- Todays video is all about a catch up from the mini renovations that we did last week at Steve's and former Britain's Best Lawn 2016. Last week we scarified all the lawns and applied granular fertiliser and liquid fertiliser at Steve's job but at Former BBL we only applied liquids, lets see how both jobs turned out.

Yes getting to understand lawn care a lot better with the help of your videos Even though my lawn looked the best it had ever done I gave it a mini renovation and it's definitely freshened every thing up with the help of watering and product

Hi Daniel, 1 suggestion: even if you record in 1080p, render it in 4k. When you upload in 1080, YT uses sh*tty codec to compress your video more. If you upload in 2k or 4k you will have better quality :) we also can see the lawn in better quality

just renovated my lawn, 70% of the lawn after 3 weeks looks ace, just got lot of bare spots which I can get to thicken up, what would you recommend to really kick this on.
Did a little renovation on Saturday using my manual scarify rake rather than my machine as it can be too aggressive where it isn't flat. Applied equilibrium, Dan's Magic, grace, orb it and Stella. Nice bit of rain this evening to wash in. Should all kick in this week.

Can't believe you had one annual meadow grass in Steves job ,I took out a bucket full in mine in 180 Square meter probably about 8 buckets this year .Will i ever beat it the question
I’ve all but given up with mine. It just blows in off the fields and I can’t win.

Dan next year I want to renovate my lawn it's looking good now but want to use your Barenburg seed.Would I be best to kill it all off which i don't really want to do or just overseed and do that gradually every year

silly question whats the main purpose of the small front roller on the cylinder is just to let the mower glide better , or is more to do with say the cutting grass blade ,or stripes , always wondered why they put it there , now the football finished , my mind wonders elsewhere , lol wow love the stripes
@@t008mx well without it the mower wouldnt work as would just fall to the ground, it is what the height adjuster works from

How long should I wait to cut after applying equilibrium? Conscious of it being lifted by mower if too soon!?

@@geoffboardman9719 they grow wimbledon dwarf rye on clay its the watering thats the prob or more so the rain where as at wimbledon they can put the covers on or close the roof and regulate their own watering

Dan - inspirational videos given me the confidence to press on with my lawns. Had some wins that have boosted my confidence and some loses which have taught me well (still much to learn) so cant wait for September when Im going knee deep on the back lawn with full kill, level and re seed.

Hi My lawn (0.75 of an acre) is in desparate need of some TLC, have a lot of weeds, small white and purple flowers and have been advised to start with grazon Pro? Would you start there first?

@@samjonmark i have back lapped if you back lap you can get away with sharpening
