea for a fanfic or something, I dunno.
Jamboree bringing back Mario’s Rainbow Castle is disappointing cause there were better boards from that game and 3, however getting to hear the remix of that boards theme will be immaculate.
What is in my opinion even funnier about the Bowser board from mario party 1 is that due to how anything "luck based" is programmed (it isn't luck based) that unintentionally makes the coin flip sections even more funny and in line for something bowser would do.
Bro there’s 7 hotels in the board so that means you’d need to collect 700 coins across the whole game in 50 turn games, so you’d have to earn 14 coins every turn meaning you’d need to win every minigame possible including some coin minigames and even then you’d have to come across another 100 coins from the board itself and that’s if you spent literally every coin… not possible and not feasible, the 100 coin max doesn’t ruin the board and if someone did max out most of the hotels first then they deserve those stars anyways
If you go up to 100 coins, which has never happened for me because I don’t play 50 turn games players can just use the slow go candy to land on the bandit space and open the hotel back up to competition.
@@Supermariohoops24 I actually tried to do that as a personal challenge. Could I max out all 7 hotels before the end of a 50 turn game (after having this AMAZING Booty Boardwalk 50 turn run where I somehow landed on the Lucky space EVERY LAP and ended up wtih 20 stars to the CPU's 6, and no, I didn't use a Slow dice. I legit got that lucky....almost as lucky as getting to choose my path every time in Greedy Gala once despite not paying). That's kind of where the fun part of Tycoon Town comes in. Even against the CPUs it's a fun challenge. I did manage to max out every main Hotel, but the 2 lucky ones I only got like 50 coins in each or something like that. I still got all 21 stars, but given how hard it is to go to the lucky spaces AND have 100 coins when you're there, I just accepted it. Still was fun.
So are you going to redo or add to this now that Jamboree is out? Where do Goomba Lagoon, Rainbow Galleria, Mega Wiggler's Tree Party, Roll 'em Raceway, and King Bowser's Keep fit into the rankings?
Goomba Lagoon kind of turned me off of playing the game after one session...... I'm sorry, but it's rock bottom for me. It was THAT bad of a board.... (but I just haven't had time to try the other boards and Brothership is out now so I'm playing that).
@@erikpost2480 This dude really put Magma Mine at the bottom and couldn't even properly criticize it. Just said "this is stupid" and "this is stupid" while simultaneously sounding stupid. The whole point of the board is to try and screw over the player in first. He even says "there are instances where if you don't roll a certain number you're just screwed" even though that's literally every Mario Party Board and is what fundamentally adds tension and luck to the game. If you always had an option to get away from a certain space and land on something good instead then there's literally no point in having bad spaces in the first place unless they're in the way of a star.
@@ultraexcalibur1728bro it's easier to not get screwed because you rolled a random number in the classic mario parties because you can actually buy items that may help you for a specific situation
MP8 boards are some of the best designed boards in the series and i will die on that hill!! people are so blinded by the (fairly criticized!) motion control mini games that they don’t give these frankly quite nicely designed boards the time of day. so thank you for defending them!!
I always hated the "low hanging insult" of "Motion controls" being the biggest sin to a lot of "gamers". I've only played a few games where the motion controls were genuinely a worse way to play than just using a regular controller, but in many of them, they worked perfectly fine. MP8 was one of the good games to showcase how fun the Wii remote could be. But yes 8 had fantastically designed boards.... I do PERSONALLY wish they were EXECUTED better though... namely the DK and Bowser spaces RUIN Haunted Hideaway and Perplex Express for me. In Haunted Hideaway, they should've made it like the solo version, where King Boo is hiding in 3 rooms and you uncover the map trying to find all 3 rooms, once you find him (OR if you land on a certain happening space), he shuffles the mansion, but not after EVERY time you find him. That would make memorizing the paths actually strategic and not just "luck". Similarly, Perplex express would've been fine if they made the DK/Bowser space work like in Treetop Temple. DK "escorts" you to the front of the train so you can buy the star right away, and Bowser chases you and everyone behind you to the back of the train. That would be WAY less frustrating than landing on a DK spae just for someone else to get a free star, or someone else landing on Bowser just to make you lose your star. I really dislike mechanics where DK/Bowser GIVE/steal a whole star. They shouldn't be that overpowered. Otherwise the stages are fine. There's also Warped Orbit which I don't care for, but mostly cause the music is kind of awful....
Buddy keep it up vids like this will definitely help your channel grow. I know you didn't ask but this video is awesome and made me crack up nymerous times (the funny cartoon bits before revealing what board is next).
ok how is goombas booty boardwalk so low and boo's haunted hideaway so high? Booty Boardwalk is the worst board in mario party 8 and I really enjoy boo's haunted hideaway. MP8 is my favorite, but idk how a straight line is ranked better than a unique board idea.
Very nice video! It’s nice to see Creepy Cavern get some well deserved love and yes we need the reverse mushroom to return! Also Koopa’s Tycoon Town is so epic!😁
I love how it went from the 9 10 island tour and star rush boards to boo’s haunted bash. What happened to whomp’s domino ruins lmao? (Edit: After watching the video more, I found out u moved it up a few spots.)
Hehe just cause a map is "simple" doesn't mean it's "Bad". Sometimes a board is bad because the gimmick ONLY makes the experience more frustrating. That's why I put Koopa's Seaside Soiree and Rocket Road (from Island Tour) as the absolute WORST boards in Mario Party. The Koopa Cabana is literally the worst thing about hte Koopa bank in MP2 and 3 without ANY pay off, instead if you land on the happing space, you literally just pay everything that everyone collectively paid.... what a stupid gimmick. AND the Ukiki banana randomly choosing your path, and of course those are the ONLY gimmicks you can't ignore as a Mega mushroom.... Horrible board. (and Rocket Road is a bottom tier because I don't like the fact that you can roll a 0 and flub your 5 rocket roll.... that's NOT how risk/Reward works.... That's just punishing the player for PLAYING THE GAME.) The other boards are at least boring at worst and the Bowser boards are DESIGNED to screw you over, but you play that knowing and still kind of have a fighting chance.
Daaaannng I agreed with the entire beginning of this list then a lot of my favs got knocked out in the middle 😂 I find it interesting that you don’t like either Mario’s Rainbow Castle or Castaway Bay, I think those two are both the best boards of their respective games :p but that’s what’s great about Mario Party, there’s something for everyone. Great list though man! I won’t rank them all myself but my top 5: 5: Shy Guy’s Perplex Express (8) 4: Western Land (2) 3: Castaway Bay (6) 2: Horror Land (2) 1: Bowser Land (2) (Yeah I’m just a little biased towards MP2, I’ll be the first to admit)
and the best items and item system. Yes the orb system in 6 and 7 feel good because of the ability to make spaces, but GOSH the free item space giving opponents warp pipes is BUSTED..... MIGHT as well give htem Wiggler orbs and let them just take the star. What's the difference between that and swapping places with you JUST as you're about to get the star?
Very cool vid. Very schaffrillas like with your presentation. I disagree with some of your takes but I can understand your reasoning for the most part.
Great list! I think some of these placements could be put lower (Neon Heights, I'm looking at you...), but we all know the rule: opinion isn't the law! Also, I think you should pump up the music in the background of your commentary. The cut-away audio with the number placements are really amusing, but the music is much to quiet! Thanks for this overly complex exploration of the world of Mario Party boards :D
Those tea cups in the first turn.... definitely set a BAD first impression for MP4.... since if you go second, you're stuck in that loop for awhile. Shame too cause Jungle Jam and Haunted Bash are actually pretty good boards (and I PERSONALLY like Greedy Gala. it kind of does gambling in a more thrilling way with the way the roulette moves you around).
1:24:33 Big Boo is indeed powerful but I never got to steal stars with it due to the fact that you'll need 150 coins which is a considerable amount looking at how much coins you'll be able to gain per turn in MP2
That was back when Boo was actually BALANCED.... 150 coins AND holding on to a skeleton key and rolling high enough to get to Big Boo was a very fine way to handle stealing 3 stars from all your opponents. XD In fact, while I think the 50 coins you spend to steal a star in the first 4 games sounds fair enough (well 4 gives you the e Gadd light to scare off Boo anyway), I can't help but feel like the act of stealing a star (or even coins in some cases) should cost a bit more so the game doesn't devolve into "Whoever steals the stars last" like Luigi's Engine room in Mario Party 1 (you HAVE to turn off Boo if you want a fair board...WHY they force everyone to run into Boo is beyond me....)
@MarioMastar The way you put it like that I gotta agree with ya on the Big Boo. Only thing I gotta add is that if only 2 opponents have stars he'll still take 150c and only take 2 stars so its only worth it if everyone has stars. But in a 50 turn minigame (God I miss those games) there is a high chance everyone is loaded near the end. And yeah, I dont really have a good thing to say about any MP1 board besides DK's Jungle. With the benefit of hindsight and the knowledge of how boards are done right now, I can clearly see that the MP1 boards for what they are: First attempts at making a board for Mario Party.
Putting most of the MP1 boards towards the middle bottom is honestly the best take in this entire video. Tho I think most of the MP5 boards are too high. Especially Future Dream. But not a huge deal
They really are pretty lousy when you take off the nostalgia glasses..... All of them have some gimmick about them that kind of makes them slap you in the face. Though Luigi's engine room would be a solid board IF you use the "No Boo" sign, or if they moved Boo to another junction.... forcing everyone to run into Boo devolves the last few turns into "Stealing star marathon" and everyone WILL have 50+ coins to do so in those final turns. But I'll never get tired of Mario's Rainbow Castle's theme. even if 40 coins in a board with no items or much position manipulation IS a punishment, it still kind of FEELS fair in the end.
Two things. One I think Rainbow Galleria has dethroned Koopa’s Tycoon town for the best board of all time. Two, I think every single Mario party 4 board should be slapped at the very bottom even below the MP9 10 and 3DS boards.
There is definitely a bias against MP9 if Island Tour and Star Rush boards rank the ones in 9. I also can't believe he would actually put Boo's board in 4 as the worst of them when its one of the only two boards that don't have an annoying movement gimmick you have no control over. There's alot of VERY questionable choices on this list for sure.
1:00:15 Yes, mario party should be luck based in part but the luck elements should be interesting, i think a loop where you have to spend various turns just to play the real game where the only thing that happens is you stockpile on coins and mushrooms is very boring.
I like the setting, but the whole "you either get the star, get half your money back, or sent back to start" thing feels too much like a troll. Just makes the board a lot more luck based without any real sense of strategy. Neon Heights has the same issue and it's a shame cause that level is really cool, but you're pretty much farming Wigglers/Golden pipes to be sure you get the star. However, I think it'd have been better if instead of having 3 "star pots" it has like 9 of them. 3 of them have stars in it, 3-5 of them have coins in it and 1-3 of them send you back to start. and once all three stars are found, they all reshuffle. It'll feel a bit less punishing for opening the box if the odds are more in your favor to get something.
Me personally I would slap both Goomba’s Greedy Gala and Koopa’s Seaside Soirée at the very bottom even below the Mario party 9 and 10 boards. These boards piss me the hell off. I’m a huge Mario party fan but these 2 boards are so frustrating I literally turned my game off.
@@Davi-zo4lu MP9 fans and MP10 fans both got robbed here with all of their board being placed lower than Spiny Turdesert, and Peach's Birthday Crapcake.
@@Davi-zo4lu airship central had a criminal ranking. For me, I would say that it’s my second favorite board from 10, a few placements behind Chaos castle.
Fuck this. Waluigis island is great for random chaos, and so is magma mine. A top 5 board for me, so by saying, every board from 9,10, IT, SR, and TT100 goes instantly below the real boards is honestly bullshit.
Waluigi's Island is the only board where the chaos actually makes the board MORE fun. cause it still feels like YOU are in control thanks to the actions, but you still need to be careful. It really rewards players who remember where they are and that Space Island on the top left corner is SUCH a good time! XD You go there on purpose and get like guaranteed Chance time or something. THAT is good board design.
@ I agree. I love waluigis island for all the reasons you stated. Space land less so, but it’s not bad. What I’m trying to say is that magma mine is also perfect for the same reasons. There’s a stretch near the top of the board that leaded to the side instead of up, so picking that path basically guarantees someone’s getting scorched. When the magma stream is in front of the mini boss fort, it’s a blast, trying to have one of your foes hit instead. Honestly, the e board would have been terrible if it weren’t for the wheel, allowing every person to have some semblance of control over the car.
I’m glad all of DS boards are rated high except the clearly terrible one. I used to spam play DK Stone Statue cuz it always felt like my outcome was in my control. Even the minor annoying things aren’t really that bad
DK stone statue is an excellent board. The ONE board where the Golden pipe is actually not the most useful item since you want to take your time to save up as many coins as you can to buy more stars at once. Definitely one of the best "get to the end" boards along wtih Booty Boardwalk for similar reasons.
1:10:29 The Bowser space in Goomba's Booty Boardwalk is sadly really pathetic. You play a minigame where you shake the Wii remote to jump over some lava bubbles, and if they touch you, you'll lose some coins. They're really slow and easy to react to, so it's disappointing as a Bowser space.
Yeah, would've been better if Bowser actually put you on his boat and dragged you back several spaces, which is the point of the board. losing coins isn't a big deal as Stars are free. yes you can pay the Dolphins to move several spaces ahead (with tempo) but...yeah 10 coins lost is like nothing. Similarly DK could take you forward several spaces on his boat. But honestly, I think Treetop Temple and Tycoon Town are the only boards that handled DK and Bowser spaces properly. the other ones are literally "Here's a FREE star/Take away a star" not to the player who lands on it...but to the player who happens to be (un)lucky enough to run into a pitfall room or close to Shyguy.
ok someone explain why why bomb omb factory and dks jungle ruins are the only 9 boards that placed higher than a board from 10....... EVEN THOUGH THOSE 2 BOTH HAVE 0 PARTS WHERE YOU DECIDE WHICH WAY YOU GO WHICH FOR ME MAKES THEM THE WORST 2 FROM 9!(bowser station has the same problem but at least it has more events in it.)
Man preach with how people say 8 is worse than 9. There are fun stuff in there and some good mini games. But man I hate replaying MP9 cause most of the boards was "Get unlucky? Lose half your mini stars!"
The thing is we should be at the point where the boards should allow us to play more than 1 style of rules.. there should be a way to play a board with property buying objectives, a set number of laps around a track, or up to a player getting a certain number of stars.. options upon options beyond the base game should be the rule in Mario Party.. not the exception
Koopa’s Tycoon Town at #1 is completely valid, but a lot of the other parts of this list are incredibly blinded by either; a bias towards a certain game (MP3) or a dislike of entire games without really putting personal thoughts aside at all (9 and 10). Obviously it’s a personal list but I feel like it’s a bit too narrow minded on some aspects imo.

Goomba’s Greedy Gala at 21 is heinous, that map is ass. Sometimes you just get stuck on an island with literally no way out aside from getting a specific roll or losing the Koopa Kid roll-off (which you have no control over).

I honestly dont mind the cart mechanic. I think its pretty interesting and could have definitely been great with the right boards and mechanics. Sadly, a lot of the boards aren't very great compared to the others without the carts.
Without spoiling I’m very happy to see my favourite MP held the board of the top spot 😊
it's a good board
Agreed, that board is definitely THE best board in the series. The most genuinely strategic Mario Party Board.
That game and DS are both so nostalgic
8:18 I don’t agree that Mario Party 8 sucks more than Mario Party 9. Mario Party 8 has been my childhood. Those guys who say this are wrong.
He said mp 8 doesnt suck and is better than 9?
Exactly!
@@Russom5428Russo Mario Party 8 is my childhood too, that and DS I don’t understand how people say that 8 is worse than 9
9 was my first game but 8’s boards are enough to make it the better game
MP9’s main draw is minigames
He didn't said that
He said that there people who think 8 is worse than 9
How to Play from DS not even being *included* is a crying shame. IT’S MY FAVOURITE-
I am actually pretty happy to see the Hotel one at the top spot!
Castaway Bay is only ever placed low or near the top for people's tier lists and I think it really just depends on what makes these games fun for you.
It depends on if you consistently win or lose stars on the board lmao
Jamboree bringing back Mario’s Rainbow Castle is disappointing cause there were better boards from that game and 3, however getting to hear the remix of that boards theme will be immaculate.
Least we have Western Land returning too
RAINBOW CASTLE IS GOATED.
With items it might be better
@@zombiekilla25979 that’s true MP 1 not having items did make things rather stale.
Castaway Bay's placement hurt me, buuuut its a very love it or hate it board so I can't argue
What is in my opinion even funnier about the Bowser board from mario party 1 is that due to how anything "luck based" is programmed (it isn't luck based) that unintentionally makes the coin flip sections even more funny and in line for something bowser would do.
The one problem in Koopa's Tycoon Town is that it has a coin max of 100 coins for a hotel
Fuck that shit
yeah it straight up ruins 50 turn games
Bro there’s 7 hotels in the board so that means you’d need to collect 700 coins across the whole game in 50 turn games, so you’d have to earn 14 coins every turn meaning you’d need to win every minigame possible including some coin minigames and even then you’d have to come across another 100 coins from the board itself and that’s if you spent literally every coin… not possible and not feasible, the 100 coin max doesn’t ruin the board and if someone did max out most of the hotels first then they deserve those stars anyways
then land on a happening space in front of an alleyway and have a bandit steal from a hotel or have Bowser steal coins from a hotel, problem solved
Why does the Top 100 board literally look like one of the Star Rush boards. The art style looks kinda the same too.
top 100 is a reskin of star rush
@@PlotagonRocksOtherChannel Yeah fair enough
The Top 100 feels like a mod of Star Rush
@@Mickelraven Might as well be. I dont even know how you make a watered down Star Rush. Because its already watered down
Because they used the same game engine
So are you going to redo or add to this now that Jamboree is out? Where do Goomba Lagoon, Rainbow Galleria, Mega Wiggler's Tree Party, Roll 'em Raceway, and King Bowser's Keep fit into the rankings?
Goomba Lagoon kind of turned me off of playing the game after one session...... I'm sorry, but it's rock bottom for me. It was THAT bad of a board.... (but I just haven't had time to try the other boards and Brothership is out now so I'm playing that).
This is so cool! EVERY board! Props to you, dude!
Magma Mine is easily Top 20 Boards of all time imo but always gets robbed because "MP9 Bad"
Facts man😭
@@erikpost2480 This dude really put Magma Mine at the bottom and couldn't even properly criticize it.
I honestly think it’s the best board in mp9
@@ultraexcalibur1728 its an awfull list anyway

I'M ON A train,
I'M ON A train,
EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME BECAUSE IM SAILING ON A train.
Better than the orginal I gotta say.
Amazingly put together video!
ok how is goombas booty boardwalk so low and boo's haunted hideaway so high?
This ranking fits the spirit of Mario Party! A roller coaster of emotions
Daaaannng I agreed with the entire beginning of this list then a lot of my favs got knocked out in the middle 😂
I find it interesting that you don’t like either Mario’s Rainbow Castle or Castaway Bay, I think those two are both the best boards of their respective games :p but that’s what’s great about Mario Party, there’s something for everyone.
Great list though man! I won’t rank them all myself but my top 5:
5: Shy Guy’s Perplex Express (8)
4: Western Land (2)
3: Castaway Bay (6)
2: Horror Land (2)

Really great group! One of the fun 4player lets players.
Obviously I don't agree with everything but this is a really good list. Also would love to see you rank the jamboree boards as well
Good video I enjoyed it the transition quotes were funny asf
Its nice to see some MP3 appreciation, overall it really had the most fun boards
and the best items and item system.

I am glad you used TRG's Mario Party DS LP for footage, we always must relive Proton Jon's descent into madness...
And savor every last moment of it! 😂
I love the tone in his voice evolves as the video progresses
I love the transitions in this video. They seem random but many of them are aptly fitting if you know the source.
1:11:43 What's the song here? I'd like to listen to the full version, if it exists.
Morshu's Paradise
Bro thinks he’s schafrillas productions
To be fairly honest,I don't mind Mario Party 9 too much mostly because I grew up with it,but I think I like everything else except the boards.
Love the use of TRG footage!
awh shame this didn’t come after Jamboree it would have been since to see your opinions on the Jamboree maps
If Toad's Midway Madness is any higher than the bottom 5, this list is wrong (in my opinion)
Honestly, the only people who say that MP9 is bad have barely even played it. Mario Party 9 is the best in the series for me.
1:24:33
Big Boo is indeed powerful but I never got to steal stars with it due to the fact that you'll need 150 coins which is a considerable amount looking at how much coins you'll be able to gain per turn in MP2
Calling it rn koopas tycoon town is number 1
Ding ding ding you are correct!!
Uh uhh toad road was my shit and the soundtrack ate
Ate what
13:04 the moment i saw this, i had a heart attack, i LOVE this board, easily my favorite from 10 and it's tragic seeing someone shit on my favorite
surprised how high toad's midway madness is. every time i've played it it gets a resounding "this sucks man" from everyone involved
You forgot the best thing about Shy Guy's Perplex Express. That it got censored because Kamek was using a slur.
Jesus. I'd only ever played MP8 and absolutely loved Koopas hotel tycoon. Never thought it would top this list, though!
I am Dutch and investing in windmills is not something I do, but some people might.
My boy kamek’s library deserves more love
You REALLY don't like linear boards huh
Bro literally hates the one element that makes Mario Party Mario Party.
Magma mine is a good board concept for a bad game movement concept, so i’m not sure what you are on about.
I liked Mario Party 9, 10, and the 3DS games. My favorite entry is Mario Party 8. Koopa's Tycoon Town was never my favorite board.
Can’t wait for the updated list with Jamboree boards
Me personally I would slap both Goomba’s Greedy Gala and Koopa’s Seaside Soirée at the very bottom even below the Mario party 9 and 10 boards. These boards piss me the hell off. I’m a huge Mario party fan but these 2 boards are so frustrating I literally turned my game off.

1:08:30 i remember watching this on the day it was uploaded and Jon getting PIIISSED for the rest of the board
Fuck this. Waluigis island is great for random chaos, and so is magma mine. A top 5 board for me, so by saying, every board from 9,10, IT, SR, and TT100 goes instantly below the real boards is honestly bullshit.
they're still in games with very different mechanics with eachother.
9 doesn't deserve hate
Neither does SR or (maybe) even IT
Screw the others though
@ the only justified one is The top 100, and island tour, which I think is mid. 9, 10, and SR are a lot of fun though
Love the Dinger city references
58:30, He ain’t lying 😂
Protonjon reaaaaaly hated DS
33:10 DK isn't Donkey Kong as for Mario Partyies 1-7.
21:57 super obscure smg4 reference and im all abt it.
You sir have good taste 👅
Here’s a hot take: I genuniely dislike the invest for stars gimmik cause there’s a finite amount of starts in the eco. Same with the steal only gimmik
ok someone explain why why bomb omb factory and dks jungle ruins are the only 9 boards that placed higher than a board from 10....... EVEN THOUGH THOSE 2 BOTH HAVE 0 PARTS WHERE YOU DECIDE WHICH WAY YOU GO WHICH FOR ME MAKES THEM THE WORST 2 FROM 9!(bowser station has the same problem but at least it has more events in it.)
Space land at 9? That’s insane
Mario party 8 is amazing
Wow, what a ride through every Mario Party board! From the "worst-ever" to the absolute classics, this ranking really had me laughing and reminiscing.
Why does this comment sound Ai Generated
@@lucasness127 Probably is. The "verified" check combined with the channel's absolute lack of content is a huge red flag
Bro’s subcount is all bots
@@lucasness127ill play devils advocate, english may not he his first language meaning he uses unnecessarily formal language
Man preach with how people say 8 is worse than 9. There are fun stuff in there and some good mini games. But man I hate replaying MP9 cause most of the boards was "Get unlucky? Lose half your mini stars!"
8 just has better boards and I feel like that enough is good justification for 8 > 9
I do wish 8’s minigames were on the same quality as 9’s though
1:29:15 no we dont😭
The Fairly Oddparents sound clip had me 😂 15:50
The thing is we should be at the point where the boards should allow us to play more than 1 style of rules..
there should be a way to play a board with property buying objectives, a set number of laps around a track, or up to a player getting a certain number of stars..
options upon options beyond the base game should be the rule in Mario Party.. not the exception
so you mean a board that combines 2 or more gimmicks?
I'm glad someone else likes the original Space Land so much and mentions how Superstar ruins the entire gimmick!
Space Land being that high up should be a crime tbh.
I just played Mario party today
your voice pmo
Koopa’s Tycoon Town at #1 is completely valid, but a lot of the other parts of this list are incredibly blinded by either; a bias towards a certain game (MP3) or a dislike of entire games without really putting personal thoughts aside at all (9 and 10). Obviously it’s a personal list but I feel like it’s a bit too narrow minded on some aspects imo.
Well 9 & 10 are the worst console games objectively, so that’s not personal at all
@@TheManiacZone it def is because “worst console games” still doesn’t equal bad game, and you can still unbiasedly judge those games imo.
Kinda spoiled the video for me. Guess ill stop watching halfway through.
@@anythingy69 I mean I apologize for that, but I feel like it’s always a possibility when looking at comments before you finish. I usually try to not look until after to avoid just that, and I also certainly am not the only comment that spoiled.
@@TannersAwesome That's cope, comments do not equal spoilers. You were the top comment, intentional or not you did your very first word, I can't even scroll far enough up to not see it. Consider not name dropping it? Just keep it as reference to #1 or, #10, like regular fucking people do.
I think I speak for everyone when I say “how can you put Western Land so low?”
Can’t believe mp 3 and 4 are considered good boards🤯
Especially 4 bleh
Goomba’s Greedy Gala at 21 is heinous, that map is ass. Sometimes you just get stuck on an island with literally no way out aside from getting a specific roll or losing the Koopa Kid roll-off (which you have no control over).
Time stamps would’ve been great btw
Play bowsers orbit on the story mode thing. No mini games really and pure luck. It's hell.
This will be entertaining
Man, you really trigerred the MP9-10 fans, even though you given a pretty resonable explanation
9 and 10 have fans????
@@teddie5661yes I’m one of them
reasonable explanation: muh luck muh no strategy
which is objectively wrong at least for 9
1:08:35 I can hear this image!
I got some bad news from the future for you my guy
Well, you weren't lying when you said all boards from terrible Mario Party games are below all the classic ones
What about Mario Party Advance?
