I have serious problems getting the front derailleur to shift to the big gear, it seems the cable tension needs to be very precisely tuned. The spring is also extremely strong in the front derailleur.
This FD is likely to have problems clamping to a FD braze-on mount, because the bottom of the clamping face may not extend past the slot and push into it, making the whole thing rotate backwards a few degrees, killing shift quality at least, and maybe threatening to jam the bottom of the cage into the chainrings and/or destroy an aluminium hanger. You shouldn't have this problem if you're using a braze-on to clamp-on adapter, but otherwise you could try making a shim to go between the FD and hanger (fiddly to make, but it worked for me), or put smaller chainrings on. Maybe compact chainrings are now so popular, these Sensah jokers never bothered to check if it mounted properly above a 53t.
Hi! I need to know if the Rear Dellaireour Cage is compatible with Shimano 105r7000 or the Ultegra r8000 or something, please, I need to know because i want to buy a group and a oversized ceramic cage, i need to know the compatibility, thanks
the rd looks like sram and some parts on the shifters but the cable pull is actually simillar to shimano i have a friend who put this into his cyclocross using an alivio RD to be able to use 40t cogs and it works without skipping any single cassette
Do you think I could I use a 105 RD with this? Do you know if they have similar a cable pull? I bought them for my first build because I'm not exactly flush right now, but the FD was shit and I ended buying a 105 FD and found the RD surprisingly good, but now I want to use a 11-32 for steeper climbs and with D screw maxed out, there's still a lot of chain rubbing. It's advertised as compatible with 32 cassettes, although it clearly isn't.
@@mrdanialvarez we haven't tried 105 yet but i think it will work since the cable pull is pretty similar but its still up to you if im going to choose between 105 and the stock sensah rd i think would just use the stock because it was the rd made for the shifters but if you already have a 105 RD it doesnt hurt if you would try it incase if it doesn't work you could still use the stock sensah RD
@@ranzteeezy9716 I'm using the stock sensah RD right now with a 11-32 cassette and the cross chain noise is pretty bad, with 11-28 it worked great, but I live in a pretty mountainous area, so 11-28 is not feasible for me. I'm afraid I might fuck my bike up if I keep using it and I shift inadvertently to small-small. Apparently, after doing a little bit of research, the cable pull for all shimano RD is the same up to 10-speed, 11-speed is different (www.artscyclery.com/science-behind-the-magic/science-behind-the-magic-drivetrain-compatibility/) , so now I'm not sure if it'll work. @@KimMoth Yeh, fidgety fixed bolt on FD braze on. I've found the clamp braze on adapters to be just as tedious but they do work once you pre-fix the FD to adapter before fitting to your frame. I have also had to buy 3 different clamp braze on adapters to alleviate the problem you've experienced with mis-matching the groove's. Anyway, good intel 🙂
Pull it apart. Start by folding the hood back. If that doesn't help, take it off. If that doesn't help, start to disassemble the lever, only as much as necessary to enable removal of the old cable.
I was going to weigh the parts before I installed them, but forgot. However, I believe others have weighed the levers at least, which are meant to be similar in weight to Ultegra. If that's actually the case, a higher-end version of the Sensah levers using a carbon lever could be quite light indeed.
It might be too late to ask but I will try my luck. I have sensah empire on my bike and want some bigger gears then 32 on cassette. Is shifter compatible with sram rear derailleur or I should buy shimano?
If you look at my other Sensah video, I show how to make it shift a SRAM road derailer. I can't remember if there are SRAM MTB derailers with the same actuation ratio of their road derailers, but if so, you're golden.
Sure, it goes fine, no adjustment required so far, and I wouldn't expect it thanks to the huge cable pull per shift. Because the front uses a lot of cable pull too, the huge swing to get on the big ring is a bit of a PITA. I made a shim (squashed a large washer around the shank of an appropriate drillbit, and ground and filed it to fit in the crescent-shaped space between the derailer and the hanger), which allowed the silly thing to actually clamp how it's meant to, instead of angling up as the lower end of the nose mashed through the slot in the hanger. The front shifts well now, if you ignore the large amount of lever swing required.
In depth review would include actual use of the product.
Why would you NOT buy it again for?

On any shifter, it should be fully released when installing or removing cables, so single-clicked.

where is the lever reach adjuster

Sintered metal.

Except, like with most, or at least many, Chinese bargains, there's a deal breaker. In this case way too much lever throw for a shift.
