I am not familiar with RC racing really at all but I’m curious. Can someone give me some idea of roughly how fast those cars are going?

They are going around an honest 50 to 60mph.

A lot more than that actually. In the straights 1/8th scale nitro pan cars can get to amazing speeds, 130-140 kph (80-85 mph) in less than 2-3 seconds
