Finally, a clear, well presented video on the topic. Thank you. I was led to this video because I am researching whether I can just put up a Polyethylene storage tank on my 1storey house. Our water utility company is very reliable. Seldom do we have a water interruption. Still I just want a simple backup for the occasional hiccup. I was thinking if I could get away with no pumps. I just plan to fill the storage tank with water then passively feed the house toilet and few faucets. We do have limited space at the back of the house and if I am able to elevate the tank It will probably be from 0.5 meters to 1.5 meters from the ground at most. This project is just to tide over for say 12 to 18 hours of interruption which I have said rarely occurs but when it occurs is irritating. LOL. Again, thank you for the work on these videos.
Hello, I have a quick question, let's say I do have a water tank on the roof of my house and I would like to add a tankless water heater, how do I go about that? The pump is pulling water from the reservoir up to the tank correct, now wheres does the hot water heater gets connected????
@@chrisjoshua5463 No you don't, gravity will allow the tank water to flow into the heater. I have a system just like yours but i'm using a rain water drum as my reservoir.
Very understandable
good job

Water from the tank on the roof will feed the tankless water heater.
