"Skipping the queue because we're on bikes and not in cars....Suckers!" What every cyclists thinks in rush hour traffic! 😂
I say this all the time "suckers" 😂
*_Awesome_* to have Captain back after so long! The goofball vibes are real.
@Dov, nice to finally see a hookless option
Good to see the Captain educating the English on Australian English
The problem with staying current with your channel is I've saved nothing for binge watching when doing a long challenge. But, I can't stop watching. Brilliant stuff mate.
"That's inaugural and the first one... and we haven't done it before either!" Love it!!!
I'm loving these throwback vids. First bike fit Tuesdays, now a Hotchillee, next I guess, you Justin, Owen and Rob will do Tour de Friends again??
Happy to see the Captain back and right from the start loved his gift to you that you must carry all the way to Paris 😂 keep the fun cycling adventures coming and have a safe trip !!
Francis, is this Hit me up on spam ??
Captain has A+ dad jokes
Lovely Jubbly now everyone's a winner!
Captain deserves a field promotion to Major.
I fucking love the Captain!
I missed the Hotchillee vids!
Looks like a fun route. Thanks for bringing us along.
This looks like a great ride. Is this Avenue Verte ? Is there anywhere we could get the GPX file for this?
I guess we traded up from Ben to the Captain in terms of shenanigans! Great to see the trips are still happening!
@@altern8tive the Captain is absolutely the OG prankster on this channel
Im glad you filmed that route down the Thames path and down the Wey through Guilford, I may ride it next week ✌🏻
Captain is hilarious!
Captain it's been a while, sure to be a good few days riding, enjoy. :)
safe travels - looking forward to the next instalment.
not to sure what this means
Love that Hot Chilli are doing London to Paris again for TDF finale weekend 🙌🙌
I love your cycling vlogs! Fan from the Philippines. I will buy an Atticus shirt as a present for myself. Birthday in two weeks!
✌️
The Captain should be in every video!
😂🤣😂the captain’s craic is golden.
I rode Essex - London - Paris two weeks ago on the road and loved it. However, I’m also about to convert a 90s MTB to a gravel bike, so will definitely be looking to do this gravel version when that’s done. 👌🏻🚴🏼♂️
"90s MTB to a gravel "
Haha! I've done this. The best kind of gravel bike imo
Just can't get on with drop bars on an off-road bike, perhaps it is because I am primarily an MTBer, but I really don't like the loss of precision in the steering and braking they cause. I find it ironic that most gravel bikes are terrible on ..... gravel!
That’s interesting to hear, as I’m actually planning to put some flared drop bars on it. It’s a quill steerer currently, so I’ll be installing a quill to a head adaptor and new style stem. But as you say you’re primarily an MTB’er, I’m chiefly a roadie, so I guess it’s what you get used to. It should be an interesting build in any case. 👍🏻
0:22 in and I’m already in stitches!😂
Great vid
Havaianas! 😆
Cheers from Brazil!
Love a pint of Long Man
Route 223 is one of my favorites (if it's dry), that little climb into Newhaven isn't that bad...
thanks
I really love the repente artax saddle. Extremely comfortable... But I had problems with the rails, as they crack. I do not know why they do not make one with alloy rails
Where can I find the route they are taking, I’d love to give it a go one day
I wondered who stole my flip flips. Only went for a quick swim.
Hey Francis,
Do you have a gpx file of the route?
TV and Film units use drones as big as a dining room table.
Hay Francis, whats with the shades? Had to watch more than once because the reflection was like a rave!!!! lol. Anyways how's the hay fever ? Magic crazy ride once again.....Cheers mate..

Great stuff. Thank you. Nice setup. Your mate sell wheels to USA?
Hey Jim, we do indeed. Just check out our International site at intl.parcours.cc/ 👍
@@ParcoursDov I did and I see those gravel wheels in my near future. When I get home from triplebypass.org in August I can focus on gravel upgrades.
When & where you arriving in Paris, just arrived myself?
Inspiration - time to chart out a Munich to Paris Gravel ride.
How hard could it be?
I use the EV12 to get to work I always think one day I'll just keep going.
#followthecaptian would follow the El Capitan even through the most narly bits! Haha
damn I’ll be in Paris starting tomorrow for a week
How did you find the Downs Link?
What! No synopsis from Captain? I feel cheated 😔🤣
#Inaugural 🙂
Can you share the gpx for this section ?
They made a gravel road through the La Manche tunnel? neat
Hmmm. What was the route then? I'm guessing wey navigation to Guildford followed by downs link to Shoreham, then along the coast to Brighton. Someone mentioned the south downs way, which you didn't take. You took the coastal wall from Brighton Marina to Saltdean instead, followed by the national cycle route number 2 to Newhaven from Saltdean. Talk about avoiding hills at all cost! I cycled the complete downs link to shoreham once, on a road bike with 25mm tyres. OK, I didn't puncture, but when you're just looking down all the time it's really no fun at all. I'd love to do it on a proper off-road bike. I'm a bit disappointed you didn't take the much hillier national cycle route 25 along the worth way and forest way then direct over the high weald into Newhaven.
Recognise the Downslink near Shoreham,
Are you on your peak performancewise atm? feels like u just did the ride to switzerland.. :D casual 3 day ride to paris it is.. :D
Not even close!
Oh cool London to Paris gravel
Bro, where is the LTwoo Test ?!!
😉
Suckers indeed. But I wouldn't say that to those queuing getting into Dover ☹😀
The tradition continues....gifting Francis on his ride. Love it.
What sunglasses are those? Looks great
Sungod Airas 👍
He's rigth, they're tongs.
Some fellow went for a swim and came back to find his flip flops stolen🤪🤣
😬
@@Cade_Media you could claim that Captain "stole" them. Unfortunately he made you an accessory after-the-fact who is transporting them across the border. Beware of Interpol on the bridleway. 🧐🙃
Suckers!!! Awesome 🤣😂
How many times have they done the London to Paris ride before? 😂
"suckaaaaas" 😂😂
Bonjour par quel chemins tu es passé pour paris SVP …?
Tubeless works so well, till it doesn't.
Will you share Strava routes please?
Definitely, would be good to see a gpx of the whole route, either Strava or Komoot
7:55 you should've told him you're ½ French
How to spot an Aussie: Thongs = Flip flops
His accent must be fading, he sounds more kiwi than aussie
Hellooo
hello!
Was having a great day until some bastard nicked my flip-flops ☹☹
New title: "Cycling to Paris with thongs"
Music way too loud, RIP ears on headphone users.
You guys just 'take' another man's thongs?
