Custom homes ofcourse are more also depending on half or 5/8 plus I wouldn't stock those sheets on walls 2 guys is plenty for that house charge by the Day instead is what I would do
Thanks for this video! I just got my drywall license here in California. Your videos are awesome and great valuable info. What island do you live on? im headed to hawaii in a couple weeks november!
I don’t ever, do sq ft . You’re correct fixing the lights after the drywall guys break drywall at the lights you’ll have to fix them all . I usually add a few grand on top of my price for those unexpected items , that big you down .
What i do is estimate the amount of sheets and get the square footage off of that and use it as a base to price the job. Even if there's a window in the middle I never subtract that since we still need to bead it and finish etc... It all comes down to how long it will take you to finish and what your operating cost per day are. 🤙
Great advice on seeing and quoting vs. Sq ft price.
Thanks Tim🤙
Plus a ton of truss changes
Boy that's massive so how much was the labor cost?

90 min doesnt have glue. How is it bonding in the long run to the existing ceiling. All purpose seems the best for first coat.
You dont have 54" board out there. With having 9' ceilings it sure saves a lot of taping and finishing.
Yes we do in some jobs the owners jump the gun and order ahead of time.
Bruh. Buggah went HAM with da spray foam!!
Haha ya thankfully he took care of it.

Yup great advice
How often do you come in and plane the walls before hanging your boards?
When never plane the walls here the carpenters need to make sure everything is 100% before turning it over.
do you put the rip in the middle or top by ceiling
What ever makes it easier for us to tape afterwards 🤙🏽
Holla for 18" & 24" curved trowels..
is it better to charge per piece than soft?
