the skx779 & 781 are undervalued in the second hand market considering the price of 2nd and 3rd gen monsters are over priced. definitely a good value watch even in 2023. thanks for the video 👍
Bought mine black dial with bracelet in the year 2007 (or 2008?) when I got my first ever bonus. It has travel with me since then to many countries, through many phases in life - single, married, with kids. Still going strong with use marks and few services and part changes. Until to date it is still the best watch among my others - good size, bright lume, distinctive toolish look, easy to read hands etc.
I got one a love it. Defo a keeper for me too. I got mine in 2007 and never realised it would become such a classic. Excellent piece for my tiny collection which I intend to grow. Thanks for the video.
Outstanding Seiko Monster. I own two fourth generation monsters SBDY105 and SBDY115 and absolutely love them . I would love to able to acquire a beautiful 🤩 first generation monster like you have 👍🏻💯
You own 2 of the latest iterations, but why not own one from the 1st gen either the black or its orange brother 🍊 ! You can't go wrong with a Seiko monster 😉
The 1st gen Monster is still one of my favorites, even after experiencing Rolex and the like. This watch has the distinction of being the one I flipped the most in my first 10 years collecting, bought and sold and repurchased so many times I've lost count. Now the one I have is here to stay, and I will be reuniting with an orange monster eventually as well.

Beautiful monster and such great condition. Top notch!
Thank you my friend.
What happened to your sarb? Did you get it repaired?
@@inspector1973 No I didn't. Not yet anyway. Mr Jun's sister will be visiting Poland soon so I will send it there with her for a refurb.
@@gethinchristianThat is good news. Everything will be OK. No need to worry.

I love the orange monster!
It looks great on that bracelet Inspector. Reminds me of the Doxa sub. Is that the super engineer bracelet?
Very strange video how much u like it 😅
Oh yes, I like it totally! What about you?
Whats the glass made from for the monster?
@@Gakkad It's the Seiko proprietary hardlex crystal.
@@inspector1973 im guessing its not good as minerla or saphire?
@Gakkad It is definitely not as good as sapphire, but it gets the job done if you know what I mean. 😉
Is this one for sale
It's a keeper!
@@inspector1973 I'm glad!
It's a beautiful watch
