How to Color in the Lines 🎨👩‍🎨 (In Photoshop)

Hey! How do you color in the lines? Well, no, not like that, but with Photoshop? Here, I’ll show you!
When coloring it’s super easy to accidentally go outside of the linework you’ve already done. To fix this, use the magic wand tool (shortcut W) and click outside of your linework.
Then go to select and expand by only a little bit, maybe 2 pixels. Then invert your selection (ctrl, shift, I).
Then make another layer underneath this layer and use the paint bucket tool and shazam, everything is colored in! Now, if you want to color within these lines, you can Control click this layer, and turn your selection into a mask with this button down here, and now you can color as wild as you want AND stay within the lines.

Connect the lines, color with this technique, then disconnect the lines again by erasing 🤷‍♂️ Probably much faster than doing it by hand, worth giving it a try 😌
