Gday. Are the piston rings pre gapped to suit the cylinde bore in these kits? Or do you need to gap the rings yourself to get the right gap? If so what gap is reccomended?
What advice would you give on how to take the 5/8 fuel outlet on the tank dow to 3/16 for the carb. Did you use a barb type reducer or am I missing something really obvious?
Hello, a friend of mine bought this cylinder kit and we're debating about what exhaust should be better with it. A Yasuni R or a stage 6 pro replica. What would be your opinion about both of the exhausts?
Yasuni R. Check out these 2 videos: ua-cam.com/video/qJ4AGJQfiuc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=ScooterStreet ua-cam.com/video/mtc6RtfBxco/v-deo.html&ab_channel=ScooterStreet
Hi, i have 70cc Malossi kit on my 2011 with piaggio engine, it is still ditech, previous owner said that he was adding oil into the fuel tank to make up for extra cc because Piaggio engine oil pump dont compensate for extra cc,some people say don't ad oil. What is your experience and is it needed or not? Thank you
Adding oil can increase the compression, you may run into issues with premature fouling, dirty injectors and spark plugs, so monitor these if you are adding additional oil. Tke time to get the chemistry correct. Did you fit the Malossi cylinder kit with the Malossi ECU? Or are you running the original ECU?
@scooterstreetau it does have Malossi ECU and i have random misfire a WOT and also hard start when sitting for too long, im assuming oil is plugging injector, so i might run it without adding oil into the fuel. Spark plug is black,
@@libertyliberty2306 The Malossi ECU controls the oil system and is said to increase the oil flow to compensate, we ran this system on a Ditech for 20'000 kms and did not have an oil issue, we did have regular maintenance and that include checking the plug and injector. Both air and fuel injectors.
@scooterstreetau thank you for being so helpful, hard to find proper info, cause previous owner told me that Piaggio engine does not ad extra oil , reason why he was adding extra in the fuel tank, but like you mentioned it does nad you have no issues.
@scooterstreetau i didn't use the bike last year, i filled it with fresh gas and it didn't want to start, i sprayed some fuel into the throttle body and it fired up but smoked quite a bit, probably from the oil, i will let it burn off, Also what spark plug are you using or recommending? I have CPR8E and CR8EIX but i heard that people are having good experience with CR7EIX
I subscribed to this channel hoping to see you do some or at least ONE video of the type of scooter I have but so far your producing one other than the one i have, I cannot sub or follow a YT channel if none of them give me any help or information. For a channel that said "Scooter street" would usually have most of the scooter that is what people ride or own but you don't. I can sub anymore due to this unless you do some you know?
ACP, mate we have been waiting to hear from you...... Now that you are here, please tell us what scooter do you have? 🤷♂️ If you don't tell us we just don't know. Then we can try our best to do a Video or 2 of that model.😎
Hi, is there a 70cc kit for piaggio engine? I have 2011 sr50 ditech and looking to convert to carb
Thanks
Yes! You can see all of the parts on the Malossi website, Aprilia-SR50-Ditech.

Yes on the Branded kits. The manual has the relevant in fo for the Cylinder kit.

reducer joiner, tapered hose or spacers.
