- Who wants a green dog? We're helping our dogs go green by upcycling old jeans and t-shirts into fun, eco-friendly dog toys.
Fetch this easy DIY project by shredding your old, undonatable jeans and tees and braiding your way into your dog's playful heart.
Why buy disposable toys that are made from chemical-laden plastic when you can make your own out of your old clothes. This is one of the easiest DIY projects out there. Start by getting your frustrations by ripping some old clothes to shreds. Then braid the stands together and knot both ends for a great pull toy.
If your doggie loves to fetch, add a tennis ball on the end and watch those old clothes fly!
This green and thrifty project from tuja's very own Frugal Frog will save money on toys, keep chemicals and toxins out of your pet's mouth and upcycle clothes that were bound for the dump. Good for the planet, your pooch and the pocketbook.

great idea
+Debbie Bunn Thanks - let us know how yours turn out.
Good ideas ! 👍🏻🐶 be careful , tennis balls are not good for the teeth, they got grind when your dog chew a tennis ball
Any material should be 100% cotton, tennis balls dry up. Any toy a dog can break down possibly, should always be supervised or simply not used.
those clothes are suitable for donation but your reusing anyway
How do you make a whole in the tennis ball?
I know this comment is old but you can just stab it with some scissors or a knife
Those are neat but I don't no if my dog would play with it
???? But you also don't know that she won't, right? Only way to know is to try and if she doesn't, donate it to a dog rescue organization. Win Win
What if it's 3 leged like. My friends
Sorry to break it to yeah, those tennis balls are lethal to dogs. The fuzzy stuff can get stuck in throat or intestines. The rubber bits they may swallow can pollute them and upset stomach and make digestion hard for them.
Sorry...
Maybe instead of tennis ball use a dog bone that's donut shaped or drill into any bone. Could you do a video on that idea please?
Great video
pls comment back!!!
my dog didnt like any of theese
