The 'New' Loco Add on Bundle (TSW3 rant)

- My initial (and brutally honest) thoughts on a pointless add-on DTG announced recently. In short, it's a few re-skins of locomotives we've already got in the game, but they're intended for use on the three routes that come with Train Sim World 3.

Before anyone comes up to defend this pack, please remember that I'm not condemning anyone else's opinion. If you're happy with it, that's fine.
And yes, I know that no-one is forcing me to buy it (and I'm familiar with the 'if you don't like it, don't buy it' argument), but the fact that you're not obliged to buy the pack doesn't excuse DTG from re-hashing locomotives we've already got in the game.
Wanna know something even Funnier- The DB BR 182 dispolok is BASICALLY an MRCE 182 since they are actually the same company, They should have given us something else, HELL!! i wouldnt even mind the BR 266(Oh wait a minute theyll just reuse the Class 66) I rather they do something like the TSW 2 Expansion pack, at least that gave SKA and BKL more variety(But was still mediocre at best) Conglaturations DTG You've reached a whole new level of being a disappointment
Couldn't agree more. The sad thing is that there'll still be people buying this rubbish and letting the devs think this sort of thing is okay, which it isn't.
The Dispolok 182 is also wrong because there are none in Dispolok livery left (well there are 4 but all specially wrapped)
The ATSF F7 is the worst idea for a 21st century ambiented route
The RHTT is fine though it should have had new locos (like DB Cargo UK 67s)
Before anyone comes to defend this pack, Please remember, This is a cash grab, with all that said great video
When i saw this pack i was laughing so hard. It is a sad grab to say the least.
above all, you can paint these locomotives yourself and download them from the CC so this Loco Bundle from DTG is completely unnecessary and just a cash grab
It's about time they took the hint and realised that people are sick of these lazy re-hashes. If anything, they probably do know but just don't care as long as they're making money.
You know what I was going to go in for a long explanation and thought sod it I can't be arsed. It is what it is whether you agree with it or not. Personally me I buy the DLC as it adds extra to my experience of TSW and I also get to stream the new products which do bring in a few new visitors to my channel. I have also had the opportunity of changing some peoples minds about the packs or Route / rollingstock DLC in the past. Namely The Diesel Legends of the 1970s pack and New Journeys pack. At the end of the day its personal opinion. I am not sure of why the reason DTG chose to do the BR182 or the F7 in Santa Fe livery (which is one of my favourite liveries on the F7) I would suggest to watch the first livestream release of the pack by DTG. But for the EWS 66 they don't have the licence for GBRF, DRS, Class 73's, Colas, Freightliner, Class 67's (for TSW) I suspect this pack was done where possible as in the part of the team had down time in waiting for the next project to start. I like the pack and to be fair its not going to be everyone's cup of tea.
Anyhoo just thought I would put my four eggs in. Oh and just incase people think I am, I am not a Dovetail Ambassador.

I wouldn't be surprised if DTG "new Ashford Sheds pack" will just only have the 8F and only some freight wagons
IVE GOT AN IDEA! How bout we
1. Make packs of, get this . . . TWO TRAINS
2. Do stuff like for America and SDP40F superliners in Phase 2 and if they really want to the F7s with streamlined Budd coaches
and 3. make a theme of it and don’t just make it only NeW tRaInS
Licensing is their issue, which is kinda a surprise as i'd of thought these companies would be interested given how good TSW3 looks. I've bought the add on as it gives a few new scenarios and timetable services as well. I don't have any of the other more expensive bundles so i guess it's a bit different
For the 182 they should have just gone with the TS audio because it's way better than the crappy one there still very nice video.
DTG: Alright team, shall we have suggestions for new engines for the game?
Worker: We could make some new engines and not reskin the old ones.
DTG: Alright, but we are going to do the opposite of what you suggested.
That analogy reminds me of Yawwie's video in which he did a joke recreation of how London Commuter came to be.
The Rhtt Is cool but you are right that it is the wrong loco for the wrong job. They should have used a NEW loco.
If i want an F7 idd go with the CFR cuz that wont ruin CJP by having these 50s engines with modern cars, *IN MODERN DAY* fine if they did something along the lines of thd NJP where the 40CFX having minimal service and a single trip across few scenarios, instead of plastered everywhere
The 182 is a full out waste of money
As per the RHTT, it adds more than negative , but wouldve liked 73s more tbh

I understand your thoughts, but DTG does what they want to do for us because they just want to be really useful by making money
