I'm always wondering if anyone ever gets anything from these. It makes me very happy to hear I actually helped someone.

Hey man, Im currently doing the same thing to my 75 Cb550, however when adjusting the 2-3 cylinders, the timing light comes on alittle before the far right timing mark. When I move the 2-3 smaller adjuster plate, It doesnt make a difference on the position the light comes on. Any thoughts? Also I notcied you said "and right there is when it clicks on" (29:37) Are they supposed to click when activated? Cause I dont hear a peep out of mine but the timing light does indeed light up. Thanks and great video!

Not sure I’m under standing, so you have setup cylinder 1-4, and those look good? So the whole plate should be correct (no more adjustment) lock it down.
Moving to cylinder 2-3; the adjustments are done by moving the black sensor on the plate (loosen screws and it allows for some play.
The ‘click’ I mention is the click sound from the spark plug. When the spark fires. The device itself doesn’t make a noise.

Hi!! Did you use the original coils??? 4.5 ohms??? How she runs? Thanks bro!!!

She runs like a top on the original 48 yr old coils. When they go bad i'll be purchasing new ones of higher quality, but for now everything is doing well.

On mine it worked on 1/4 but not 2/3.
I contacted dynatek tech support, we went through some tests, then I sent back and they confirmed with their own tests it was bad. Sent a new one and it’s working perfectly now.
They stand by the product and make it right. Have to admire that now a days.

There is one setting that was left out of all the installs on You tube. That is the space between the magnet on the rotor and the 'pickups' on the modules. If set too far out the corresponding cylinders will misfire. I set mine but forgot what the setting was, maybe forty two thousands?? can you confirm the range??

That’s a very good point. I’m in the middle of moving east, but as soon as I get time I will measure the gap on my working setup.

If you set the timing half way between the f and t marks (lines) like you said in the video, you timed it wrong, timing would be retarded and engine power would be down. The line for the f mark lines up exactly with the v timing mark on the engine casing. The T mark that you said you didn’t know what it was for is top dead center to adjust the valves…

Disregard, i see you meant between the two advance lines to the right of F…

@@Joelaw99_ the marks on this bike for some reason (and it is my first Honda build, I’m a old triumph guy mostly) didn’t have any letter markings. The ignition the way it was setup has been flawless for the past few years now and has required no adjust. Matter of fact I tested it with a timing light just lastnight and all cylinders were hitting on mark.
