It’s not a big step but your vids inspired me to buy my first reusable water bottle 😅 thanks for that! I wish I could take bigger steps quicker but since subscribing to you I’ve been more conscious than ever about my waste and it feels good every time I fill up my water bottle 😸
I just had a nice little self care bath last night too! I rarely take baths but I’ve been sick so I’ve been taking more than usual (sorry water) I grab roses and lavender on my walks with my dog and dry them out (from the backside of my campus not people’s yards) and throw them in my bath. Super cheap and luxurious feeling
I finally bought some reusable straws. I made face DIY cleaning pads and use them everyday. I also made small bags for my nuts and pasta. Slowly I'm making many changes. Thank you for making me realize what waste I make the most.
We are currently replacing our stand up shower with a shower tub combo and I have been missing taking a bath too. Such a great way to relax! Looking forward to enjoying it hopefully by the end of the month. Great video, thanks for being you!
Actually, bentonite clay is inert. You don't have to worry about using a metal spoon. That's an unfortunate misconception about how chemistry really works.
I've actually been looking into buying a tiny house without a bathtub to help deter myself and my son from water waste which is a big hurtle for us but this was such a fantastic video
I love watching your videos! My husband and I just got a 1961 airstream gifted to us. We’ve been redoing and trying to do it as eco friendly as possible. I’m trying to make things and buy used things. It’s saved us so much money.💚☮️💚
You should try Causebox! I saw something on Instagram about it today and its suppose to be a subscription box that is more sustainable and fair trade! I haven't looked into it too much to see how sustainable it really is but I'd love to see you at least talk about it.
Loved this! When i saw the bath soak bag i literally yelled out but plastic! Then you said it wasn't and i was like okay sweet :D I'm glad you mentioned that otherwise i would have totally thought it was plastic ahahaha
I thought it was a nice idea to make a video about a spa day with low impact products, but I think it would be an even nicer idea to make a self care video where you don't have to spend money, products or resources too. Something like taking a walk, talking to your friends, meditating, doing some volunteer work in your community, spending time in nature... You know? All of that is self care too and it doesn't involve participating in the economic production system at all! What do you think? I'm sure you would have amazing ideas about it!
Omg I miss baths too! We have a bathtub but the overflow hole leaks into our basement. 😬 So my son can take a shallow bath, but I can't. I told my husband he needs to fix that before I'm pregnant again. Momma needs her baths. 🛀🧘♀️🌿🥥
can you make a video about how to reduce your waste when you're sick?? i feel like i go through tissue after tissue and use so much plastic when i open cold medicine and bottles of painkillers
This was such a great video! I have been wanting to make a few more sustainable swaps in my life, and I noticed my favorite bar soap from Lush has synthetic fragrance in it. :( Quite a few of them do. I'm not so sure those are the best for humans and the environment.
Ahhh if anybody from Earth Hero checks their promoted posts, please ship to the Freely Associated States haha. Shipping to Micronesia via USPS is just at standard domestic rates, but we get left out from awesome websites like this.
I was actually wondering, how sustainable is clay? I mean, it is natural, but how does the mining process (do you even mine for clay?) affect the earth? Just a thought I've had and still unsure about :)
Mary Bloom Coming from an area with clay-heavy soil, and having visited a lot of similar places around the world... clay pretty much IS earth, minus the worm poop and living organisms. No worries.
@@eaglenoimoto I understand that it is earth, the question is whether the mining process is a sustainable one or is the ecosystem destroyed in the process.
Its not as bad as it looks. I was a shaving everywhere addict. But I stopped once summer was over. I will be shaving again, once a week when the weather gets nicer.
@Ayce McGrath I think the unpleasant thing after the prickly phase is that you actually feel drafts of air move your leg hair xDD I find that feeling pretty disturbing and it always happens when you're wearing shorts so I'll defo be shaving again once summer comes around...
I haven't shaved in about 6 months either. I don't notice the hair on the legs draft feeling. Once you get used to hair being there (took me about a month for my armpits) it's totally fine. There are people who will make comments so that does hurt, but you just have to remember that your body hair is so insignificant in other people's lives. My only concern is when summer comes around and I'll be in swimsuits. I don't want to wear swimming shorts, but I also don't want my pubes to show. I feel like that's so taboo. It's really weird that society would rather see razor bumps than pubes. I wish I was comfortable not shaving there, but I'm not yet
This was so fun! I'd love the opposite of this - a low waste night out, from getting ready to after you get home!

I appreciate that you not only talked about the products, but the companies as well.

that sounds amazing!! I'll have to plant some lavender and try that out!
You got an Air BnB..to take a bath. HELL YES GIRLLLL! THIS LIFESTYLE SAVES YOU SO MUCH MONEY! #goals
I’m so glad I found your channel, helped me a lot with minimalism and low waste life. Thank you ❤️
Great idea! Love the concept. Are you ever going to do a video about your tattoos? I’m always interested in what they mean
Thank you! I have a video all about my tattoos, it's just a little old (:

Don't know how i'm only just seeing this but I LOVE IT xx

This could not be more perfectly timed - ya girl has been stressed, lol. Love this!
Completely random but your hair is absolutely gorgeous and has been my inspiration to keep growing mine out 💜
I love Solmate socks! I have been wearing them since before my low-waste journey (5-6 years) and the same pairs are still going strong.
this sounds amazing, more people should do such environmentally-friendly things!
Having a bath is not ecological
I needed this lmao I'm going on a trip for spring break and the air bnb has a huge tube, I can't wait to just relax
Ugh that sounds amazing!!

they are the best!
Just started watching and damn your videos are so good! You’re so no bullshit and realistic when talking about 0 waste! Keep it up
Thanks for the video , some good ideas

Sure! This video was sharing my ideal day of self care, everyone's is different.
That’s a gorgeous Air B&B! I will definitely check out that website. There are a few items that I am in the market for.
I have those socks!!!!!! I didn’t know anyone else had a pair ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

I do the same! I know hankies are an option, but it seems like I'd go through a billion.

OMG I DONT HAVE A BATHTUB EITHER AND I ALWAYS CRY ABOUT IT. We move next week though and our new house has one!!! 😭😭😭
Yayyy! We just might have to gush over each others new homes. So excited for you guys 🤗
Shelbizleee y’all too!!!
it’s your Jedi jacket ;)
what do you use for a low waste foundation? That has good coverage
Choose foundations with glass packaging like the maybelline fit me
I would look some up on Etsy

Do you watch Susun Weed? She's really into herbal remedies and identifying botanicals outdoors and uses them for all kinds of things
Once again...👍💛👊💖
I thought you said in your previous video that you don't buy candles and you don't think breathing them in is good for you?
I said that about paraffin wax candles and artificial scents. Definitely want to avoid those.
Why are bath bombs not considered sustainable? I'm sure there are brands that are or great ones you can make at home that would be.
Love this!!! Thank you for filming!!! Do you check your Instagram DMs? Please check them. 💖🤘🏻
Girl I don't know how you don't shave you legs that feeling drives me nuts I bought a safety razor but haven't tried it yet still using my old stash!

Madelyn Dickens you don’t need to shave you can wax, and it lasts longer.
I've always wondered if waxing or shaving is more wasteful?
Great Work! Want to collab.
Lovely video idea! Be careful showing your feet on the internet, you know... creepy people.
Do you smoke weed ? I need to know
morgan hilfiger i saw a video the other day how smoking weed isn‘t really sustainable so I guess she wouldn’t? 🤷🏼♀️
Lena Ni she’s sooooo chill I feel like she does 😂
