I saw these on Mercari for $75 to over $100 and wasn't sure where they came from. Now that I know I can't believe the resellers are so greedy they are selling defective palettes for 3 times (or more) more than what they paid. Kinda disgusting. And some sellers aren't even disclosing the defective part. Great video though!
Omg!!! That is terrible! If people pay that for these palettes I will be so upset for them
I just saw the five pan for $180 on marcari. I can’t even imagine charging that for a standard palette. I’m disgusted with the sellers.

100%! These are super glittery but idk if that was a good thing. I had sparkle all over my face after I washed it 😂

Also could u maybe make a TikTok showing some of your fav brushes for shimmers? I never know what kind of brush to apply shimmers with & when I use my fingers I feel like I don’t get to be as precise as I’d like

Honestly that one you repressed is SO soft anyway, it exploded just sitting in my drawer. That palette is gorgeous though! I tried to repress the Complex shades that are busted and they immediately dried back up but I am so going to try the oil hacks people have mentioned because they’re really beautiful too. Love your look! 💜✨
I think she did say they were holo shades, and I can confirm that those sparkles are in all the shades. Even though mine broke too I did see them all before (I just smooshed it back with my finger, not like a formal repress) and thankfully it didn’t get on any other shades. I’m with you though, I definitely wouldn’t have bought either of these full price if they were totally functional. I love Unearthly’s regular palettes though!
That makes me feel a little bit better lol and okay good to know! I like holo shades (or I thought I did) but man these were messy!
I got my defective shade in the weirdos palette replaced but I was able to continuously revive the color when I wanted to use it before I got the replacement. I put a few drops of rosehip seed face oil (just what I had on hand) in it to it became usable again. Maybe you could play around with the totally dead shades to try to revive them a bit. Mine dried out eventually again anyway but if I didn't get the replacement I probably would've just kept using the oil.

@Beaver of the Pola I swear they used to have a contact email on their website that I used that I don't see anymore. If u have Shopify they have a contact option through there as well, and there's also an email listed on the order confirmation email. They had people fill out a Google form for those defective shades once I got in contact with them. Good luck!

Considering the fact that most of the shades don’t work it was little too pricey. Should be 15-20 $ tops.
Yeah I know on the one most of the shades worked but even then it just felt too expensive for that!
I bought one! Because i was intrigued with the holochromes when she swatched it 😂 might not be a good idea in the end 😅 did you have fallout all over? I hate when that happens 🙈
The only shade with really bad fall out was the shade that was already kind of dried up so I think it probably needed a glitter glue to stick to my eye! The bigger issue was when I washed this off there was glittery sparkle EVERYWHERE and I washed my face like 4 times and still had sparkle lol

My bundle shows up today 😅 I’m still kind of excited though! I don’t have don’t be jelly, so I got that one and I think only one or two shades is bad, so I feel like that was a good deal!

@@Katelynhousemakeup so far I had the same shade crumble as you from Unforeseen but I was able to repress and it’s doing good!!! Don’t be jelly had one broken shade but fixed that also and doing good!! Only the silver and green shade work for me in the long skinny palette but the other two were worth it 🙌

I put pigment drops into the ruined shadows it revives them to allow you to use them but then you have to do it everytime you want to use them. Also be wary because my two first shades in my unforseen palette have completely dried so yours potentially could too
Which ones did you use? I tried that and absolutely nothing happened lol
@Katelyn House Makeup I have peaches and cream pigment drops they work a treat I just put one or two drops in and use either my finger or a brush to rub it in and it turns into a workable formula

part of me wanted the holographic palette but I guess I'm glad it sold out before I could get it, idk. I can't see myself paying $80+ for it- that's just too much for shades I'm not personally choosing.
Yeah I feel like what they threw out as a price for when it’s full priced was kind of a lot!

@@Katelynhousemakeup I got first replacements for shattered shades and then I noticed the dry ones and asked replacements for those too. I admit, I'm quite nervous... Was this it or is there going to be more shades drying up?
@@sparklecakeface I’m not 100% sure but it seemed like the Halloween palettes and these palettes were the extent of the issue!

I bought these because Unearthly made an IG post saying these are palettes they never got to sell but are selling at a discount. I never saw the live where she talked about them** and so I bought this exact bundle as you. Color me surprised when half of the shades are completely dry and hardened. I had no idea that "Defect" meant the shadows would be unusable, I thought it was more about the packaging or another issue - because what makeup brand would sell cosmetics that you can't use??? So I am very unhappy with my purchase.

I also don’t think it’s fair that all of the info wasn’t super clear on their site. They can’t assume everyone watched the live and knew what they were getting into!

I bought the complex/ don't be jelly combo. I wonder if duraline or some kind of mixing medium would help. So won't be doing this again lol. Edit : nothing works not duraline or tape. None of the shades work either at this point except the silver lol. Hopefully the formula has been fixed because its being released now .

So disappointed in this brand. Purchased the defective unforeseen bundle and ended up with more defective shades then originally listed. The shades listed as defective were only Sudden and Random when she did the live but I ended up with my shades in Stun and Surprising also not working. Not to mention my entire complex palette was unusable (even the silver is a dud). So altogether I received 4 shades for $45 🤦🏾♀️. I emailed the brand and they argued that they disclosed the extra defective shades (Stun and Surprising) which they did not. They offered me a $5 store credit and said they would do no more.
Not to mention I bought this on a store credit due to having to return the $100 mystery box due to a leaking liquid lipstick globe and a strong chemical smell.
Oh my gosh!! That is really not a good experience at all. I’m so sorry!
Yeah they definitely need to fix their customer service. They didn’t even answer my email until I commented on their post😭

@@Katelynhousemakeup Yeah. I commented on one of their instagram post speaking about my experience today (same one posted above). They turned off the comments for that post directly after. Then they removed the original video the owner posted of her live we’re she disclosed the defected shades so that no one could prove it. Someone had seen my comment before they deleted it and messaged me telling me they’ve had a similar experience with the brand.
