BEFORE YOU COMMENT: we do figure out in the video that the hands are removable. The reason why we didn't automatically do that is because whenever we first opened the figures we were trying to figure out how to put the armor on, and it seems like the hand would not come off purposely. I didn't want to break something that cost me $20 if not more when it came to the elite figure. So hopefully this explains why it took us so long to take the hands off the figures.

The McFarlane figures had it right. Armor looked like armor, hair looked like hair, the flood figure had great flesh texture. Great figures. But Mattel's look too cheap and plasticy, probably due to 343's art style but still.
I prefer the McFarlane figures, especially Reach.

TBH the MacFarlene figures problem was the articulation.Mattel actually did a spot on job for the detail and articulation.

I actually really love these figures. IMO, articulation is much more important than paint/detail.

I had the same, “it won’t stay on” problem on my Linda, except it was on the upper legs, and the feet. Also the joints were loose. Her legs were not aligned, and her guns did not fit in her hands. I had to glue some of the parts on, which ruined the whole “the armor come off concept”. They are absolute garbage, mcfarlane please come back

This video is actually disgusting...The hands clearly come off which usually comes with common sense. Second of all you getting mad at building a damn halo action figure. You disrespected mattel for no reason honestly.... I bought one and took me 5 minutes max to build

I am glad you like it. It is one of my favorite Armors, but these figures are a pain in the ass!
GamerJlee Hahaha I picked up on that real quickly, but I grew up building things like legos and bionicles so I can deal with parts and whatnot. How do the Mattel figures scale with the McFarlane figures?

I don't have any of the Mattel action figures, I only have the Jawares ones. I thought about picking up a collection of these that's sorta cheap. Now, watching your video, I'm not sure I'll even want them. I leave them in the packaging, but still lol. I do have a few of the McFarland ones, and I'm not too crazy about them. They all have bow legs and refuse to stand.

i got the fred 104 and the spartin lock and there were great. i took the hand off with no problem and and put the pegs on great
I have the helioskrill figure and the hand foes come off you just have to force it

To my knowledge there is to different sized pegs for each gun
