Frankenstein is on my personal TBR for next year... the list will be short so I can do more mood/themed reads. But I've had to read it twice for school and never for pleasure, so I want to try reading it because I want to, not because I have to. Another classic I want to read in 2025 (yes, I realize 2024 isn't over yet!) is The Maltese Falcon. That soup looked divine! Thank you for sharing this vlog!

I love your Scoobie Doo bingo! I also liked to see you decorate for Fall and your new bookshelf! I am doing Halloweenothon hosted by Kelsi (Slime and Slashers) and Cameron (Library Macabre) and other cohosts! I’m now doing the board so I roll the dice a few times as not to get overwelmed! I just finished The Amityville Horror 2, which was ok. It was jumping pov from paragraph to another so was hard to follow sometimes! Now I’m reading an old school short stories collection. LOVE your new bookshelf! Also really, really like Freya Sampson. Nosy Neighbors was very moving. Don't like the language sometimes, but you described her perfectly, which is why I like her so much. Can't wait to read The Lost Ticket by her. IM so sorry you've been sick, Amy😐 Double ear infections must really hurt! Any time I get antibiotics, I ALWAYS ask the dr. for a a RX for Rifle an because I KNOW I will get a yeast infec. from them😐 Love when you do videos like this, they're soooo fun. Book recs, cooking, decorating; just LOVE it! I started putting all your recs that I have so far, in their own notebook. Going to take me forever!!!😋😂😁🤗🤗. Will be praying g you feel better🤗
Thanks for another great cozy vlog! 🎃 I do love your Scooby Doo Bingo game for picking your books. I enjoyed Frankenstein more than I expected to and thought about it many times after reading it. I just finished Elementary, She Read by Vicki Delany, the first in the Sherlock Holmes Bookshop series. The main character, Gemma, was a bit unlikeable. But, she is supposed to be that way from what I understand. I enjoyed the book enough to want to read the next one and am hoping she continues to see the error of her ways and make some changes. I am currently reading Mrs. Pollifax and the Lion Killer by Dorothy Gilman. This is one of my favorites in the series so far. I hope your ear infection has cleared up. Happy October!

Okay first and foremost how cute are your clothes! I especially love the dress that you were wearing when you were decorating your new circular bookshelf! During the month of October I really only read Halloween cozy mysteries or scary thrillers. I am going to read Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie and then watch the movie A Haunting in Venice which I heard is loosely based on that book. That soup looked really good but since I don't eat meat how do you think it would taste without the chicken? I guess I could use a chicken substitute but I try not to eat that stuff. What do you think?
There are no more books coming out in the Caribbean Bakeshop mystery series. The author announced this earlier this year that the publisher decided not to renew the series but I am hoping she can get the rights back to the series and hopefully either self publish or get picked up by another publisher
You're really making want to try the Secret Bookcase series. I tried Ellie Alexander's Bakeshop series and didn't like it but a bookish cozy with a cat with nods to Clue are themes I enjoy more plus I'm a big fan of an overarching mystery. I hope you are feeling better now!

I checked out Olive Matthews(also Patricia Sergeant and Regina Hart) to see if there was a book 4 coming out in the series Spice Island Bakery, the publisher had nothing on the website about a 4th book?🤔 I did like her series Peach Coast Library Mystery but it's only 2 books. I believe Tiffany interviewed the author and she said the Spice Isle series was only picked up for three books.
