Elo waren ab 1974 für mich eine der besten Bands überhaupt. Der große Fan wurde ich dann 1977 als das Doppelalbum : Out of the Blue erschien, bis heute ein wahres Meisterwerk der 70 Jahre. Während andere Bands schon 3 fach Alben rausbrachten, wo oft ein Titel gelangweilte 20 Minuten lang war , hat ELO ein Konzept Album herausgebracht. Danach folgte Discovery, dann Time und Secret Message. Für mich persönlich die 4 herausragenden Alben der Band. Es folgte noch ein Album in den 80 Jahren und dann war lange Schluss. Auch die zwei Alben der 2000 Jahre haben für mich nicht mehr diesen A-Ha Effekt gehabt, wie das Album 1977, 1978, 1981 und 1983. Darum ist es schön mal wieder das Album zu hören.

Darum ist es schön mal wieder das Album zu hören.

I bought this album when I was stationed in Germany in 1981 and have been listening to it ever since. 43 years. It's my favorite album ever,no doubt.
Saw them perform in Concert in 1981 in LA. Best concert I ever saw.

where he is confronted by the dichotomy between technological advancement and a longing for past romance.
The record is considered the first major concept album devoted to time travel as well as ELO's most influential album.
