  • On the Trail of Bigfoot: The Journey follows cryptid documentarian Seth Breedlove and his crew as they head to the Adirondacks of update New York for an intensive, adventure-filled week searching for Sasquatch. The team joins bigfoot researchers like Steve Kulls ("Monsterquest") and Paul Bartholomew (Finding Bigfoot, Beast of Whitehall) who lead them on the search for their quarry.
The Journey takes a deep look into the subject of bigfoot, but also what spurs people to spend their lives searching for a creature many believe doesn't exist. Along the way, the crew makes a stop in Whitehall, NY, home to an incident involving multiple members of law enforcement claiming to see a bigfoot in a field off a rural road. The crew has multiple unusual experiences during their various night investigations near Lake George, Whitehall, and Western Massachusetts. The Journey unveils some of that evidence.

Friends have a house in the Adirondacks that they use whenever they can get away from work. The house they bought hadn't been lived in for like 10 years and needed some serious renovations. After everything was fixed they spent a weekend there. Their son was about 18 and decided to go for a walk on a trail behind their house. After a while something began to pace him. He never saw it, but it was on two legs and sounded very heavy. He grew up hunting so he knows the sounds animals make. He took off running, ran all the way back to the house and locked all the doors. He never went back on the trail.

Yes, I do! When I was about 12-13 yrs old I lived near Bluff Creek, California. When we heard about the sighting, it was very exciting and a bit scary. Our family had been involved every year on Labor Day parade which was called Bigfoot Daze and this was in Willow Creek, California. Great memories but never saw an actual Bigfoot.

Ive heard about this b4 but by far this is the best. I love the way this was done. I just wish we would move away from calling them beasts. Idk much on "bigfoot" since ive not seen one but i do believe it is possible there is a creature out there we havent "documented" yet. Im aware of dna studies etc. If it really is a part man or an unknown primate which would make the most sense i cant see calling them beasts. I assume like man and primates in the wild there are good and bad alike. The bad maybe is where beasts came from but them other stories the good i wouldnt suspect would be referred to as beasts. Creatures maybe only bc they dont know what it is they are seeing. Tyvm for sharing this. Again its by far my favourite on this area and the stories♥️♥️♥️

I alwsys tell my encounter on these videos. And i read yours brandt. None of these people were in your shoes that rainy day on that mountain. People always call me a liar on here. My family even my wife doubt me and nothing is more frustrating. 9 years ago when i was 30 i was at my hunting camp. Maybe 100ft away if that i heard what i thought was a grown man yell. I looked in the direction trying to see him. That yell morphed into a roar that was like a lion times 5. It wasnt how loud it was that changed my life. Its the fact it produced a wave that hit my body and rattled my insides. No exaggeration the only thing i can compare it to. Is sitting in a vehicle that has a system and the bass rattles you. Nothing on earth can start out soundin like a man, roar and physically cause that. My dog took off and i snapped out of my shock and ran. I havent hunted now in 9 years. I just cant go back, some of us are more than believers we are knowers. A man named kerry arnold God rest his soul. He had his encounter in Collins Ms the same as me. The crazy part in 25 years of my paw havin those 1400 acres my encounter is the only one had there. And i hunted there from 7 to 30 years old. Just crazy it changes you though.

10,000 ways to not find Sasquatch, but get pelted with a few rocks while lugging gear around stinking up the air and creating racket that disturbs the habitat so they can't eat in full living color. Very nicely presented. Life in the forest lives on the edge. Become the habitat and they'll find you. and probably make sure you'll never do it again.

So I have a theory on why people who build homesteads have such a high amount of sightings one they're territorial and they view you as competition but you need flat ground for a house and people tend to choose prime locations for said houses they clearly are either edging on their prime hunting territory or scouting location and maybe forcing them to encroach on a more powerful clans territory putting them in danger and thus causing aggression on those encroaching on their territory and putting them in danger just a thought I also seem to see more aggression out of the further northern sightings like Canada and alaska there's more competition

Your team sure pumps out the content and it's high-quality, which is always a bonus. Do you ever get out West, though? I'm in Idaho, and we have our share of backcountry and wilderness Bigfoot encounters out here, as do they in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and (of course) Oregon and Washington. It would be interesting to see what you might come up with in the Rocky Mountain and Intermountain states. Seems as though, with most reported encounters, BF prefers not to interact with groups of more than two or maybe three. One-on-one encounters with the footster seem to be the way he/she likes it. Stay safe out there. One of these days, all of your hard work is going to pay off. Cheers.

@@Wesmancan Yeah. Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming are well-known as hotbeds of liberalism. One can tell that right away by the "Stand Your Ground" laws and "Constitutional Carry" that residents there are forced to endure. Glad to live in the mid Adarondek mountains. Best place to be for living off grid. Sasquatch is abundant here. Had many sightings and vocalizations here. Native American elders here say wood knocks from the sasquatch or rock people are a sign of aggression and shouldnt be repeated. Also they say, stories of the Boggyman originate from native american tibes telling of a hairyman taking children if out too late or too far away from the shelter of the tribe. If sasquatch is not a real life creature, then please explain why it is illegal by game and wildlife regulations to hunt Sasquatch or Uniqua in the state of Washington and Alaska

I'm from upstate NY, closest cities being Rome/Utica . Whenever I tell people I'm from NY they think of NYC and are usually surprised when I tell them that most of NY is actually very rural areas with lots of forests and farmlands. I lived in Westernville (pop. 130) which is about three hours West of the Adirondack mountains. I never saw a Bigfoot, Wild Man, Hairy Man, or Sasquatch, but if N. Americans could just come together and settle on one name for the elusive creature it would be really great. I cant think of any other animal that is called something different depending on where you're at. A horse is a horse of course, of course!

My 2 interactions happened not far as the crow flies in 1983. I was 13 years old and have been looking for answers since. UA-cam brought it to light from hearing other people's experiences of what i have been questioning for a long time. Emily is off with her migration theory of them coming from Ontario. I am no expert by any means, but I've always thought the calling and whooping and tree knocking to be silly. I think these beings are very aware of any human presence WAY before any calls and if they are curious, they will come check you out. Forest ninjas would know anything going on in an area they were at. A group of people with flashlights and equipment would be the same as walking in with bells on and shouting. Like I said, I don't pretend to know much if anything about them, but I tend to think that if they are curious, they are already watching you and you wouldn't be aware of it.

Spot on! For me, any chance of getting close to any living animal or “thing” whilst creeping around the wilderness, surely is instantly going to be scared off by hearing something like a log being bashed against a tree trunk! I wish he had stayed in stealth mode, as when all talking (breaking his own rules 🤦🏻‍♀️) a noise was captured! Yet again he wasn’t very interested to hear it! 🤣 I actually found the documentary fascinating and (Spoiler Alert ‼️) Big Foot forgot to come out of hibernation for his part!! Brilliantly filmed and produced ❤ even if not interested in Myths& Legends this is still a good film 👍😉

And sometimes people observe Sasquatches in the wild in situations in which the Sasquatch seems to be unaware of being observed. How you make it all fit together is not exactly clear to me.

The Adirondack Park is the largest and most protected state park in the continental United States. Much larger than Yellowstone. There are many spots up here still where man has never set foot. If Sasquatch live in thick hidden forests, than theyre definitely here in NYS. So, yeah, I'm really excited that youre up here investigating more, always been surprised more ppl don't. Excited to see what evidence y'all find
Also, my good friend hunts Buck Mtn every year. He's up there a lot. I'm gonna ask him if he ever saw or heard anything of interest. If he has any stories, I'll post em here in the future

When I was 14, I was part of a Program called The Youth Wilderness Program. We hiked over Mt. Marcy and ended in a place called Panther Gorge. On the way there it was raining and cold. We lost the trail head. I looked up and saw what I thought was an old Man. I asked him for directions. He never said anything. He just pointed in a direction. I remember waving to Him and thanking Him. The counselor named Bob looked at me and said, That wasn't a Man. I believe to this day it was a Bigfoot.

I try and watch the adverts to help but they where all 2-3-4 minutes long when your in bed getting into the video then bang 5 minutes advert , then 10 minutes of film then 3 minutes of advertising then 10 minutes film and so on it gets a bit much for just one video, I've watched all your videos and love the channel ,

Great video. I always look forward to Sunday nights to watch this channel.. What Jonathan Wilks describes at 1:13, as the sound of a gorilla + lion is similar to what I experienced on a trail near Diablo Lake, Washington back in 1993. I didn't see the creature but it was breaking tree branches and brush in front of me about 50 feet away. It let out a roar so loud that I could feel it in my chest. To me, it sounded like an African lion mixed with Gorilla.

we have no bigfoot in France, at most a few bears and wolves in the Alps and the Pyrenees, but given the number of people who witness the presence of these creatures I strongly doubt that they are liars or afabulators. in my region in Brittany, we have a lot of deer and wild boar, although it is quite rare to see them, and we do not have areas as wooded as in your regions, so it is not surprising that an animal as bigfoot can easily go unnoticed in the vast wooded expanses of your region. but I like your videos and the landscapes are superb. THANKS

I was at Point au Roche on Lake Champlain on a deserted, windy October morning and although I'm no expert but I came across some dubious looking scat and had obviously interrupted something because it trailed off into a wooded area. I decided not to enter it. Does anyone know if telepathy is known to happen in some potential encounters? I've been fascinated since.

We often take for granted this amazing beautiful planet we live on - our living Mother Earth who provides all we need.
If we really look at her expansive lands/water way's its only logical that a man like being live's here with us protected by nature herself.
Its also tru there are unknown creatures found/discovered all the time including things once considered extinct : )

I admire the work your team does, some excellent unbiased research. However when will American researchers realise that bashing against trees or making vocalisations is pointless. These intelligent creatures will only make their presence known in their own time and place. Researchers and ordinary citizens that observe the most sightings and vocalisations, are by accident and not usually by design. The same thing happens here in Australia with yowies, sightings and vocalisations occurring by accident, not by design.

I really enjoy these films, thanks for uploading them. I was watching this on a large screen tv and noticed something at 1:25:46. As the helicopter is flying over the tree covered peaks, something is at the top off a tree and then ducks down and out of view. I have watched it several times and it is clearly there but I can't make out what it is. It has peaked my interest though. I wonder if someone can zoom in and sharpen the detail. The film maker may have inadvertently captured Biggy scaling a tree to get a closer look at the helicopter.
