Sometimes overaggressive use of products which may contain retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, could be actually causing flaking of skin. So we need to understand how long it is causing. Is it related to one particular place, such as in Chennai. There are conditions like psoriasis or psuedopsoriasis. i know this was 10 months ago but I'm honestly glad I'm not the only one. usually i get sick in winter and this year i had a super bad stuffed nose and really dry skin from the weather and putting wet rags on my face to cool my temp. Right now I'm using face cream but again glad someone understands lmao
For my flaky and dry skin I use Anveya roeship oil it rejuvenate the skin and brings good glow on the face

Don’t use lotion use CeraVe Cream or Walgreens Cream I specially used Walgreens Cream but it’s the same shit I strongly

I may have used tretinoin the night before and the next day travelled in a car for 4 hours in the sun i forgot to put sunscreen on when i washed my makeup off i had dry face everwhere was red in spots and stung i tried soothing stuff but i think i irritated it more its also tight the dry skin 🥲

Im experiencing the same thing i woke up from a nap it got swollen my eyes can’t open . Like I drank benadryl and slept for 6 hrs and my face itches. I mainly use vaseline.

@@asfiyataliey1327 start applying cerve healing ointment on wet skin after washing, it helps absorb moisture into the skin and lick it in. Apply to hot spots like nose creases or chin. For me I had hot irritation spots on my eyebrows too so I applied it there too. Little goes along way

Same, I watched a video on UA-cam that you should apply the ice cube on your face twice a week and I started applying. Just after 1-2 days applying ice cubes. My cheeks, forehead and eyebrows side got much dry, flaky and even thin type.
Even Wrinkles are forming.
I am having dry skin on my face. I have white flakes on my forehead and eyebrow. I do not really know how to get rid of it. I applied alovera gel. it gives relief for itching. My itching subsided but the flakes are there.
I only have one spot on my face up near my temple and hairline that’s flaky . I try avoiding putting any cosmetics in that area . It’s odd that I only have it on one spot on my face. The rest of my face is fine .

Actually i also had a dry skin problem , if ur whole body is dry , then you can use body scrubs like the diy one especially those containing coconut oil , in these winters they really helped me to get rid of dry skin 😌 and after using them use nivea body lotion🤗it works like miracle for my skin😁

I'm also using coconut oil it is not giving proper relief but you must try it may be you get more relief

Also, replacing normal soap with a handmade soap (like vidhyanjli or Rustic art soap) work well on me.

I have flaky skin around my mouth. Even after moisturising. I do not use any retinol or glycolic acid and I have stopped using my active ingredients and came to my basics I use use hyaluronic plus ceramide based moisturiser and sunscreen but even after this, I have flaky dry skin around my mouth few days back, I had flaky skin on top of my right eyebrow, and now that part has a white patch I have shown many dermatologist but nothing showed me results please help

Same with me 2-3 months back I watched a video on UA-cam that you should apply ice on you face twice a week this that.
I started applying after 2-3 of applying my face skin got dry and flaky even I can see the wrinkles forming on face.
