Lovely Day at the Market I love markets. You can socialize more and get great fresher foods. Makes you get out instead looking at cell phones all day you can inter act! My aunt(rip) use to make the ducana for everyone in the neighborhood and my mom(rip) made the coconut dumplings for everyone on good Friday or just on Sundays. KFC was a Friday or Saturday treat. I miss been there. Hopefully I can visit my aunt, brother and rest of my family next year. 🤫, would be a surprise.

It seems Antiguan people are simply quiet people, even when they are disgruntled. So unfortunately, its very easy to get drowned out.
I lived there early 80s for 4 full years plus other years loved it there and obviously still seeing the place .. best food even then ital food best ever ducana and salt fish fish and fungi when I lived there just a couple jamacians back then I worked at Cockelshell Inn.. ye old coffee shoppe at redclff key and kings casino when it first opened! And brother bees anyone remember those places? I'm still friends with a girl who worked at kings with me we were in our early 20s then...

My grandmother was born in Antigua in 1899 and made coconut ice cream every Saturday when we were kids... So they still have the ice cream freezer? I never see that when I come to visit. Pepperpot and fungi & fish are my favorite. Great video.

As an Antiguan I am so proud to see in the first few minutes of Antigua video of Davidbeenhere hardly any Antiguan were visible, fried dumplings are called bakes which is not an Antiguan name, goat water has in cinnamon which is never Antiguan and Barbuda's goat water. I literally since 2022 contact David's been here invited him to Antigua and Barbuda accompanied by me but to this day no response. I'm happy to see most people he met in Antigua and Barbuda were Jamaicans and Guyanese. Davidsbeenhere it is time I stop watching my favorite show indefinitely.
This is just 1 video out of the series. To get upset about the diversity on your own island in the first few minutes of 1 video is surprising to me. By far the majority of people in my Antigua and Barbuda series are locals, however I absolutely do show the diversity of the island, since it also has a lot of Trini's, Guyanese, Jamaicans, Virgin Islanders etc. The market was very diverse and we literally just walked in filming as we went. Do you want me to fake the footage or do you want me to show you the reality on the ground as I experienced it? If this is genuinely your "favorite show" don't you think it makes sense to give the rest of the series a chance, and also to recognize that I show my videos as they actually happen, I'm not editing a narrative.

However, separate and apart, I contacted you numerous times and told you I would fly to Antigua and Barbuda to show you around. No response from you. Do better than that. However, the part about what I am seeing, you have no blame. That was not meant for you. I see you enjoyed the produce my father gave you and welcomed you to Antigua and Barbuda.
I understand, but I just see the diversity of the island to be a huge strength. Also respectfully, I don't go travel with random people on the internet, this trip was sponsored by the Board of Tourism of Antigua and Barbuda. These productions are a lot more of a formal setup than it might seem. On an aside, everybody I met in Antigua was incredibly kind hearted and nice. It is the friendliest Island and the people are some of nicest places ever met by far. Everybody was super welcoming in the Market and which one was your dad?
What I am suggesting to you is to respond to subscribers but you do have the right not too. My point pertaining to the pith of my comments is that there is an entire country problem in Antigua and Barbuda where the local folkways, culture, traditions, foods and so forth are becoming extinct, you do nor know this. It is why you have no clue that the 50,000 population back then is now more than half from other countries with no actions being taken to secure the local culture, even if you allow freedom of movement in the Caribbean. I am not against other countries living or visiting, I an against the fact the country is losing all its tradition, culture, norms and folkways without any kind of actions to preserve locals ways. Your responses are showing you are not comprehending my points. As you touched down, it is not Antigua and Barbuda culture you see but those from Jamaica or Guyana. This is what you will see every place you go in Antigua.
And I enjoyed the blue water when they said 365 beaches and when I was down there 2007 I had some of there Pepper Pot and it made my lip swelled up like a sauage but I know not eat it

This is just 1 video out of the series. To get upset about the diversity on your own island in the first few minutes of 1 video is surprising to me. By far the majority of people in my Antigua and Barbuda series are locals, however I absolutely do show the diversity of the island, since it also has a lot of Trini's, Guyanese, Jamaicans, Virgin Islanders etc. The market was very diverse and we literally just walked in filming as we went. Do you want me to fake the footage or do you want me to show you the reality on the ground as I experienced it? If this is genuinely your "favorite show" don't you think it makes sense to give the rest of the series a chance, and also to recognize that I show my videos as they actually happen, I'm not editing a narrative.
@Davidsbeenhere David the disappointment I expressed have nothing to do with you pertaining to the pith of my point. However, separate and apart, I contacted you numerous times and told you I would fly to Antigua and Barbuda to show you around. No response from you. Do better than that.
However, the part about what I am seeing, you have no blame. That was not meant for you.

I understand, but I just see the diversity of the island to be a huge strength. Also respectfully, I don't go travel with random people on the internet, this trip was sponsored by the Board of Tourism of Antigua and Barbuda. These productions are a lot more of a formal setup than it might seem. On an aside, everybody I met in Antigua was incredibly kind hearted and nice. It is the friendliest Island and the people are some of nicest places ever met by far. Everybody was super welcoming in the Market and which one was your dad?
What I am suggesting to you is to respond to subscribers but you do have the right not too. My point pertaining to the pith of my comments is that there is an entire country problem in Antigua and Barbuda where the local folkways, culture, traditions, foods and so forth are becoming extinct, you do nor know this. It is why you have no clue that the 50,000 population back then is now more than half from other countries with no actions being taken to secure the local culture, even if you allow freedom of movement in the Caribbean. I am not against other countries living or visiting, I an against the fact the country is losing all its tradition, culture, norms and folkways without any kind of actions to preserve locals ways. Your responses are showing you are not comprehending my points. As you touched down, it is not Antigua and Barbuda culture you see but those from Jamaica or Guyana. This is what you will see every place you go in Antigua.
And I enjoyed the blue water when they said 365 beaches and when I was down there 2007 I had some of there Pepper Pot and it made my lip swelled up like a sauage but I know not eat it
