I wanted to trimm the hips as soon as I got it out of the package but then I changed my mind as it would destroy the best part of this figure, the sculpt is great and the paint is pretty clean. It almost looks like a statue next to chief which suddenly looks cartoony and out of place.
i took to your suggestion and trimmed out lockes hip sockets what an improvement and it didnt hurt the over all look

I just ordered the toy and now Im looking at this video.... I wish I didnt order this. How do you have a 6 inch figure with poor leg articulation. What were they thinking?!
The legs on mine seem to have more range than yours. I've got him posed with a long stride. The kneecap/thigh on the forward leg is a little more rotated than I'd like, but he looks awesomely intimidating.
BTW He's my first ever Halo figure and I bought him off the back of this review. I now have 5 more Halo figures in the post lol Thanks for another addiction, Anthony!

Ok whys it so impossible to find out simply yes or no if there's a high probability or not that these will be worth a decent or any amount of $ more than they were purchased for? As in should I worry about the packages taking them out of or leave them in??? Please someone help me out here I'll come check the thread periodically to see if there's a reply thanks in advance for any help.

Keep in mind, there's a Sprukits model for this guy out, so if you want a highly articulated Locke, that's a better option in that regard. You just have to paint in all the other details yourself
The sprukits are really good, but i gotta admit, they feel really fragile at times.
+The Rookie They are if you try to get a piece in another one the connection thing will sometimes break and sometime piece will fall put you can't put it back unless you're willing to take the risk of breaking the figure by pulling off stuff and not being able to put it back because you broke the connection thingy :(
The Rookie Beefsteak48 You just gotta be careful with these things. They're not regular action figures, and shouldn't be treated as such. After putting together a number of models, you eventually learn to take things slow, look over the pieces you're working with and be wary of certain aspects of the parts.

Thats a cool toy he's a cool Spartan and the others are to and all. Master cheif... The player can only be him for three or four times in the game. Great video and have a nice day. Please do a fallout 4 action figures review.
Just got my play arts kai arkham knight figure, just a piece of art. I bet you will like him alot. One thing that his head kinda small but over all great figure

I have this but the ab articulation part where the bottom of the stomach and abs meet popped off and one of the legs popped off the joint. Does anyone know how to put these parts back together? Please respond with valuable answers.
CANCER MEMEO for the ab articulation, just push them hard enough (I've tried it and it works).
same goes for the leg (depends on which joint).

I really want this figure but the articulation from the waist down is terrible and i think his hips are huge.

You didn't notice the blue lines were horrible done? look like thy just did a quick spash. looks bad and the white blop on it isn't good ether.
+Reiku78 thats how they are supposed to look. this is a 12 dollar figure. if something isnt 100% cleanly painted, it is acceptable

I am a bit disappointed in the Locke figure. he looks nothing like the in-game locke, and they seem like they've done a half-arsed job... Please say someone else agrees ;)
The actual sculpt is spot-on. However, his paint job is too colorful and bright compared to the almost black armor and dark gray undersuit we see in the game. The hip articulation is a real killer though. Perhaps the worst I've ever seen from a McFarlane Halo figure.
***** I'm fine with the sculpt... forgot to mention that, the colouring seems OK, besides his under-armour. I hate the light, pale colour.

Again McFarlane is really inconsistent with scale, they never get shits right. Here Locke is about 13.8cm high whereas Chief is only about 13.2cm high. Chief should've been taller.

He's not a bad guy at ALL during the game, in fact, he's way to damn soft! I bet if you told him a "Yo Mama" joke, he'd start crying.
Wtf is McFarlane doing. What happened to the days of Halo 3 figures that had great accurate sculpts and awesome articulation, all the figures starting from Reach onwards have had the junkiest, clu kiest articulation with 0 thought or effort put into it. They seem to just be taking their renders, printing them out and chopping them up a bit as opposed to editing their 3D renders to work as a functional articulated figure. Fml what a fail.
+Jeremy O'Neill according to their prototype guy, microsoft wont let them modify the designs much and the old articulation was too expensive.
