I have been using this pallet this week. Agree on the one blue matte, but I was able to create 3 gorgeous looks this week so far!
I like that you touch on the fact that it really comes down to preference. Like, I prefer a matte heavy palette that has at least one super deep dark matte & one super light (or white) toned matte with light colored shimmers. I prefer my mattes to be full pigment. Not everyone loves these things & that's okay. It doesn't mean it's a bad palette or the shadows are bad! I think sometimes people hear these critiques & automatically take it as a negative. You turned out a beautiful look!

I love the way you describe palettes for people with different tastes. As a person with older eyelids I admit I need to use eye shadows that have as much pigment as possible, the kind that you just tap the barest amount carefully in the place you want it with minimal blending. Subculture used to be one of my favorite palettes. I also appreciate the kind of shimmers that shine smoothly with less product. I usually prefer sheer base shimmers so I can choose the base color and not double up on powders. Keep up the good work. I always appreciate recommendations that are so specific.

Hi, what glue do you use for your lashes? I had bought lashes but then returned them to Amazon. I'm just not sure if their for me; however, when I bought a surprise box from Juvia, there were a pair of lashes, but no glue. I started looking into the magnetic lashes, but figure I'll just work on eye shadows and finding the right foundation.
I really like the Duo lash glue in the blue tube, it works really well for me and its affordable
Hi, so I ordered that same glue you use for your shimmers/glitters, and it worked. It also doesn't seem to bother my eye lids which is good. The only problem, is that, the bottom of my eye lids always has a crocodile skin look but shimmers always makes it worse. Do you have any suggestions on how to make the bottom of the eye lid not looks so crocodileish?
Happy u like it! I would say maybe stick to mattes under ur eyes then if the shimmers dont look good there. Gotta do what works for u!
Hey/ I hope you’re doing well. I have a question for you about pressed glitters that are not glitters and simmers. For the life of me and no matter what I do with whether I use glue like you have which is the same one that I bought or no glue no matter what especially in the lower lid I always end up with the crocodile skin. Now I finally found Fenton and Plouise eye primer that works pretty good on my eyelids at least a lot better than all the other products of hundreds and hundreds that I’ve tried. But when it comes to shimmers or anything like those I always seem to end up with crocodile skin, eyelids and/or lower eyelids. Any suggestions?
Hmm i never use pressed glitter. Those are not safe to use on the eyes if its big particles that can have sharp edges. If u mean glitter-y shimmers that are smooth and not chunky, then i use a tiny amount of my nyx glitter primer and put the shimmers on top. I never use glitter glue under me eye cause i find it u comfortable, and like u said, it can enhance texture. If u dont like the way a glitter glue looks, try picking up the shadow on ur brush and then soraying ot with water or a setting spray so get a more foiled effect, that might work beter for u. Maybe just stick to mattes on ur lower lashlane or no shadow under at all if thats looks better. Gotta do what works for u!
@@AnnettesMakeupCorner Hi, thank you for replying. So it's not the glitters glitter, it's the shimmers that have light sparkles or the more sparkly glitters, like the ones you use. The glue is the exact same one as yours. I've tried an actual glitter shadow before and didn't like it at all. I like the shimmers and he other ones, I just wish that I could find a way to make them look smoother.
oh, & forgot. Your eye look is beautiful, especially the shimmers. Also, your nails are looking beautiful also. What color are you wearing, and I think I saw a few of your nails with some kind if design.

@@AnnettesMakeupCorner Cool, but mine are Acrylics. I've had acrylic nails since the summer before 10th grade. Then, of course, Covid hit, and then had to start all over.

Hey, can ask you about Shimmer shadows? I know that shimmers are different than glitters, The ones on your palette seemed to be a bit more than just shimmers. Can you tell me the different kinds? I'm getting more comfortable with shimmers and would like to try and fins a palette that's all shimmers maybe. I'm still trying to figure things out.
These are mostly duochromes that are slightly sheer, very sparkly and kinda creamy in the pan. If you want an amazing all shimmer palette, the break the rules palette from Its Bel is fantastic, or the All i ever wanted 1 and 2 from unearthly cosmetics

Its basically shimmers with sparkle, its not actually glitters that are chunky, its hard to explain, but they perform just like normal shimmers
@@AnnettesMakeupCorner OK, thank you. The glitters that came in that Anastaia Palette, it had like 3 or 4 glitters at the top. I ended up digging most of them out. Glitters, I think, are the ones that you dip your brush in and they get all over the place. Just like glitters you made are work with in school :)
