Nicely done, but surely you could've cast the base at home? Just a thought that occurred to me. On side note, I'm currently working on an Iron Warrior base with broken asphalt and cobblestone paths, it's really quite good fun, if painstaking work.
Not sure what to tell you, Neil. There are a ton of scale modelling YT channels, but I don’t know any where basecoating is done by brush. There are way more warhammer channels where all or most painting is by brush - those would be your best bet if you want brush painting tutorials. As for MINE, in all my 122 videos so far, it’s always been airbrush-centric and it will remain so.
The benefits of hindsight! This is why I soon after finishing that, I bought AMMO’s Plasticator, which is designed specifically for this…for the next plaster diorama I do.
Enjoyed it first time round, enjoyed it again. Top marks for spending weeks obsessing over pictures of cobbled roads! That's the way!
Hahah, thank you very much! It was a *fun* kind of obsession, though...😆
Congratulations! Great!!! Im so jealous
¡Gracias, tocayo! This was my first base like that other than the one for a Warhound Titan. I'm sure you too can get results like these or better.
Hi guys! This is my last ex-Patreon-exclusive video from 2021, which I have decided to publish on UA-cam. Enjoy!

Have fun wih the Iron Warriors. Making stuff from scratch is not really my jam - weathering is.
@@TheRaceForTerra I intend to enjoy myself with the Iron-chads=D
From Iron cometh strength!
all great work but what about the majority of modelers who don,t have access to spray guns

Why didn’t you cat it with modpodge? It would have kept it from being porous.

@@TheRaceForTerra right on. I was wondering if you had a reason for not doing this. Or if maybe you were not aware.
