Olive trees are everywhere! Oftentimes, we see olives going to waste. We see it when we walk around at a park, stepping on fallen olives and staining the walkway. We stroll along the sidewalk in our neighborhoods and see olives on the ground as we avoid stepping on them.
In this episode, I teach you how to make homemade, edible, delicious black olives at home. I hope to encourage you to pick these olives instead of letting them drop.
It's so easy to brine and cure olives. Olives are a popular Mediterranean and Middle Eastern treat, also called "zeitoun."

Do you think olive trees can grow ok in Australia? Are 'calamatta' olives the best, or does it not matter? What variety of olives do I see in your video?
I have just started a carnivore diet, but olives would always be included - they almost have the texture like meat don't you think?
How about a 'machine' or tool to remove olive 'pits'? Is there such a thing, cos I have nearly broken a tooth by accidentally biting on one?
I have just eaten & am 'full to the top' now, but I could still eat a coupla olives right now if I had some! Thank you for the video! You are wonderful!

The olives are based purely on preference, whether Cal, Spanish, etc. They can most definitely grow in Australia, without a doubt!! I've got a black olive variety and I'm not totally sure what it's called. Even though you're just eating meat, olives are a great addition. Very meaty.

But we have apple trees in yards and people don't pick their apples either. I think the usa is the most wasteful country.
