- A collection of rare, unique, often hard-to-find music tracks from the 1990-2013 period, warmly welcomed back on this compilation.
Many of these songs are bonus tracks from remastered editions of original releases, some available only on Japanese versions. All tracks have been leveled for this compilation for a consistent volume level across the playlist.
Please note that although this specific compiled tracklist is not available as one CD, all the included tracks have at one point been officially released, as documented in the video. There is no bootleg material in this collection. If you particularly like a track, you are encouraged to buy the source CD referenced to in the video clip.

What a 'Discovery', no pun intended. This collection surpasses his Universe album and should, if it were possible , become Jeff's next release. Come on Chris Evans, wave your magic wand please!!! 5 stars for this collection.
I have been a Jeff Lynne fan since I first heard ELO's first stateside TOP 40 release, "Roll over Beethoven" on the radio. They made such a splash in the states and were all on the American late night concert shows like "In Concert" and "Midnight Special"...Everything with Jeff Lynne attached to it has been a treat for my ears over these years. Thanks for compiling this collection. One thing, "Lucky Motel" would have been a great song for the movie "Scarface" when they went to sell the coke at that cheap Miami Motel room.
Jeff is such a musical genius, he has captured my heart for years. He's seem so humble and sincere, we're so blessed to have him.

Jeff Lynne is a musical genius, I love all his music since I heard Out of the blue in 1977.
I read somewhere that he said that album was his most inspired and effortless to put together. The songs were just flowing out of him with the greatest of ease.
You never get tired of listening to the immortal Jeff Lynne. What incredible inspiration he's had throughout his life. Hey, George Harrison as well...

The end of One Day is quite clearly lifted from "Red Dwarf" BBC TV programme (well worth a watch - utter brilliance). Very funny thing to do, Mr Lynne God that you are. This is a superb collection. His own output and with ELO is brilliant but the amount of amazing records he has been involved with blows the mind, eg Joe Walsh "Analogue Man". Joe said Jeff has an ability to see the finished product. And if Lennon really said if The Beatles had carried on they would have sounded like ELO is mind blowing!

This compilation is currently not for sale on CD. If you want the original tracks, you'll have to buy the Japanese remaster of "Armchair Theatre", the Japanese remaster of "Zoom", the Japanese Remaster of "Long wave", the compilation "Mr. Blue Sky: the best of ELO", the soundtrack of "Robin Hood: Prince of thieves" (1991) and the soundtrack of "American Hustle" (2013). We could suggest Jeff's record company to release this compilation on CD though, I suppose. :-)

This is a great idea of putting these bonus and soundtrack music scores on one album. It's like listening to an unreleased or a new album and if someone has got all these tracks then they could just do that like I have with the exception of Jody, a Del Shannon tribute song. But I have also included "Love Changes All, Helpless, Tears In Your Life and Surrender". I like the idea of including "Wild Times" from the Robin Hood :- Prince Of Thieves soundtrack as it is one song that gets missed out all the time and probably forgotten about. I spoke to an old teacher of my son and he'd never even heard of it, so just goes to show. But well done on this original idea.

My oldest sister was dating a person who treated us to our ( first plane ride) around Toledo at Toledo Express Airport. As we waited our turns (70s) a jet landed with ELO and as I watched them get off the plane and into a Limo for a show, the excitement of my first plane ride went to zilch! My favorite band in the world was yards away. Quite a bummer as we would say then and I cant even remember the plane experiance it turned into a 3rd rate ferris wheel ride. Jody (the song if I had known it then would have sent me flying to another world.) Thanks for sharing these hard to find music tracks,

А кое в чём даже и лучше 👍! Я не являюсь активным поклонником или фанатом сэра Джеффа, однако с его творчеством знаком неплохо, и с уверенностью могу сказать, что у него просто нет плохих, проходных песен. Настоящее английское качество во всех смыслах, старая добрая Англия, хотя мистер Линн уже давно обосновался в США...

One Day is my fav track. It has got that wonderful melancholic Jeff Lynne vibe in its verses, that I absolutely love to bits, yet the chorus rocks.

Yeah, nice work, mate. It's a measure of the talent of Jeff Lynne that so many perfectly decent songs ended up as B-sides and remaster "extras". My personal favourite B-side is "Julie Don't Live Here". (Too old for this compilation, I know.) What a tune though! It's the hookiest thing I have ever heard.

Agreed! For me, "Long black road" was the great surprise in Jeff's new activity. It's every bit as good as, for example, "Don't bring me down", and should be on any ELO compilation album imho. Even my 13 year old son, who is more into 50 Cent and Rammstein, loves it.

'bout 5 octave-range voice............but his instrumentals speak at least as much 'as' his words do. This man is so brilliantly talented, even his breathing at night sounds unique☺
