Hi Joseph, have the same problem with young lambs especially when getting 1st dose. The race is just too wide and handling them can be very difficult..
Another great video 👍 ya it hard to get balance right jez there's grass every where up there what u get here in north Leitrim for winter grazing is like the field u took them out of don't believe that any more about Cavan men been tight might be with money not with grass 🤣🤣🤣
Just found your channel, really enjoyed it, very educational. Manage your sheep similar to myself. Is that a sheepezi race. I have a sheeezi race but use Prattly hurdles.
I find it easier behind the shoulder with the needle pointing backwards as sheep will move forward when injecting. When working around the neck they can move up, down, left and right.... more chance of injecting yourself...
Great vids. Lovely dog. Awesome setup! Watching from Nova Scotia Canada
Thank you... and welcome from Nova Scotia.. 🇨🇦.I love my little dog, could not manage without her...👍
Great video that's a brilliant sheep race and your border collie is a great help too 👍
Thanks Paul,
I could probably manage without the race but not the dog...😃
Just found your channel recently. You're doing a good job with only a couple of vids up. Hopefully your following will grow.
Keep up the good work.
Hi Paul. Much appreciated, thank you....👍
another good video - well done.
Whats the trade name of the Fluke injection that you are using.
Hi Frank, it's Fascionix 34% Injection which is a generic version on Trodax.
Good work men. Nice looking sheep.
Thank Jonathan 👍
Great video 👌
Great Video Lads
Another great video, Happy Christmas Folks
Hi Oisin, glad you enjoyed it. Thank you..👍
I often wished I had a sheep race, when I was handling a batch of young calves. The regular crushes are way too wide for the first year.

No such thing as a free dinner even in Cavan...🤣

Hi Ivan, glad you enjoying videos. Yes, SheepEze race. Would love the aluminium hurdles but couldn't get any before grant expired..
The Prattly hurdles are light, you can put out a long line off them and pull them round behind the sheep. Makes life a lot easier.
Where did you get your sheepeze handling system from?
I bought mine directly from Stanley's in Co Laois. Think they trade as SES Equipment Ltd.
Nice people to deal with 👌
I thought when you named this a “ game changer”.. that you had introduced the Te Pari system that Cammy Wilson uses oh The Sheep Game
I would love a Te Pari system like Cammy's but unfortunately you have cut your coat according to your size...
@@sheepschool365 I think Cammy had a grant from the Scottish government as a young entrant. Although he is showing a few grey hairs these days.
Is it easier to jab them where you do than in the neck?
I find it easier behind the shoulder with the needle pointing backwards as sheep will move forward when injecting. When working around the neck they can move up, down, left and right.... more chance of injecting yourself...
What make is that Handling unit, thinking on one myself...
It's a modular race from Stanley Sheep equipment in Co Laois. Great unit and nice people to deal with...👌
Would u pull the race with a quad?
It's 750kg when loaded with gates. No problem pulling with quad.
Hi what make is that race?
Hi Neil, It is a SheepEze race made in Co. Laois.
Interesting
👍❤🐑🎄
Tidy bunch of sheep!
