Lyrics:
Poppy’s lips taste just like whiskey
We’re lost in a kiss of electricity
I was alive
When you were with me
With you
I wanna drain your wide eyed ocean
I wanna tear your mind wide open
I was a child of maddest emotion
With you
#Wunderhorse #Poppy
Was looking at the Fontaines d.c. tour dates and found these guys supporting them. What a band, and well done to Fontaines for giving these guys a chance to gain more exposure. They're very good indeed.
I don’t think it’s a band. I think it’s a solo artist with a band
It's a band buster
mark my words. This band will be huge
I really hope so and we are witnesses of each others early support
Ears of this world is worst year after year..I dont think so that ppl will love those tunes, sounds whatever..
How come this band isn’t more famous?!! They are fantastic!
saw these guys at Glastonbury a few days ago, absolutely incredible stuff. this band is going to be massive.
Brilliant song, reminds me so much of the type of sound a band called "The Open, The Verve and Mansun were producing in the late 90's to early 2000's. Really loving the harmonies.
The Open were massively underrated.
They do totally sound like the verve !!! Absolutely brilliant
If there’s a song that I identify with is this one. I can’t stop playing it. Greetings from Argentina! Keep this incredible songs coming
that would be because you country is a shit fight just like both my motherlands Australia and Chile we will get through it one day Hermano love from your neighbour
This is amazing
Absolutely insane song, just watched it like 3 times in a row
this song needs way more views
Unbelievable track
genius song
Incredible!
This band is insane. I love it the first time I heard Midas
Such a grunge sound. I love this✨
grunge, I got more 90’s psychedelic
Just saw your show in Tucson with fontaines d.c. you guys killed it and I was right next to your singer for the fontaines show!!! Truely dope band
I like this.
What a GEM you are!!!!
Been waiting for you to pop up since Dead Pretties. Good to see ya back. Love it!
Brilliant tune, when’s the album out Sir? Ps you look far cooler with the buzz cut 😉👍
Fantastic song and album, really excited to see what they'll do in the future
I love this and the melody as well keep it up!
The best haircut ever for sure lol. This is actually a great video, very interesting.
Looking forward to seeing them with Fontaines DC next week. And he's wearing a Surf Boards by Donald Takayama shirt, if I'm not mistaken! Good man.
This is the track that really grabbed me n got me into Wunderhorse recently.
Total 90's indie psychedelia vibe (with a bit of Jeff Buckley 'Mojo Pin' mixed in)!
Can anyone recommend any other exceptional tracks please 🙏
(Really like studio live version of Morphine and Girl Behind The Glass also)
definitely a jeff buckley influence!
i'm hearing a fair amount of stone roses influence too
@@cutlery yeah, good call.
Purple is really good
@@drakemcrae1271 Thanks 🙏
They are like early Coldplay if Chris Martin had been obsessed by opiates.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Like everyone else, im surprised to be hearing a real new band, i thought they had gone extinct.
he's such a pretty man
1990!
This band must have been brought up with music that their parents listented to. Honestly, I can hear anything from Bob Dylan to the Police, The Beta Band, The Stone Roses, the Verve, Mansun, Talk Talk, Television, The Open and Doves.
Ian brown?
why does these songs don't make it up to the billboards, instead its new futuristic genres for 2020s decade, but the billboard feels like we are have the worst version of 2018/2019 songs
Because it has to reach a wider audience. This is 2022 and with the last 10 years or more people are used to being fed shit music. Guitar music is only just making a come back with the last couple of years. Plus this song would be seen as progresive rock and not radio friendly because of the 2 minute long drum/guitar solo. They're a relatively nwe band I'm sure, only going with about 2 years at the most might be less even.
If Soundgarden and blur had a child
Early Verve too
Totallllly
I’d say a bit of Jeff Buckley too, that bridge riff is very 90s alt psych
@@aaronbockmann620yes! 👍
The guitar in the intro reminded me of Mojo Pin.
If the voice was an octave higher it would be very Jeff-y
Yeah, Verve, Blur, Jeff Buckley, and maybe a bit of Kula Shaker?
bald jacob is hot omg
i agree
