I own 3 samurai divers,1 sumo diver, 1 Seiko Hulk,1 cocktail time Presage(My wife picked that one). This video was excellent. Many of those Thai watches would sell in the U.S. without a problem especially the yellows. There are Grand Seiko boutiques in the U.S. but I have not seen just Seiko boutiques has any one else seen one ?
Cool, video! Yeah, from another UA-cam channel that has the author live or frequent business in Thailand, he always checks out Seiko's and puts out an occasional video when he does. It's been a while, though. And, apparently, Thailand is Seiko's #1 fan base in the world. As such, apparently, they get a lot of Thailand special/limited editions. At least that's what he says. Not just limited to Thailand, but, Seiko as a whole, has A LOT of hidden gems to be discovered, both new and old. So many cool Thailand models, one of my faves is the SKXA65... Although I could do without this candy bar cyclops on that one.

This is what Hodinkee used to be. I get they need to make money, but now there are far too many advertorials or what seem to be advertorials. I'm biased as I like Seiko, but this was great storytelling about a very interesting subject. Cole's enthusiasm is infectious. I look forward to more episodes.

Thank you for starting this series with Thailand and Seiko. Myself was lucky in 2007 when I started watch collecting to find a Blue Monster at MBK at the retail price. For your next episode, I remember this australian gentleman from the Jatujak week end market where all the vintage watch collectors gathered ( it was the good time then around 2011-2012 ).

The SKXA35 is a yellow version of the SKX and very hard to find. Good luck scoring a mint one for less than $1000.
It’s beautiful. I had to pick up the 011 instead because of that 1k price. The orange is nice, but that yellow dial is just gorgeous.
