How upgradable is it? Ive never had a computer and would like to get this one and use it for a while, but i know stuff stops working sometimes or you want to make it better. so i would just want to know how is it at swapping parts or upgrading them.
All prebuilt computers can be pretty difficult to upgrade because the manufacturer usually cheeps out on power supply, so if you want to upgrade your graphics card down the line you might need to get a new power supply so it can handle the watt usage. This computer should last a long time but I see myself upgrading my CPU maybe in a year or two. Swapping parts and upgrading shouldn't be a problem as long as you check power supply.

I had the Skytech Chronos pc with Ryzen 5 (I think it was 6600)? Gave me so many problems. First I had some motherboard issues and had those fixed and upgraded. Then, it killed some brand new gskill ram. After getting those fixed, it works for a while, and bam: BSOD. That sucks bro! I haven’t had any problems with mine! Around what time did you get the computer? during COVID times i heard that the computers sucked as well with the customer service. But know they drastically improved.
There’s nothing wrong with buying a pre built pc, but sadly you over paid by like $500+ even for a pre built and that cpu is not a bottle neck for your gpu. Its actually an excellent cpu that wouldn’t even bottle neck a 3090. You don’t need a super high end cpu for gaming. You should do some more research so you don’t get ripped off again. Nice pc though, you’re gonna have a lot of fun with it! Also to reduce the fan noise you should go to your bios and go to the fan setting. From there you can run an automatic fan adjustment that should set your fan speeds so the fans run more efficiently. While you’re in bios you should also enable XMP/DOCP for your ram so it runs at full MHz :)
Yea i played around in the BIOS with the fans and everything is fine! Maybe i did overpay a bit but thats almost every prebuilt, i have not had any problems and i get amazing frame rate on any game i play. Thanks for the ram tip!
