The BMCC 2.5K is still one of the best cinema cameras even today. I've owned cameras from RED to Varicams and sold them but I could never let go of my BMCC 2.5K. It's just magic.
I bought my BMCC 2.5K EF in November, 2014, and never used it. True! Life got in the way. I'm only now unboxing it and learning how to use it. I expect to enjoy every step of the learning curve and seeing the results of my efforts. I love the camera's image quality! GeoRover, great video.

@@whatisagent5629 That's great, I am glad that you found this piece worthy of inspiration. I love the Blackmagic Design "Original" family cameras, they truly are magical and so very under rated! Please browse around my channel to explore other videos that I shot with the BMPCC Original and anamorphic lens. Happy filming!
Thank you! This lens is something you have to mod to make it work, which is what I did. But here is the link of one for sale which is already modded and ready to go! Just add taking lens. www.ebay.com/itm/363563978688?hash=item54a61a0fc0:g:nycAAOSwwH9hWK1w
Hello. beautiful images. How did you manage to keep the image stretched? In 16:9 everything is narrow with pronounced black bars. Did you cut a lot on the sides? thanks
@@GeoRover 🤗you pls do post more videos.. Your frame composition style is simple outstanding mate.. Just cant take my eyes of the frame. 😍u shud do more videos. Pls do.
More films please. Love your work 👍

My exact sentiments. In good hands, you won’t need any other camera for cinematic work. It’s pure magic!

Where could I get that lens? the 2x anamorphic
You’ll have to search for it on eBay. And then will have to mod it too. It’s not a straightforward ready to use lens.

You desqueeze in monitor?
No, I do it in post. My EVF doesn't have desqueeze available. I am used to it though.
