I find myself looking forward to your trips, and Captain's commentary!
You clearly surround yourself with very fun folks, well done.
What makes this so refreshingly different is that you're all having *fun*! Loved this, and taking in the sights as you go.
The Captain seems like such a character
He's full of malarkey. Love it.
That new jersey is very nice 🤌
And those clips of Captain in the gym were hilarious
Bro the captain has me cracking up 🤣
Love this !
Could you please post the route when you’re done ?
What a great bunch of people you're cycling with. Captain seams a great laugh. Great video Francis and awesome trails 👍
.
The captains French is flawless
Thanks Francis and the Captain and crew...looks like a blast !
Love the jersey Francis, you look like the Riddler
That's what I thought too!
I love the captain's vostok! Class watch!
Really like the green jersey :D
That looks like it was so much fun.
Marvelous....I agree, exploring on a bike is amazing. In the USA I often follow high tension power lines, which (usually) have a gravel track underneath. EM-radiation helps with long distance rides 🤣.
Better not have a peacemaker
@@elbatch Ummm...you mean a "pacemaker", and the fields from UHV aren't strong enough to interfere. I'm an electronic tech.
@@stephensaines7100 yeah peacemaker is an other kind of public utility service offered by the USA (ballistic missile). I was mislead : in the french Alps, on the highway a43 there's a sign enforcing a speed restriction with "magnetic field" written and a hearth drawn on it. I always thought it was linked to a big power line crossing nearby but it's actually for an aluminum factory near Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne that uses so much electricity for electrolysis that the magnetic field produced "could" disrupt pacemakers and electromagnetic brakes if crossed to quickly. Very unlikely tho
Just wear foil over your helmet. You’ll be fine
@@ralphmartinez9919 keeps you from overheating because of the sun too ! Smart 👍
@0:27 Das Vostok goes gravelling!!! Luv it!
Oh cool the gully of mild inconvenience
All sorts of malarkey - my kinda ride!
Watching this in my tent in betys coed, didnt make snowdon coz rain for 3 hours.. thanks for the laugh bro needed it x
Gravel riding is just fun 😍😉
Did the road route and managed to miss you at Paris, still owe you that beer from 2018
Trips are the best. I really wish you could have cut to two French people trashing the Captain’s French, use of the cone to make announcements in English. They felt like bits waiting for Statler & Waldorf.
Paris / le Mont Saint Michel ( Veloscenie ) it's a nice trip as well.
#Fierce! ⛈
Are the routes available somewhere? And I've certainly been there before: only vegetarian "meal" was a green, leaf-only salad and then they added bacon bits - it's only seasoning, after all
Should have brought your mountain bike for this section of the trip
I really like your trip, i find them relaxing.
I really need to build a road bike, my ebike doesn't cut it anymore, i want to have more fun.
(Also, next time you're in France, come to Brittany, the coast line are awesome to do.)
They need to re-release that jersey it's 🔥🔥🔥
Nevermind..just saw that they did. Got me one!!
Video Topic: which type of bike is best suited for the type of ride, London to Paris by gravel?
3:07 Forest Road of "Ventes de Bas" (name of the location)
This looks like fantastic fun! Curious about your tire width. Seems a bit narrow for gnarly gully of death and the other off-road conditions?
40mm - I could do with chunkier ones for those bits for sure!
What was that bonus Captain content about? He didn't hit the gym post ride did he?
😎
Aye...is good 👍 🤙🤙
Captain Captain is spicier than Captain Jack but Jack is still a damn good captain.
there's a French dietician on YT who eats vegetarian Edu Kale with Lucie I think? She might have some tips for you when it comes to ordering en Francais.
When was the last time you did a ride what wasn't ridiculously hard? Non-stop Roberto Savaggio
Bro, where is the LTwoo Test ?
Hellooo
Blasphemy a man who spends a lot of time in Newcastle saying that’s one of the best bridges! sick video as always
Quality translation 👌🏼😅
I kinda wish the people from the UK would pick a side. They go from km to miles in the same sentence.
So does distance. You can be be bilingual on Imperial Metric. Salut from Canada.
@@stephensaines7100 maybe you can. I'm not that smart. Every time I hear someone mention km it's like they are talking Haitian to me. I do like working with metric sizes on my dirt bike though
seriously tho....when was the last time you "travelled slowly" 😏😉✌️
Last ☠️
Ah no OK, field demotion back to Captain it is then #turnatthecows
After almost 20 yrs living in france,
Not sure about the language skills from the tourist/I immigrants there but that is fine
Veggie … my youngest (now 27) has been veggie since she was 10 … in former days it was “do you have anything for …. Followed by ‘well, we do have chicken’”
So now is marginally better but frankly not much really, especially in the SW where duck is king
Enjoyed all that though
The language on contact was very odd so I asked a question … what does 107 mean to you ?
They didn’t know after 7 minutes so I asked them to ask Chris …. They then jumped off the chat
Just be careful because unless you tell me otherwise, it stinks of scam
Did I make up that Francis was vegan?!
Vegetarian Pizza? You not eating vegan anymore?
